Abstract

ABSTRACT The research is intended to know the effect of plant density and Polaris herbicide dosage applied in no tillage system on the growth and the yield of corn (Zea mays L). The highest weight of grains per plot (3153,54 g) per plot is achieved by the combination of plant density of 75 x 20 cm and Polaris dosage of 4 l/ha, and the lowest (1844,16 g) per plot is obstained by the combination of plant density of 75 x 30 cm and Polaris dosage of 2 l/ha Key word : plant density, Polaris herbicide, no tillage, corn

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was aimed to know the effective of Magnesium in foliar fertilizer to over come the attack of tikka disease on groundhut. The method was arranged in Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) done on regosol type of soil. The groundnut of “Gajah” variety was treated by Supermes plus 0,5% magnesium, Supermes plus 1% magnesium, Supermes plus 1,5% magnesium, Gandasil, and Tress. Each treatment was replicated three times and in each treatment, ten samples were picked up. The significant data were analyzed with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test 5%. The research indicates that foliar fertilizer application showed significant effect to the intensity of tikka disease, the number of filled pods, the weight of filled pods, the number of empty pods, the fresh weight of biomass and the dry weight of biomass. Supermes plus 1% of Mg shows the lowest intensity of tikka disease (30% on 45 days after sowing and 34 % on 66 days after sowing). It leads to being able to provide the best growth on the dry weight of biomass of 15,887 g and the highest on weight of filled pods of 20,801 g. Abstract

ABSTRACT People nutsedge is an important weed, because beside complete also excreted the allelopathy. Related in cultivated crop, decreased of growth and yield due to this important weed was studied. Weed growth performance due to different of material propogation on number and infestation pweiod ia very important to study either. Onion as a cultivatwd crop was planted on this ewsearch bwcause it has height nutrient value, Research was conducted on pots, in gren house Mojosongo at an altitude 125 m above sea level, ans started on April 2002 until August 2002. Completely Randomizes Block Design two factors was used on this research. The first factors was early density of weed (P) 2,4,6 tubers per pot. The second factors was  investationperiod (1): 2 weeks before planting, timely planting, 2 weeks and 4 weeks after onion planting. Result of this research showed that different in infestation period caused different early density did not cause different in growth and yiel of onion but that different in infestation period caused different in growth and yield of onion. Abstract

