Wahana Islamika: Jurnal Studi Keislaman (Print ISSN 2599-2929; Online 2614-1124) has been published by the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al Husain (STAIAH) Magelang. Wahana Islamika is published twice a year in April and October, the contents are scientific writings Islamic studies both in the fields of economics, education, science of the Qur'an and tafsir in forms of conceptual ideas, literature review, practical writing, or research results from various perspectives.

<![CDATA[When a customer needs funds and has collateral, the customer can use his collateral to carry out sharia financing or mortgage. Will customers choose sharia financing or mortgage. This causes mutually exclusive, that is if the customer chooses financing, then it does not choose sharia mortgage and vice versa. However, customers will certainly choose one of the alternatives. Therefore the purpose of this study is to find out the factors that distinguish customers in choosing financing or Islamic mortgage. The factors that are considered by customers in choosing financing or sharia pawning studied include: requirements, product variations, costs and expenses, collateral, loan value, services and location. This research is a field research with a sample of 100 people, the technique used is nonprobability sampling, namely purposive sampling, sampling techniques with certain criteria, namely customers who have made sharia financing or mortgage in the Yogyakarta region. As for the data analysis method, the compiler uses descriptive statistical methods and Correspondence Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the factor that distinguishes clients in choosing Islamic finance is the distance factor, namely the location of close Islamic finance services. <![CDATA[Theology and philosophy, as a science, have a long history of birth in the Islamic world. However, it does not mean that the studies that have been carried out several centuries ago must be applied in the same way in contemporary times. In Islamic scientific history, philosophy and theology have a thick theological style, in stead of the discursive method of study. In the context of history, such patterns and methods are still understandable, because the social conditions of the people at that time did demand that. The problem is that such methods and patterns are often used by reviewers to discuss this two sciences at this time. Finally, this kind of study raises a polemic and creates an atmosphere of hostility in contemporary society. Therefore, a new approach is needed in reviewing both. The theological discursive approach must be replaced with an anthropocentric applicative approach, so that the development of these two sciences can have more beneficial value for society. This research attempts to direct the development of the two sciences by using the theory of shifting paradigm popularized by Thomas Kuhn.]]>

<![CDATA[Islamic banks that emerge with the concept of interest-free banking are less well received by the public. The development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, accompanied by the emergence of groups who lack confidence in the ability and credibility of Islamic banking. Negative views on Islamic banks can lead to the emergence of social prejudice against Islamic banks. This study uses the postpositivist paradigm with exploratory research design. The sample to be used in this study amounted to 10 of the Muslim customers of conventional banks in the city of Yogyakarta. The data collection techniques used are interviews. The analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study concluded that in terms of stereotypes the respondents did not know clearly related to Islamic banking, respondents considered Islamic banks currently running not in accordance with the existing concepts, some even argued that the application of Islamic banks was the same as conventional banks. Based on the aspects of beliefs and judgments, respondents were only able to mention the impact of the existence of Islamic banks in terms of religiosity only but could not mention real impacts in the community. Based on emotional aspects, respondents felt positive emotions related to Islamic banks and considered Islamic banks to be better than conventional banks but respondents tended to prefer to use conventional banking services. <![CDATA[Equality of position is the right of every person, including women. In historical records, women are very vulnerable to facing injustice which results in their rights being harmed. As a result, the position of women becomes marginalized and even their position becomes subordinated. To respond to this gender injustice, various movements emerged that sought to minimize the margin of injustice. Unfortunately, this kind of movement is sometimes too excessive, so it keeps women away from their natural nature. This article seeks to compare the views of the gender equality movement between western radicalism which in fact distracts women from their nature and moderate views of Islam which places women in their natural nature. this study was examined qualitatively with a comparative approach. This study concluded that the gender equality movement proposed by western radicals actually led women to new problems that could not balance rights and obligations. <![CDATA[The author seeks to understand as well as analyze based on a survey from the field about the knowledge of the calligraphy of the Qur'an which is an academic anxiety program of hadith interpretation, so that the writer tries to review it from the perspective of knowledge, aside from interest in the tradition of writing and placement. This research approach will use the phenomological approach with data collection techniques carried out by interview. The results of this study are that almost all Muslim homes in the village of Borobudur have recited the Qur'an in the form of ornaments with a variety of models and sizes that are widely felt. After the houses, mosques and contents with the holy verses of the Koran seemed to have a spiritual home that occupies always feel at home, the more they look at the decoration of calligraphy, the more intrigued the mind is to draw closer to Allah. <![CDATA[To achieve the results of a goal requires an encouragement. The power that is the driving force is called motivation, which shows a condition in the individual who drives and moves the individual to carry out an activity to achieve a goal. Motivation underlies all individual behaviors, as well as the learning process undertaken by students. Learning is a long process, which has been carried out for years. Learning requires motivation, especially achievement motivation so that it can encourage students to always give their best. This type of research is library research, which is an attempt to obtain data using library resources. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. In analyzing the data that has been collected, the author uses several methods of analysis, namely descriptive methods and content analysis methods. In the novel Negeri 5 Menara Alif was able to carve out achievements by being elected as Student Speaker. <![CDATA[One alternative that is expected to overcome the problem of poverty is the active participation of the community in developing cash waqf or management of productive waqf. If the potential of this waqf can be coordinated and managed properly, then this can provide an alternative contribution to the positive solution to the problem of poverty. However, the potential of waqf cannot be utilized optimally, because of obstacles. This study is qualitative research that uses descriptive exploratory research designs. While the data collection techniques used are by conducting interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis. The use of the analytical method is in accordance with the type of data produced, namely qualitative data in the form of interviews and documentation, regarding what are the obstacles in the management of productive waqf. After the research was carried out, the results were found that the obstacles in the management of the first productive endowments were HR or Nazhir factors Employment as Nazhir was a side job so work as Nazhir was carried out if there was free time. Both the allotment property or waqf pledges. In general, wakif when carrying out waqf pledges immediately mentions the allocation of waqf assets. Third, the socialization has not been maximized. Fourth is financial or fund factors, because to manage waqf assets requires no small amount of funds.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out which learning model produces better mathematics learning achievement and creativity, students who are subject to mind mapping-based MURDER learning models or MURDER learning models (M). The population in this study were eighth grade students of State Middle Schools in Magelang District. Sampling is done by stratified cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method, learning achievement tests. Testing the hypothesis in this study uses two-way MANOVA analysis with unequal cells. The results showed that first students with mind mapping based MURDER learning models produced achievements that were as effective as students with MURDER learning models, and students with mind mapping-based MURDER learning models produced better creativity than students with MURDER learning models.]]>

<![CDATA[The large amount of competition in the business world today makes every company must have a specific strategy to deal with it. Companies must be able to survive and even continue to grow. One way is to maintain existing customers. Companies must be able to maintain customer loyalty. Trust in the brand is part of the consumer perception that the goods or services purchased or used can be relied upon and provide guarantees that they are not detrimental. The design of this study was designed in the form of field research, where the research data and information were obtained from research field activities. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to the type of causality. The sampling technique uses the judgment sampling method, namely sampling with certain considerations. The sample of this study was 69 respondents. The data analysis uses Multiple Linear Regression (t Test and F Test) with the help of SPSS for Windows 15.0. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that brand characteristics variables, company characteristics and consumer-brand characteristics have a significant influence on brand loyalty both partially and simultaneously.]]>
