Abstract

Soybean plants are the most related food crops, and the demand for soybean production is getting higher, but there are obstacles that occur so that the productivity of soybean plantsdecreases over time. In this activity we use experimental methods. This research was conducted at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra and this activity was in accordance with a schedule that would take 4 months. By producing a product "ZINGO VUCAVA" which helps soybean farmers in eradicating the borer caterpillar pest so that the productivity produced in the future will increase. The product "VUCAVA ZINGO" is a pesticide made from natural ingredients, so it does not have a negative impact on the surrounding environment and health for consumers.

Abstract

Voerseri is a packaged bird feed made from singapore cherry. Voerseri is one of the developing businesses in the city of Medan. The financial feasibility analysis of the voerseri business is carried out to help the Voerseri Business see the feasibility of the development business that will be carried out. Some of the things studied in the financial feasibility analysis include variable costs, fixed costs, and business feasibility criteria which include Break Even Point (BEP), R / C ratio and B / C ratio. The result of the calculation of the financial viability of the Voerseri Business is that it will reach BEP by selling 79 units of products or Rp. 1,330,258 every month. The R / C value obtained is equal to 1.44, which means that this business is feasible to be cultivated while the B / C value obtained is equal to 0.44, which means that this business does not provide benefits to businessmen.

Abstract

Mobile phones or cellphones are one of the most developed communication technologies in the world. Many countries in the world are competing to produce cellphones. This happens because the demand from the market is so large. Mobile phone gloves or cellphone cases as one of the accessories used by consumers for a number of reasons, including protecting cellphones from abrasions, reducing the risk of falls, for style, etc. The aim of the study was to make people's mobile phones safer from the fall because the public now lacked protecting their own cellphones, and another goal was to determine the criteria for mobile gloves to suit the needs and desires of consumers. The type of research method chosen was descriptive analysis. the method that functions to describe or give an overview of the object under study through data or samples that have been collected as it is without doing analysis and making conclusions that apply to the public ... Income at phpcase.id is interpreted as the difference between the amount of revenue and costs incurred (total cost. Table 5 is a list of income from phpcase.id research results. Table 5. Average Business Income phpcase.id in medan city in 2019 that phpcase.id in Medan city earns income from the case business of Rp.5,200,000. Conclusion what can be taken is the product the average per pcs of the phpcase.id business in Medan city is 500 pcs with a selling price of Rp. 14,000 / pcs, the total business income of phpcase.id is Rp. 7,000,000, a variable that has a significant effect on phpcase.id's business income in the city Medan, namely raw materials, production costs and production results.

Abstract

Azolla is one type of algae plant that can be used as organic fertilizer, especially for rice cultivation. Azolla can be used as an organic fertilizer that is able to meet nutrient requirements, especially N for plants. Azolla's ability to provide N for plants is because in Azolla there are Cyanobacteria which then both do symbiotic mutualism. The second symbiosis is then called Anabaena azollae. Anabaena azollae can fix N2 freely in the air so that it can contribute to the need for N for plants in the soil.

Abstract

Rubber plants have a big role in Indonesia's economic life. Many people live by relying on rubber plantations as their business commodities and especially for those living in the countryside. The fruit of the Mengkudu is one of the plants that is rich in benefits. In addition to the medical world, the Mengkudu juice can also be utilized as one of the alternative ingredients for the use of latex acid replacement formiat. Acid content in the fruit of the mengkudu when mixed with latex, it will form coagulants. The coagulant is used in the form of a mengkudu fruit. The juice of the mengkudu that is used is the fruit juice of ripe mengkudu and juice Mengkudu peram. Coagulation using a yam cider starch is a natural-based coagulation that is safe for farmers despite the cyanide content (HCN) Business feasibility study is required to see a description of the feasibility or unworthiness of the business that will Done. The research aims to see if the BSR business as a rubber cilier is feasible or not to do. Every aspect that is said to be worthy should have a certain standard of value, but judgment is not only done in one aspect. The assessment for determining eligibility should be based on several aspects. The method used in this research is the method of SWOT analysis (strength, weaknesses, opportunities, threats), economic analysis of the business which includes: (Calculating the price of production, selling price, profit, and Ratio) and also using the way Marketing strategies that include: (Product strategy, pricing strategy, place strategy and also promotion strategy). From the results of the study showed that BSR business is worthy to run and has excellent prospects.

Abstract

In this era people prefer to use instant products. We found this problem during the survey for market opportunities. In addition there are several other problems such as: (1) The length of time in treatment. (2) Difficulty using the product. (3) Solid activity making it difficult to take the time to treat your face. We are here to solve this problem by creating a Folta Reper (Folium Tamarin Rice Paper) product. This product is an instant transparent mask that can be used anytime and anywhere by women and men. Using FOLTA REPER will not interfere with other activities. Made from natural ingredients: Sour leaves, honey and Rice Paper. The contents of FOLIUM TAMARIN RICE PAPER are: vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B, vitamin B12 and vitamin D. The benefits of removing pimples, making faces brighter, preventing premature aging, lifting dead cells, lifting dead cells , whitening the face, cooling the skin, spreading the face minimizes pores, smooths the skin and removes smallpox scars on the face. The purpose of this study is to study and analyze "marketing strategies in marketing in the Folta Reper Student Mask business, so that they can find solutions to the problems faced. This study uses an analytical descriptive method by classifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and establishing marketing strategies that match the marketing mix. The conclusion of this study is the identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats possessed by the product and the intensification of several business strategies through a marketing mix approach.

