<![CDATA[Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkembangkan rasa percaya diri para remaja putri di Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Kota Barat Surakarta. Rasa Percaya Diri diawali dengan adanya konsep diri dan akan mempengaruhi rasa harga diri seseorang. Kosep Diri adalah pandangan dan perasaan kita tentang diri kita. Persepsi tentang diri ini dapat bersifat social, psikologis dan fisis. Selanjutnya Rasa Percaya Diri adalah kepercayaan terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri. Sedangkan Rasa Hatga Diri adalah rasa seberapa berharga diri sendiri dalam lingkungannya. Untuk itulah sangat penting membangun Rasa Percaya Diri di kalangan remaja putri Panti Aauhan Aisyiah yang secara social-ekonomi sangat bergantung kepada kedermawanan sesama manusia, agar perkembangan mereka dapat optimal dan terbebas dari rasa rendah diri (minder). Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Penyuluhan ,Konseling Kelompok, Simulasi dan Pendampingan. Dari kegiatan tersebut dapat diperoleh informasi adanya keberanian mengemukakan pendapat tentang pemilihan studi lanjut dan kekhawatiran tentang pembeayaannya. Selanjutnya kekhawatiran tersebut dapat dihilangkan oleh para remaja putri setelah diberikan informasi adanya berbagai jenis beasiswa yang disediakan oleh universitas Slamet Riyadi dan pentingnya pe.ngembangan diri untuk menggapai cita-cita.]]>

<![CDATA[Paguyuban Batik Tulis Langensari (PBTLS) is a community of batik artisans in the area around Embung Langensari, Yogyakarta. Determining the target of enthusiast of handmade batik from PBTLS crafters requires a strategy so that batik results can be right on target. The strategy that will be carried out requires an agreement that becomes a joint agreement in the community, given the current fashion trends that are developing very fast. Along with the development of the main trends in life, namely go green that returns to nature, fashion trends are also following. Today's global fashion trends are shifting from fast fashion to slow fashion. The target of the PBTLS is to determine the meeting point between products that have been produced as supply and market needs/demand. The method used in determining PBTLS targets is carried out through 4 stages. The first stage identifies the range of products that have been produced by PBTLS. The second stage determines the target users of PBTLS products. The third stage determines the direction of product development. Then the fourth step determines the uniqueness of PBTLS products. In carrying out these four steps, a crafter's poll was conducted through a "mentimeter application" conducted on 17 PBTLS artisans and focus group discussions (FGD). Through the application of the "mentimeter" the results of the PBTLS artisans poll can be immediately known to be discussed and formulated together through the FGD. The results obtained by the main target of PBTLS are middle-aged mothers consumers. Uniform fashion / formal batik fashion becomes the main target for the direction of PBTLS product development by developing the unique PBTLS products namely motifs and colors of handmade batik.]]>

<![CDATA[Temanggung robusta coffee has flavors and raw material components that reflect the regional characteristics. To assure the quality and increase the competitiveness, coffe harvesting and post-harvest processing must be carried out according to the geographical indication standart (IG). The application standar of IG practically still has several problems such as a low motivation of harvest and post-harvest processing aspects as well as farmer’s group management. By cooperating with two farmers’ group in Muncar and Ngadisepi village, Gemawang sub-district, Temanggung Regency, Universitas Sebelas Maret has implemented community partnership program. This aim at increasing motivations and skills of farmers in managing coffee processing based on IG standart. Methods used in this programs include: (1) training, (2) introduction of a pulper device, and (3) supervision. This program has: (1) increased motivation, knowledge, skills of farmers’ group in coffee post-harvest processing based on IG standart, (2) increased motivation for strengthening management of farmers’ group institutions, (3) provided applied technology, and (4) increased the economic of coffee value added.]]>

