<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the process of communication interaction within group discussion based on gender in Mathematics’ study particularly straight-line equations. The research was carried out at 8th grade in SMP Negeri 1 Driyorejo The research involves two kind of subject namely the women's group and the men's group which each group consisted of three students and is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. There are three stages in collecting students’ data: interview before the class started, record each conversation during the group discussion, and interview after the learning process. In terms of validity of the research, those data are checked using time triangulation. The results show that women’s group are more active during discussion compare with man’s group. While all member in women’s group communicated actively in solving problem, some of men’s member contributed in solving problem in worksheet]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of students' negative views on mathematics causes anxiety and procrastination. This study aims to determine the effect of mathematical anxiety and academic procrastination on mathematics learning outcomes in class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Balikpapan. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with survey method. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Balikpapan, as many as 362 students and a total sample of 72 students. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. Instruments used in this study was questionnaires and test. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with simultaneous test (F test) and partial test (t-test). The results obtained a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05, it could be concluded that there was a significant influence of mathematics anxiety and academic procrastination on mathematics learning outcomes of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Balikpapan. The results of the study showed that mathematics anxiety had a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes with a significance value of 0,023 < 0,05. Then, academic procrastination has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes with a significance value of 0,012 < 0,05.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the written mathematics communication of students with low mathematical ability in solving HOTS problems based on gender. This research is a qualitative research because the main data about the accuracy, completeness, and fluency of written mathematics communication in the form of written words. The research subjects were 2 students with low mathematical ability in class XI MIPA MAN 1 Lamongan consisting of one male and female student. The results showed that there were slight differences in the written mathematics communication of male and female students in the fluency of the information conveyed.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical reasoning in solving problems in cube and beam material in terms of independent and dependent field cognitive styles. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection method is carried out by the test and questionnaire method. The study was conducted by giving 2 written test items about solving cube and beam problems as well as a questionnaire of independent and field dependent cognitive style tests at the beginning and end of the study. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion / verification. The results of the study show: (1) the test results of students' mathematical reasoning questions with independent field cognitive style on cube and beam material are able to pass 4 indicators better than students with field dependent cognitive style; (2) the test results of students' mathematical reasoning questions with the field dependent cognitive style on the cube and beam material are only able to go through 2 lower indicators than students with independent field cognitive style.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of student’s mathematical disposition in solving story sequence and sequence problem through the learning model LAPS Heuristic assisted by Whatsapp messenger. this type of research is an esperiment with a quantitative approach. Data collection method is done by the method of test and questionnaire. The study was conducted by giving 4 items of pretest and posttest regarding the settlement of row and series problems and a mathematical disposition questionnaire at the beginning and end of the study. The data analysis echnique used is the normaity test, the homogeneity test and the average difference test. Theresult of the study indicate: (1) there are differences in the achievement of learning outcomes and student’s mathematical disposition in solving story sequence questions and sequencesthrough learning LAPS Heuristic of Whatsapp assisted with conventional learning; (2) there is a difference in the improvement of learning outcomes and the mathematical disposition of students in solving story sequence questions and sequence through the learning model assisted by the whatsapp application.]]>

<![CDATA[Ditinjau dari cara pemerolehan pengetahuan oleh siswa, ada dua arus besar dalam teori pembelajaran. Kedua kelompok tersebut adalah aliran behaviorisme dan aliran konstruktivisme. Aliran behaviorisme sering dipandang sebagai aliran yang sudah usang (out of date), Aliran konstruktivisme saat ini banyak dianut oleh para ahli maupun kalangan praktisi pendidikan. Pertentangan dua paham ini tidak seharusnya terjadi. Secara objektif seharusnya perlu dilihat kontribusi masing-masing aliran tersebut dalam membangun kompetensi siswa. Kedua paham ini dapat digunakan secara proporsional serta sesuai kebutuhan dan tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan dalam kurikulum yang berlaku. Model ARIFIN adalah sebuah model pembelajaran temuan penulis, dengan langkah-langkah: action, reflection, interaction, formalization, interconnection, dan narration, dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif sebagai konduktor dalam upaya membangun rekonsiliasi antara kedua aliran tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to increase student activities and improve student achievement by using the method of application of graphic media chart pie. Data analysis techniques using kwantitative and qualitative discrete analysis techniques. This research process is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) implementation, (4) observation and reflesi. The subjects of the study were students of grade VII B SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran Lamongan in the 2020/2021 school year numbering 25 students. The results of this study showed an increase in student activities in learning activities and also showed an increase in student achievement, thus the application of graphic media application method chart pie used in the learning of mathematics subjects operational subject fractional numbers.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses students' understanding of the completion of HOTS based on the SOLO taxonomy. When understanding the concepts of students being analyzed namely (1) restate the concept, (2) classify objects based on certain traits, (3) use and utilize and choose certain procedures or operations, (4) 5) provide examples and not examples of an concept, (6) developing the necessary or sufficient requirements of a concept, (7) applying a concept or logarithm in problem solving. The subjects of this study were 15 students of MTs Model A'isyatul Wahidah class VIII which were divided into 3 levels: unistructural, multistructural and relational. The questions given consist of 2 essay questions (descriptions) that meet HOTS indicators and concept understanding. From this test can be seen indicators of understanding the concept. Each data obtained was analyzed in a descriptive form.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan mengetahui profil kemampuan penalaran induktif yang dapat diperoleh sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa. Kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa perlu dikembangkan untuk memberikan pengalaman dalam membuktikan suatu teorema yang sering ditemukan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MA Sunan Ampel Kebet Lamongan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal tes dan wawancara. Pengolahan data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk menjelaskan jawaban, siswa masih menggunakan argument mereka sendiri. Untuk generalisasi rumus, siswa dapat menemukan rumus umum dan belum mampu menemukan jawaban akhir. Siswa belum mampu menjelaskan kembali maksud dari masalah tersebut dengan lengkap, baik informasi yang diberikan dan yang ditanyakan pada soal. Tetapi, siswa mampu membandingkan kesesuaian informasi yang diperoleh dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki sebelumnya.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze book errors in the material of Linear Equations and provide alternative solutions. The results of this study can be used as consideration in improving the book. This type of research is descriptive analytical research that describes a problem and the results are analyzed to find conclusions. The results showed that there were still some errors in the Junior High School Mathematics book for Linear Equations. These errors are spelling and writing errors, computational errors, problem errors and conceptual errors. The error is then given an alternative solution for further book development.]]>