Abstract

One of the technological tools that can not be separated from people's lives is cellphones, but the consequences of increasingly sophisticated technological tools are the higher power requirements. Current technology has developed into portable tools, namely tools that do not need to be connected directly to the main source of electric current but use the power stored in the battery, FREE POWER is a business that is engaged in Powerbank, where the product of the power source Free Power utilizes magnetic energy generator that can be used continuously without having to worry about running out of power. The types and sources of data used in this study are qualitative, the data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. FREE POWER in the form of an innovative charging device on a smartphone by utilizing a magnetic generator that has the advantage of being able to charge continuously without having to recharge. With a cheaper price compared to a power bank. FREE POWER is the right solution to support the smooth use of the smartphone itself, so that the operation is not constrained due to the depletion of the smartphone battery used. And for consumers themselves are intended for teenagers to adults.

Abstract

Coffee farming opportunities, if well developed, will have an impact on increasing business performance. One of the efforts that can be done is building quality human resources based on entrepreneurial characteristics. Entrepreneurial characteristics are thought to have a significant influence on the occurrence of farm performance improvement. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of entrepreneurship, the performance of coffee farming and analyze the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics on the performance of Arabica coffee farming in Karo Regency Respondents used as the sample of this study were taken using cluster random sampling techniques from three districts with a total of 120 respondents of Arabica coffee farmers. The analytical tool used in this research is descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of research on farm performance variables are significant and positive influenced by the characteristics of entrepreneurship. Variable characteristics that have a positive effect are experience, desire to do business, perception and courage to take risks. The most dominant characteristic of entrepreneurship is the desire to do business, but overall it can be said to be strong.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (PTPN IV) is palm oil plantation that has the highest productivity among the company's state-owned palm oil plantation in Sumatra. With the high productivity is owned by PTPN IV indicates the fact that PTPN IV has a level of efficiency that is also the highest. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to measure the efficiency of palm oil plantations in PTPN IV to analyze the level of efficiency of production in PTPN IV, knowing efficiency of PTPN IV based on the age of the plant and land suitability classes, and increasing the efficiency of palm oil plantations that are not efficient. To answer these objectives, this research uses data from a panel of 27 business units in the palm oil plantation of PTPN IV by the use of existing data envelopment analysis (DEA) model and a different test.The results showed, palm oil plantations in PTPN IV efficient of all palm oil plantation unit amounting to 19.26 percent from 2011 to 2015. The palm oil plantation shows the inputs used efficiently balanced with the resulting output. Palm oil plantations that have plants age 4-14 and over 14 years shows a comparison of age above 14 years the plant has a high level of efficiency. That is because the use of labor input, the amount of fertilizer, the principal amount, and the land area is more balanced. The use of the balanced input also occurred in palm oil plantations on land suitability classes 1 compared to oil palm plantations on land suitability classes S2 and S3.Efforts to improve efficiency can be done by providing motivation to work, pay attention to the labor factor, especially energy harvesting. Efforts to increase the efficiency of both lands fertilization based on a recommendation that has been set and achieve 100 percent fertilization. Efforts to increase the efficiency of third Socfind varieties that have higher productivity levels for planting in palm oil plantations in conformity S2 and S3 land classes could increasing basic and land productivity.

Abstract

Red rice has long been known to be beneficial to health as well as staple food, but red rice is generally less popular as a staple food, red rice is also limited in the market and the price is relatively higher compared to white rice. Consumers' decision to consume red rice does not just happen, given that most Indonesians are used to consuming white rice. There are several factors that influence consumer decisions before making a decision to purchase red rice. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of reference group  and lifestyle on the attitudes and decisions of consumers to buy red rice in the city of Medan. The number of samples in this study were 100 people using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using path analysis. The result of the research showed  the reference group did not have a positive and significant effect on the attitudes of consumers to buy red rice in the city of Medan, the reference group did not have a positive and significant effect on consumers 'decision to buy red rice in Medan, the reference group indirectly had no positive influence on consumers' decision to buy red rice in Medan through attitude as an intervening variable, lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on the attitudes of consumers to buy red rice in the city of Medan, lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on consumers 'decision to buy red rice in the city of Medan, lifestyle indirectly had a positive and significant influence on consumers' decision to buy red  rice in the city of Medan through attitude as an intervening variable and attitude had a positive and significant effect on the decision of consumers to buy red rice in the city of Medan