<![CDATA[Kehamilan merupakan bagian dari proses maturasi perempuan yang memiliki berbagai risiko kesehatan. Kehamilan risiko tinggi menjadi faktor utama peningkatan AKI dan AKB di Indonesia. Kelurahan Bandarharjo Semarang Utara terdapat mempunyai warga dengan kondisi hamil risiko tinggi. Ibu memeriksakan kehamilannya di Puskesmas, namun pelayana yang diberikan masih sebatas Antenatal Care yang dilakukan rutin setiap bulannya. Karakteristik keluarga ibu hamil juga tidak memahami cara perawatan sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan program pendampingan yang dilakukan secara berkesinambungan. Program tersebut berupa Kelompok Pendamping Kehamilan Resiko Tinggi (KP-KRT) berbasis continuity of care untuk menurunkan resiko –resiko yang terjadi pada Ibu hamil. Methode pada Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap yaitu yaitu (1) Sosialisasi, (2) Peningkatan kompetensi, (3) Latihan ketrampilan atau pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan (4 ) Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PKM dapat teridentifikasi ibu hamil yang mengalami resiko tinggi, didirikannya rumah kehamilan sejahtera, meningkatkan kompetensi kader melalui pelatihan, dan terbentuknya alur rujukan ibu hamil resiko tinggi. Kesimpulan, pentingnya pendampingan pada ibu hamil untuk menurunkan resiko yang terjadi pada kehamilan. Saran, diperlukannya pemantauan dan follow up dari pemerintah khususnya puskesmas setempat untuk menjaga keberlangsungan dari program KP-KRT.]]>

<![CDATA[Female teachers of SMK Negeri 4 Surakarta have not been able to fill sustainable development, especially in increasing their professionalism in making scientific work. This work is very important in addition to measuring the success of learning as well as to improve the analytical skills of teachers in dealing with problems in the classroom. The problems faced by partners are: (1) lack of understanding and insight into the importance of other libraries that can be used to add teaching material in the teaching and learning process; (2) female teachers are not yet motivated to arrange scientific work as demands that must be met as professionals; (3) not many female teachers take advantage of opportunities and opportunities to develop themselves and increase their creativity as educators to support sustainable development practices; (4) there are still teachers who have not utilized the existence of mass media as partners that can be used to accommodate scientific work to meet the requirements as certified teachers. The targets of the Community Service are as follows: (1) socializing the importance of scientific work as a manifestation of professionalism; (2) holding a meeting to increase the motivation of female teachers in making work of innovation and creativity in order to improve the learning process; (3) provide training in the formulation of opinions based on scientific articles to be uploaded to online mass media. Outputs that can be given through community service are as follows: (1) report on the results of service; (2) making articles for scientific publications that are submitted to the journal of the results of the service; (3) submitting articles to mass media. The method of implementation is through socialization, training, mentoring and motivation. The results of the implementation of the activity showed the enthusiasm and great interest of the female teachers in the socialization and training of the preparation of scientific publications including articles produced to be published in print and online mass media.]]>

<![CDATA[Increasing soybean production is still experiencing many obstacles. Senting village farmers, Sambi sub-district, Boyolali district, used to grow soybeans with seeds purchased from local village markets of poor quality. Given that the importance of seeds in influencing soybean yields, farmers need to be supported the help of superior seeds. The seeds for farmers' help are intended to show that new varieties of soybeans will produce higher yields. Community service is complemented by training in making soymilk for PKK mothers in the local village. The output of community service in 2019 is expected to be able to show an increase in crop yields and be useful for mothers to generate ideas and be brave in developing soy milk. Students who help this service are expected to learn directly from the community and also on soybean farms.]]>

