The Biblio Couns Journal is a scientific journal in the field of Counseling and Education studies. The journal is published in three editions published a year, namely march, july, august. Biblio Couns is published by the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra, and in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Associations (ABKIN) with E-ISSN: 2620-3103. The purpose of the journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of counseling and education in all settings. The scope of the journal includes applications of school counseling, mental health, assessment, supervision in counseling, sexual harassment, violence supplementary counseling, multi-cultural counseling, crisis intervention, trauma counseling, ITC in counseling, career counseling, spiritual counseling, marriage and family counseling, counseling and psychotherapy, counseling in all backgrounds; Education (teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies and new technologies in education and learning, assessment). It was first published in 2018.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a proper guidance and counseling module that can be used by counselor as a media to develop assertive behavior. Aims of this research is to: produce guidance and counseling module to develope assertive behavior that is valid in contents and apperance and describes the usefulness level of the guidance and counseling module to develop assertive behavior. The method use was ADDIE model development. Subject trial consisted of 3 experts to test feasibility, 5 counselors, and 30 students to test usefulness of the module. This research was conducted by trying out the product and group discussion. The data were analyzed by using statistics descriptive and nonparametric analysis. Based on these result showed that the guidance and counseling module to developed students assertive behavior is valid in contents and appearance. The usefulness level of the guidance and counseling assertive behavior module was in very good category.

Abstract

Bimbingan dan Konseling bertujuan untuk membantu peserta didik agar dapat mencapai tujuan perkembangannya yang meliputi aspek pribadi-sosial, belajar dan karier. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam melaksanakan bimbingan dan konseling bagi siswa di SD Inpres Labat, Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Tempat penelitian di SD Inpres Labat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur. Data dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian, Guru PAK telah melakukan perannya sebagai pembimbing, mengenal karakter siswa melalui catatan tentang diri siswa serta bersama dengan guru lain membangun kerja sama lewat komunikasi untuk lebih memahami siswa, mempelajari minat dan kebutuhan siswa sehingga ditempuh pula upaya penyesuaian dengan program pembelajaran pendidikan di sekolah yang dibentuk oleh Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG), demi lancarnya proses belajar mengajar. Terkait dengan pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling, guru PAK mampu memahami lingkungan belajar siswa, sehingga guru melakukan upaya pencegahan terjadinya masalah dan tercipta lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Jika siswa bermasalah, guru PAK memberi bantuan baik terkait aspek belajar, pribadi sosial dan karir. Selain itu, guru membantu siswa dalam memilih dan terlibat kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, misalnya kegiatan pramuka, Paduan Suara, menari dan drum band. Guru PAK juga membantu siswa dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan sekolah serta memperbaiki pikiran dan tindakannya yang salah untuk menjadi individu yang baik guna tercapainya pertumbuhan dan perkembangan siswa yang optimal yang berujung pada upaya menjaga diri dan mempertahankan suasana kondusif dalam diri siswa tersebut.

Abstract

Communication is a bridge to connect human being. Through communication relationships will be established among people. People will always carry out the process of communication with others during their lifetime. This communication process is not a difficult to do for those who do not experience hearing limitation, but it will become a more complex process for people with hearing impairment. Limitations in listening to sound stimulus make the communication process a little hampered because people with hearing impairment become more difficult to be able to understand the contents of the conversation spoken by the other people. The ability to understand the meaning of what is uttered by the other people in the communication process is called receptive communication. Failure in receptive communication will have an impact on other developments such as in terms of psychological, social, intelligence and economic development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the reflective maternal method on receptive communication skills of students with hearing impairment. The method used was quasy experimental with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study based on the Mann-Whitney test were obtained by Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.002 with an error level of 0.05 then 0.002 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted, so there is a significant difference between the control group and the experimental group. In conclusion, the reflective maternal method influences the improvement of receptive communication on students with hearing impairment.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce Guidance and Counseling media with Malay ethnic local wisdom, which focused on reinforcing the identity of Pontianak youth. The phenomenon of adolescents in Pontianak does not recognize the inheritance of local wisdom values that influenced behavior and lifestyle. The paradigm in this research was social constructivism, focusing on the nature of change that took place continuously and structured. The method in this study used a compiled Hermeneutic type qualitative approach, examines the text and context of the local wisdom of the Malay ethnic, namely Saprahan. This aimed to find the potential elements forming the identity of Pontianak youth. The validity system used was by Triangulation, Intersubjectivity Validation, and peer review. It was needed a media of Bibliocounseling with local wisdom that could illustrate the patterns of thought and the process of cultural internalization related to the control of the lifestyle of adolescents. Potential elements of local wisdom, Saprahan forming teen identity which containing in the Bibliocounseling media included religious identity, civilized, gathering (silaturahmi), unifying, harmonious in ethnicity, soul narrator, hard worker, sharing, firmness or strong soul, cooperation, friendship, authenticity, friendliness, and polite.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate the feasibility of guidance and counseling modules to prevent student stress in the covid-19 pandemic as well as ability by BK teachers/counselors in junior high school. This research method uses the ADDIE model. The study test subjects consisted of three experts to test eligibility, and three BK teachers/counselors. Instruments used are sklala likert, questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data of the results of the study was analyzed using descriptive analysis and nonparametric statistical analysis. The findings show that this guidance and counseling module can be utilized by BK teachers/counselors to assist teachers in preventing student stress during the covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between moral reasoning and school climate with bullying behavior in class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Ponorogo. The study population was all students of class XI and the sample amounted to 207 students who were divided into each class in all class XI. The measuring instrument uses a psychological scale of moral reasoning, a psychological scale of school climate and a psychological scale of bullying behavior. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between moral reasoning and school climate with bullying behavior among students of SMK Negeri 1 Ponorogo (p = 0.015) (R = 0.537) (F = 0.288). So that overall it can be concluded that the lower the moral reasoning, the higher the student's bullying behavior, the higher the school climate, the lower the student's bullying behavior, and the higher the moral reasoning and the school climate, the lower the student's bullying behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the differences stress between early and final year students in academics, This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive method, and the study population was students of Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculcity of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Prof.Dr.Hamka. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling. The sample obtained was 192 students, consisting of 98 early year students and 94 final year students. The academic stress instrument adopted from Sagita et., all (2017) consist of 34 items using a likert scale. The data findings were analysed using the independent sample t-test calculation. The result show that: (1) the academic stress of early year students is in the low category, (2) the academic stress between early year students and final years students.