Tujuannya untuk memberikan bekal pengetahuan dan ketrampilan bagi Kelompk Tani Mulyo, Desa Mranggen, Kecamatan Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo yang menyangkut Teknologi Tepat Guna tentang Budidaya Pengembangan Belut yang efektif dengan media berlapis pada kolam di lahan kering.Metode yang dilakukan civil teknis selama 8 bulan (2 bulan persiapan, 6 bulan pembesaran/pemeliharaan di kolam terpal) meliputi 1. Kegiatan persiapan, 2. Ketiagan Teknis Teoritis (pembekalan), 3. Kegiatan operasional seperti : a pembuatan kolam sebanyak 12 buah kolam, b. Pengisian / penyusunan kolam dengan media berlapis 7 lapis urut dari bawah ke atas, e. Penebaran 60 kg bibit belut untuk 12 kolam atau masing-masing kolam 5 kg pada tanggal 16 Juni 2014; .f). Panen dan Pengamatan Hasil dilakukan tanggal 15 Desember 2014 menyangkut pertumbuhan (panjang, lingkar, dan berat tubuh, serta perkembangan hidup belut.Hasil pengamatan perkembangan tubuh diperoleh : 1). Warna kulit ketika bibit adalah kehitam-hitaman tidak mengkilat, sedangkan ketika dewasa berubah hitam cerah/mengkilat atau kulit bagian atas coklat dan bagian bawah berwarna kuning. 2). Bentuk kepala ketika bibit lancip atau lonjong meruncing, sedangkan ketika dewasa berubah menjadi brbentuk lonjong membulat; 3). Tingkah laku ketika bibit tidak muncul ke permukaan baik sinang / malam, sedangkan ketika dewasa terutama waktu malam yang keluar muncul di permukaan adalah belut yang ukruan besar / dewasa.Selanjutnya dari pemeliharaan belut 60 kg (12 kolam) selama 6 bulan akan diperoleh 235,210 kg belut dewasa dengan tingkat kematian/hilang 10% dengan harga jual Rp.35.000,00/kg = Rp 8.225.000,00, dikurangi total biaya yang dikeluarkan Rp 2.500.000,00= Rp 5.725.000,00 (keuntungan). Atau jika 12 kolam dapat digunakan 3 th (6xpanen), maka akan diperoleh keuntungan ± 6xRp 5.725.000,00 = Rp.35.000.000,00 dengan luas lahan cukup 54 m² atau per kolam (4.5 m²) = Rp 35.000.000,00:12 = 2.916.666,666. Demikian pula berdasar B/C ratio>1 berarti usaha ini masih menjanjikan atau prospektif, lebih-lebih dengan meningkatkan penghematan biaya atau kerja optimal dan pemasaran yang efektif.Kata kunci: budidaya belut, kolam terpal bertingkat, media berlapis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari teknologi kacang tanah terpadu untuk mendapatkan varietas spesifik lokasi, densitas tanaman optimum dan teknik pengendalian gulma yang efektif yang didasarkan pendekatan hasil tanaman kacang tanah. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan pengulangan sebanyak tiga kali . Faktor varietas kacang tanah adalah kelinci, jepara dan panter, densitas tanaman adalah 250.000 dan 333.332 tanaman per hektar, teknik pengendalian gulma adalah disiang dua kali pada 21 dan 42 hari setelah tanam (HST) serta herbisida glifosfat 1,44 kg b.a per hektar. Perlakuan varietas secara mandiri berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman , jumlah polong isi pertanaman, berat biji per tanaman, berat biji per petak,. Perlakuan densitas secara mandiri berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman , jumlah polong isi pertanaman, berat biji per tanaman, berat biji per petak, berat kering brangkasan dan perlakuan teknik pengendalian gulma berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman , jumlah polong isi pertanaman, , berat biji per petak, berat kering brangkasan. Interaksi densitas dan teknik pengendalian gulma berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah polong isi per tanaman. Sedangkan interaksi ketiga kombinasi perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada semua parameter perlakuan.Hasil pengamatan berat biji per petak terendah pada kombinasi perlakuan V1D1G1(varietas kelinci dengan densitas tanaman 333,332 dan penyiangan 2 x ) sebesar 504.00 gram dan tertinggi pada kombinasi perlakuan V3D2G2 (varietas panter dengan densitas 250.000 dan pemakaian herbisida glifosfat ) sebesar 1382.20 gram.Kata kunci : densitas, varietas, kacang tanah

Abstract

Penelitian tentang “UJI MACAM BIBIT DAN DOSIS PUPUK KANDANG AYAM TERHADAP KERUSAKAN UMBI HAMA BOLENG (Cylas formicarius) PADA TANAMAN UBI JALAR” telah dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 01 November 2018 sampai tanggal 15 Pebruari 2019, bertempat di Dusun Tegalrejo, Desa Kuto, Kecamatn Kerjo, Kabuaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji macam bibit dan dosis pupuk kandang ayam terhadap kerusakan umbi hama boleng (Cylas formicarius) pada tanaman ubi jalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) terdiri dari 2 faktor : Faktor pertama adalah macam bibit (B), terdiri dari 2 macam, yaitu ; B1 : Bibit bagian pucuk, B2 : Bibit bagian batang. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kandang ayam (K),  terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu : K0 : 0,0  gram/tanaman, K1 : 176 gram/tanaman, K2 : 208 gram/tanaman, K3 : 240 gram/tanaman, K4 : 272 gram/tanaman Dari kedua faktor tersebut diperoleh 10 kombinasi perlakuan yang masing-masing diulang 3 kali sehingga keseluruhan diperoleh 30 kombinasi perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Ragam, dilanjutkan dengan Uji beda Nyata Jujur pada taraf nyata 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka dapat disusun kesimpulan yaitu penggunaan bibit bagian batang tidak berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan kerusakan pada umbi yang disebabkan hama boleng karena bibit bagian batang mempunyai struktur yang keras berbeda dengan bibit bagian pucuk yang mempunyai struktur lunak, rata-rata hasil parameter-parameter berikut menunjukkan bahwa intensitas serangan hama terendah terdapat pada perlakuan bibit bagian batang yaitu 22,37 %, jumlah ubi boleng terendah 0,58 ubi pertanaman, berat ubi boleng terendah terdapat pada perlakuan bibit bagian pucuk yaitu 71,64gram, berat ubi sehat tertinggi terdapat pada bagian batang yaitu 608,33 gram ,jumlah ubi sehat terendah 4,75 ubi pertanaman

