Abstract

This study uses a weighted index model and a productivity model where Aceh Province is the province with the highest weighted ranking value with a weighted value of 2.06, meaning that Aceh Province to obtain 1 ton of palm oil requires an average area of 2.06ha. Meanwhile, North Sumatra Province is the province with the lowest weighted index value when compared to other Sumatra Provinces, namely with a weighted value of 3.62, meaning that to obtain 1 ton of palm oil, an area of 3.62 Ha is needed. The highest productivity of palm oil production is in Aceh Province at 49.16% while the lowest palm oil production productivity is in North Sumatra Province at 27.98%. The strategy to increase the added value of palm oil production in Sumatra Province is through mapping of smallholder and company palm oil production areas, regulations for the sustainability of palm oil production, provision of subsidized fertilizer assistance for oil palm farmers, especially smallholder farmers and supervision and assistance to oil palm farmers in selecting seeds and processing land.

Abstract

Economic support in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic is MSMEs. The aims of the study is to empirically test the influence of educational background, business size and financial literacy on the financial planning of MSMEs in South Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses primary data with quantitative research types using WarpPLS 7.0, the sample in this study is MSMEs spread in the South Surabaya area. Data collection is carried out by questionnaires distributed directly by researchers to MSMEs in the South Surabaya Region using random sampling methods. Hypothesis testing is looking at the probability value (p-value). This study found that educational background and financial literacy had a significant effect on the financial planning of MSMEs in South Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. This phenomenon shows that education background and financial literacy are important factors for MSMEs in South Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic in conducting financial planning

Abstract

Earnings management is one of the manager's actions in attaching financial statements that are not based on facts. This research seeks to determine, analyze, and test the impact of managerial ownership, profitability, leverage, and company size on the earnings management. Population in this research is manufacturing company sub sector textile and garment listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2017 until 2020. This research has 22 companies population selection of sample by using purpsive sampling method and there are 11 companies that meet the required sample criteria. The method used in this study is multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership, profitability, leverage have no signifcant effect on earnings management, while company size has a significant negative on earnings management.

Abstract

Local revenue is one of the main sources in carrying out development in each region. Regions cannot rely on funding sources from the center due to the limited funds they have. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of workers, consumer price index, investment, and the regional minimum wage on the original income of the Regency or City in Central Java in 2017-2020 by using panel data regression. The results with the Fixed Effects approach show that the number of workers has a negative effect on regional original income and the regional minimum wage has a positive effect on regional original income. Meanwhile, investment and the consumer price index were found to have no effect on the original income of districts or cities in Central Java Province in 2016-2020. The government is expected to improve the economy so that it can attract investors to invest their capital. In addition, the control of commodity prices for goods and services needs to be improved so that the public can still reach the rising prices.

Abstract

Regional autonomy is a policy in which the government system shifts from a centralized system to a decentralized one. The increase in the Balancing Fund is expected to be followed by an increase in regional fiscal independence in the form of a significant increase in Local Revenue (PAD) as a reflection of regional independence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Regional Expenditure, Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH), General Allocation Funds (DAU) on Regional Original Revenues in Central Java Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with a regression test. The results showed that the allocation of Regional Expenditures and Revenue Sharing Funds have a positive effect on Regional Original Revenues, while the General Allocation Funds have a negative effect on Regional Original Revenues.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of tax knowledge, self-assessment system, Fiscal Service, and e-Filing on taxpayer compliance. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study is 4,975 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises that are active and registered during 2021 at KPP Pratama Klaten. The research sample was 100 respondents, with simple random sampling method. This study uses a questionnaire in data collection. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results showed that tax knowledge, self-assessment system and tax service services had a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance, while e- Filing had no effect on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

Educated unemployment is someone who has completed his education but has not found a job. The number of educated unemployed in Indonesia fluctuates from year to year, many factors influence it. This study aims to determine the effect of each independent variable, namely economic growth, inflation, investment and population growth rate on the dependent variable, namely educated unemployed university graduates in Indonesia. The data used in this study is quantitative secondary data with a time series in 2005-2021 obtained from the (BPS), NSWI and Bank Indonesia. The analytical tool used is OLS (Ordinary Least Square) analysis. The results of the effect validity test (t test) show that the independent variables that have an influence on the open unemployment rate for university graduates in Indonesia in 2005-2021 are Inflation and Population Growth. Meanwhile, the variables of economic growth and investment have no effect on the open unemployment rate for university graduates in Indonesia in 2005-2021.

Abstract

The application of accountability and transparency ini budget performance with the concept of value for money in government organizations is important to study. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of accountability, transparency on budget performance with the concept of value for money and organizational commitment as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with the subject of anlysis are employees of the financial sector in BPKAD East Java, totaling 40 employees. The data analysis technique used WarpPLS 7.0. This study proves that the implementation of the value for money concept of budget performance is strongly supported by accountability and transparency. This illustrates that accountability and transparency can support better value for money concept budget perfmance.

Abstract

This study examines the problem of payment methods via QR codes at Palembang Square Mall.  The purpose of this research is to find out how many visitors to Palembang Square mall (PS Mall) use the QRIS code as an alternative payment method and to find out the barriers to PS Mall visitors using the QRIS code in terms of availability, effectiveness and efficiency, and the promos offered when using the QRIS code. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomology strategy.  The results of the study were used as evaluation material for outlet owners at PS Mall to increase the interest of PS Mall visitors as well as Palembang city consumers in using QRIS as an alternative payment method.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of compensation and the role of trade unions on employee job satisfaction, to determine the effect of job satisfaction on productivity and to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of compensation and the role of trade unions on productivity. This study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Indonesian DEW. While the sample used in this study is a saturated sample of 80 respondents. Data collection techniques by means of questionnaires and data analysis techniques using instrument test, classical assumption test, path analysis, t-test and F-count test. The results of the study show that there is an effect of compensation on employee job satisfaction, there is an influence of the role of the union on employee job satisfaction, there is an influence between compensation on employee work productivity, there is an influence of the role of the union on employee work productivity, there is an influence of job satisfaction on employee work productivity, there are the effect of compensation and the role of unions simultaneously on employee job satisfaction, there is an influence between compensation, the role of unions and job satisfaction simultaneously on employee work productivity.
