Abstract

This thesis entitled UNIAP attempt of dealing with Human Trafficking in Thailand. Human Trafficking rate in Thailand are increases over year. The victims are employed with low wage and even made a sexual worker. Thailand government has taken some attempt to deal with the human trafficking and humanity problem, one of which is to cooperate with The International Organization together with UNIAP, involve neighboring country such a Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam. The research method employed was Descriptive Qualitative Research; technique of collecting to this study. The theories used were International and Human Security theories. The result of the research used to against Human Trafficking in Thailand, UNIAP was also make an agreement with the MOU together with neighboring country. Prevention, do a campaign to raise awareness about Human Trafficking. Protection, do a rescue, identification, rehabilitation and legal assistance. Prosecution, enforce rules regarding Anti Trafficking in Persons Act B.E 2551 (2008). Keywords : Human Trafficking, Thailand, UNIAP.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Role of KPU in Surakarta City Election in order to Improve the Participation of Beginner Voters in 2019 Concurrent Elections. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive with case study method. Data collection techniques used are:(1) Field Study,(2) Documentation. In order to know the role of the Surakarta City KPU in this study the authors used 4 theoretical indicators resulting from a comparison between Gede Diva and Munir consisting of:(1) regulator,(2) catalyst,(3) coordinator,(4) Facilitator.The results of this study as a whole are said to be successful which can be demonstrated by the following results: (1) Activities related to elections are in accordance with existing policies seen from the role of the regulator,(2) Information provided to the KPU to the first time voters about elections can be accepted and understood by novice voters according to the role of the catalyst (3) The relationship or cooperation between the KPU and the Election Supervisory Body,democracy heroes,the community,schools,campuses,media colleagues (journalists) are well established in accordance with the role of the coordinator,(4) Complete facilities that support socialization activities and political education are in accordance with the role of the facilitator. Abstract

The One Stop Integrated Investment and Services Office (DPMPTSP) is a public organization that organizes public services, one of which is the service of trading business licenses. The problem with licensing services for trade business licenses in the city of Surakarta is that there are still many business actors who do not understand the one-stop online licensing system (OSS) due to lack of knowledge about the use of internet-based technology. Effectiveness is a benchmark for an organization in achieving its predetermined goals. To measure the effectiveness of trade business permit services in DPMPTSPSurakarta City uses a process approach according to Lubis and Martani Huseini which consists of 5 indicators namely service efficiency, service procedures, employee responsiveness, coordination between leaders and subordinates, and facilities and infrastructure. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, with data collection used are interviews, documentation and observation. The technique of determining the informants in this study uses purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the trade business permit services carried out by the DPMPTSPSurakarta City are quite effective. However, the responsiveness of employees in the responsiveness of employees to complaints from public must be increased even more, so that people do not feel employees in serving convoluted and confusing. The condition of infrastructure needs improvement because it also supports the comfort of the public. Keywords: Effectiveness, Service, Business Permit

Abstract

Karanganyar Regency’s Population and Civil Registration Office is the regional apparatus that responsible and authorized to carry out service in the area of population and civil registration. One of them is the making the Child Identity Card (KIA) as an effort by the government to protect and grant children’s rights. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used included (1) interviews, (2) observations, (3) documentation. In this study researchers measured the quality of service using the theory of Parasuraman, Zeithmal, and Berry, the results of research on the quality of KIA manufacturing services at the Population and Civil Registry Service in Karanganyar Regency can be said good enough, this can be seen with the results of the study as follows: (1) tangibles, the facilities in the waiting room are further improved and inadequate parking lots, (2) reliability has been said to be good, (3) responsiveness has generally been said to be good, (4) assurance has been said to be good and the community is satisfied with the services provided, but there are some obtstacles such as the card runs out, (5) emphaty, there are employees who are not friendly, polite and polite when the service is busy. Abstract

Partisipasi politik adalah salah satu indeks yang paling berpengaruh. dalam.suatu spektrum negara yang berasas system kerakyatan (demokrasi). Maksudnya adalah, dikatakan negara demokrasi bilamana penguasa (pemerintah yang berkuasa) memberikan, keleluasaan yang seluas-luasnya terhadap rakyat untuk andil atau berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan berpolitik. Pada saat pelaksanaan Pilpres tahun 2019 di tingkat kota Surakarta mutlak membutuhkan partisipasi politik seluruh kalangan masyarakat termasuk juga para penyandang disabilitas. Mengingat para penyandang disabilitas merupakan kelompok minoritas yang kurang diperhatikan keberadaanya. Selain itu juga para penyandang disabilitaspun kurang aktif dalam berpartisipasi disetiap kegiatan pemilu yang dilaksanakan di kota Surakarta mulai dari bergabung dalam kelompok kepentingan, kegiatan kampanye serta pemberin suara. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh karena adanya kurangnya pemahaman pendidikan politik di kalangan masyarakat terkait pentingnya partisipasi politik dikalangan penyandang disabilitas serta ketidakhadiran dari beberapa penyandang disabilitas dalam berpartisipasi politik. Penulisan dari skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi politik penyandang disabilitas dalam pilpres tahun 2019 di tingkat kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori bentuk partisipasi politik konvensional Abramson dan Hardwick. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi politik penyandang disabilitas dalam Pilpres tingkat kota Surakarta tahun 2019 adalah hanya berpartisipasi politik dalam kegiatan pemberian suara. Selain itu minimnya intensitas dari partisipasi politik penyandang disabilitas dalam bergabung tim sukses atau relawan demokrasi dan mengikuti kegiatan kampanye secara langsung. Agar para penyandang disabilitas berkenan untuk mengikuti kegiatan politik hendaknya para penyelenggara pemilu memberi fasilitas khusus misalnya kursi roda disetiap TPS untuk menunjang dalam kegiatan pemilu, memberi petugas khusus untuk penjemputan para penyandang disabilitas untuk menuju TPS, agar kegiatan pemilu menjadi salah satu kegiatan yang adil untuk segala kalangan termasuk penyandang disabilitas. Jumlah DPT penyandang sebanyak 1042 dan hanya sebanyak 529 orang yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam pilpres tahun 2019 ditingkat kota Surakarta dengan keseluruhan persentase sebanyak 51%. Kata kunci: Partisipasi Politik, Penyandang Disabilitas.