<![CDATA[Pengembangan wisata budaya di Desa Wisata Tapak Tilas Sultan Agung dan Desa Wisata Songgo Langit ini merupakan bagian dari Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) ini memfokuskan pada program Desa Mangunan Sebagai Wisata Desa Unggulan Yang Kompetitif dan Berbudaya. Tujuan program ini adalah menjadikan mitra sebagai model pusat pertumbuhan ekonomi kerakyatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat berkelanjutan melalui potensi desa wisata yang dipadukan dengan budaya. Program pengembangan yang dilakukan, meliputi: legalisasi perkumpulan dalam bentuk sanggar seni. Untuk melakukan legalisasi Sanggar Lestari Budaya dan Sanggar Ngesti Budoyo dibuatlah akta notaris agar dalam beraktivitas memiliki keabsahan dan dilindungi oleh Peraturan Perundang-undangan yang berlaku. <![CDATA[Metode Brainstorming dikenal juga dengan metode curah pendapat atau sumbang saran. Hanya saja brainstorming kali ini dialakukan dengan cara tertulis. Tidak secara lisan. Berbeda dengan diskusi, dimana gagasan dari seseorang dapat ditanggapi (didukung, dilengkapi, dikurangi, atau tidak disepakati) oleh peserta lain, pada penggunaan metode Brainstorming pendapat orang lain tidak untuk ditanggapi. Metode ini berdasarkan pendapat bahwa sekelompok manusia dapat mengajukan usul lebih banyak dari anggotanya masing-masing. Dalam metode ini disajikan sebuah soal. Lalu para peserta diajak untuk mengajukan _dea pa pun mengenai soal itu, tidak peduli seaneh apapun ide itu. Ide-ide yang aneh tidak ditolak secara apriori, tetapi dianalisis, disintesis dan dievaluasi. Boleh jadi pemecahan yang tidak terduga yang akhirnya munculâ€. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Brainstorming adalah suatu bentuk diskusi dimana peserta didorong untuk menyatakan gagasan, pendapat, informasi, pengetahuan, pengalaman serta ide-ide mengenai suatu masalah tanpa adanya penilaian dari pesertalain. Hanya saja brainstorming yang dicoba dikenalkan adalah dengan cara tertulis. Tujuan penggunaan metode Brainstorming ialah “menguras habis segala sesuatu yang dipikirkan oleh peserta didik dalam menggapi masalah yang dilontarkan kepadanyaâ€. Agar tujuan dalam penerapan metode Brainstorming dapat tercapai maka perlu adanya aturan yang diperhatikan. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar metode Brainstorming dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien sehingga tujuan yang diharapkan dapat terealisasi.]]>

<![CDATA[English learning for children called English for Young Learners (TEYL) is developing in various parts of the world, especially in developing countries including Indonesia. This policy began in Indonesia since the enactment of the 1994 Curriculum, and its implementation continues to be increasingly necessary. This is related to the government's efforts to prepare reliable and quality students, who will be able to compete at the national and international levels. English has become a very important language in the international community. Therefore, everyone is expected to be able to learn, master and understand English well. In Indonesia, English occupies an important priority as the first foreign language that must be studied and mastered by students and has been taught in schools ranging from kindergarten to university level. In learning English, there are four (4) language skills that must be learned by students, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. One of the important language skills to be learned by students is speaking. One element of language that needs to be improved to support speaking skills is vocabulary. Vocabulary plays an important role in word recognition. The more English vocabulary that is owned and mastered by students, the better they are at understanding various learning materials delivered in English. Mastery of a large and extensive English vocabulary can also improve students' ability to communicate using English. The introduction of English vocabulary in SDN 01 Suruh Tasikmadu Karanganyar can use learning media that is fun, easy and effective. The learning media is Word Webs. The Word Webs media has the benefit of increasing students' knowledge of English vocabulary and strongly supports speaking skills. Word Webs learning media is a learning media that can be used in the teaching and learning process of English especially Vocabulary. Through this Community Service Activity or Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, learning English using Word Webs media at SDN 01 Suruh Karanganyar feels more fun and memorable. This will make students feel enthusiastic and happy in learning English provided by using Word Webs media. This media can also help teachers in teaching English vocabulary to support students' speaking skills with fun.]]>

<![CDATA[All members of the Kelapa-Mas community work as palm-sugar-maker in Kliwonan, Banjarharjo, Kalibawang District, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The community has been producing palm sugar for generations and selling it to traditional markets around the village. There is a possibility that the community product could be developed to get a wider market and would give a better economic impact on the community. Through the UKDW Service Learning program in 2019, the community has been assisted to increase the value of their palm-sugar product. This assistance is carried out in 4 stages, First: counseling of good and hygienic production processes according to P-IRT standards, Second: assistance to product branding and packaging, Third: counseling and initiation of product marketing through online/digital and offline media, in collaboration with retail stores, and Fourth:Â assistance and initiation of an organization, in order to continuing the palm-sugar-maker community to operating and growth independently. The results obtained during the full one-month intensive mentoring period were: the better sugar products with clear & catchy branding, a wider offline marketing network through modern retail and online media, a business license for P-IRT, and a well-structured-organization for management of the Kelapa-Mas palm-sugar household industry community organization]]>
