Abstract

This study examines the effects of store atmosphere, service quality, and customer experience on repurchase intention among customers of Fore Coffee’s Jalan Sulawesi outlet in Surabaya. A quantitative associative design with purposive sampling was applied to 111 respondents who had purchased at least twice in the previous six months. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression in IBM SPSS Statistics 25, including instrument testing, classical assumption tests, t-tests in the simultaneous model, an F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that store atmosphere, service quality, and customer experience have positive and significant effects on repurchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. Customer experience is the strongest predictor, followed by service quality and store atmosphere. The R² value of 0.589 indicates that 58.9% of the variance in repurchase intention is explained by the three independent variables. These findings highlight the need for coffee shop retention strategies to center on managing the overall customer experience, supported by consistent service quality and a comfortable store atmosphere.

Abstract

Competition in Indonesia’s cup instant-noodle market has intensified, as reflected in the decline of Pop Mie’s Top Brand Index from 56.10 in 2023 to 22.40 in 2024. This study examines the effects of product innovation, product availability, and a healthy lifestyle on purchase decisions and repurchase of Pop Mie in Surabaya. Promotion was initially specified in the model but was removed due to multicollinearity with product innovation. A quantitative covariance-based SEM-AMOS approach with maximum likelihood estimation was applied to 126 purposively selected consumers. The final model met goodness-of-fit criteria after respecification. Product innovation has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions but a negative and significant effect on repurchase. Product availability positively and significantly affects both outcomes. A healthy lifestyle has no significant effect on either outcome. Purchase decisions exert a positive and very strong effect on repurchase. The total effect of innovation on retention is nearly neutral because of inconsistent mediation, whereas product availability is the strongest predictor of repurchase. The findings indicate that innovation is more effective as a trial trigger, while repurchase depends more on on-shelf availability and the strength of the prior purchase decision.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of product, place, and promotion on purchase decision, customer satisfaction, brand image, and repurchase among customers of Mr. Suprek Surabaya. A quantitative survey of 100 respondents who had purchased Mr. Suprek products was analyzed using covariance-based structural equation modeling with maximum likelihood estimation in AMOS. Price was excluded from the model because of multicollinearity. Place and promotion have positive and significant effects on purchase decision, whereas product does not. Product and purchase decision increase customer satisfaction, while place and promotion do not. Brand image is shaped by product and place, but not by promotion or satisfaction. Repurchase is significantly influenced only by brand image. The findings separate acquisition from retention: place and promotion matter more for the first visit, product matters more for satisfaction and image, and brand image is the main pathway to repurchase. Managers of Mr. Suprek should therefore distinguish tactics that attract customers from tactics that keep them.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of family environment, self-confidence, and social media utilization on online entrepreneurial interest among Management students at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, Yogyakarta. A quantitative associative approach was employed with a sample of 90 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed by multiple linear regression after validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results show that self-confidence has a positive and significant effect on online entrepreneurial interest and is the dominant predictor. Family environment has a positive but insignificant effect at the 5 percent level, while social media utilization is insignificant and negatively signed. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect and explain 22.4 percent of the variation in interest. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-confidence and using social media productively to foster students’ online entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

Demand for high-quality fruit in modern retail is rising, yet prices at a premium outlet such as Hokky Graha Family remain higher than those at comparable supermarkets. This study describes the socioeconomic characteristics of consumers and estimates their maximum average willingness to pay (WTP) for apples, grapes, and oranges. Primary data were collected from 50 consumers in December 2024 using accidental sampling. Consumer characteristics were analyzed descriptively, while WTP was estimated using the contingent valuation method with a bidding-game technique. The results show that 84% of respondents were willing to pay above the prevailing market price. Most consumers were women (80%), aged 25–64 years (62%), married (64%), high-school graduates (68%), private-sector employees (44%), and earned IDR 4–10 million per month (62%). Among respondents willing to pay a premium, average WTP was IDR 117,738.09/kg for apples (+14.8%), IDR 144,261.90/kg for grapes (+11.3%), and IDR 98,023.81/kg for oranges (+17.3%). Willingness to pay clustered at a 10% premium. The findings indicate limited room for price adjustment; increases above 20% sharply reduce the number of willing buyers.