Abstract

This study describes and analyzes the effect of the Korean Wave on the South Korea tourism sector in 2015-2018. Researchers use Commodification of Culture and Touism Concept as theories in conducting research. This study aims to find out how Korean Wave, a culture, can influence the tourism sector in South Korea. The method that researchers use in this study is a qualitative method with secondary data sources. The study was conducted through the collection of documents with descriptive elaboration. From research data on the influence of the Korean Wave on the South Korean tourism sector, researchers found that the increasing popularity of the Korean Wave can influence interest in South Korea, thereby affecting someone to visit South Korea directly. Abstract

This research describes and analyse about the reformation of women’s rights in Saudi Arabia along with the announcement of Saudi Vision 2030. Saudi Vision 2030 made because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wants to end its economic liability on oil and gas reserve. This research uses liberal feminism and constructivism theory. The purpose of this research is to establish about how Saudi Vision 2030 made few changes on the reformation of Saudi women’s rights. This research uses qualitative method with secondary data collection and uses descriptive method. From the data collected, the writer analyses that Saudi Vision 2030 has made some mignificant changes to Saudi women’s rights with some new policies made through 2017-2019 period of time which more gender friendly to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 so that Saudi Arabia no longer depending its economic sector on oil and gas reserves. Abstract

This study discusses about the separatist conflict in Marawi, South Philippines in 2016-2017. The failure of the peace process in the Philippines encouraged the growth of terrorism into the ASG and the Maute Group that wanted to establish a wilayat in Marawi as a fortess of ISIS in Southeast Asia. This effort triggered a battle with the Philippines military. The purpose of this study is to describe how the separatist conflict in Marawi City, southern Philippines developed. This research uses qualitative method with interviews as primary data and literature study as secondary data. In this study the author used conflict theory and conflict mapping theory. The result of this research is Moro Muslims feel discriminated against by the Philippine government because of religious differences, bad experiences in the past have triggering formed of Muslim separatist groups in the Philippines, and the entry of ISIS ideology in the ASG and Maute Groups. Abstract

This research analyzes and seeks the role of the US superhero industry for US public diplomacy. The comic industry is one of the industries and popular culture in the United States that continues to increase from year to year, up to the modern era like now. The role of the United States government in utilizing the superhero comic industry as a tool of public diplomacy made the comic industry make a big impression in conveying the good image of the United States. This research was examined using the theory of public diplomacy and mass media collected in public diplomacy. This research discusses the superhero comic industry and aims to study its role in US public diplomacy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with secondary data sources. From this study, the authors found research in the United States involved in the superhero comics industry in carrying out public diplomacy. Because of the nature and characteristics of superhero comics that are very easily accepted by the international community, the United States government requires public diplomacy. Abstract

Indonesia as an agricultural country is certainly very closely related to its superior products in the form of palm oil which is a determinant of the plantation sector. Palm oil is one of Indonesia's main assets and commodities. The highs and lows of the Indonesian economy are also affected by a small amount of palm oil which is exported or consumed by the domestic community. The European Union is an area where Indonesian palm oil is exported. The level of consumption of palm oil in Indonesia reaches 20%. In the development of the production and consumption of Indonesian palm oil is not always smooth, there are many challenges faced. One of these challenges is the black camping effort or black campaign efforts undertaken, by the European Union. Issues launched are that Indonesian oil palm plants are not environmentally friendly, social conflicts and climate change occur. To deal with these challenges, researchers took data in oil-statistics and the United States Department of Agriculture in 1999-2016. Using the literature study method or through literature review, the results show that social conflict, environmental unrest and climate change, are not derived from oil palm plants which is being planned and developed by Indonesia, but factors. Therefore, through this research, the writer gives a suggestion that Indonesia can open trade through South Asia and in the region, of course with promising quality of palm oil and also with various policies implemented so that trade politics is no longer used as a tool to reap profits by the state -other countries.