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research about the effect of application time of purple nutsedge and spiny amaranth extracts on the growth and yield of tomato was conducted at Mojosongo Surakarta from March until June 2008.Research aimed was to know that the spiny amaranth (Amaranthus spinosus) had the effect as the purple nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus) and are there different of alellophatic activity on either weeds .Polybag experiment conducted in the plastic house,arranged in randomized complete block design [RCBD] with two factors and replicated three times.The first factor was special of weed,consisted of two levels; spiny amaranth and purple nutsedge.the second factor was time application of weed extract, consisted of three lefels; 2,4 and 6 weeks after planting. Result of the analysis showed that spiny amaranth had effect and alellopathic potential as the purple nutsedge. Extract of weed kind and application time of weeds extract did not affected on the growth of tomato. Application time of extract affected on yield of tomato. There were interaction between application time of extract  and kind of weeds. Key words : application time, weed extract , yield of tomato

PENGGUNAAN BEBERAPA TAKARAN DAN JENIS MULSA GULMA SERTA PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP EFISIENSI PENGENDALIAN GULMA DAN HASIL KEDELAI THE USING OF SOME DOSAGES AND KINDS OF WEED MULCH AND IT’S EFFECTS ON WEED CONTROL EFFICIENCY AND SOYBEAN YIELD   Kharis Triyono   Abstract A research has been conducted in Tegal Gedhe village, Karanganyar Regency Central Java started June 2010 until September 2010. The object of the research is to observe the using of some dosages and kinds of weed mulch on weed control efficiency and soybean yield. Randomized Completely Block Design was used by factorial with three replication . Dosages factors were : 7 , 14, and 21 ton ha-1. While kinds of weed mulch were : cogon grass, water hyacinth and in situ. The result showed that dosages and kinds of weed mulch individually , effect weed control efficiency at 21 and 42 DAP, number pod per plant, number seed per plant and seed dry yield. There were interaction between dosage and kinds of weed mulch on number seed per plant and seed dry yield. Dosages of weed mulch of cogon grass at 21 ton ha-1 could increase seed dry yield to 56 percent. Keywords : Weed mulch, cogon grass, water hyacinth, soybean

Abstract

ABSTRACT The experiment was conducted the study the effect of plant spacing and weed control methods on the growth and yield of soybean. The experiment was done from April to July 2009 in Jumantono Karanganyar Central Java. RCBD was used experiment with three replication. The plant spacing were 40 x 15 cm (J1) and 30 x 20 cm (J2). The four treatment of weed control methods were without weeding control (G0), twice weeding (G1), application of fomesafen herbicide (G2) and rice straw mulch (G3). The result showed that application of fomesafen herbicide decreased weed growyh and its dry weight ; and increased soybean yield. It was higher than another weed control The plant spacing effect leaves area at 6 week and soybean yield per plot. Key word : plant spacing, weed control method, soybean yield
