Abstract

Purpose – The empirical studies regarding the effect of cyberloafing behavior on employee performance have been widely studied. However, the results of the studies still show inconclusive results. Based on this research gap, this study was conducted to re-examine the influence of role stressors and work stress in explaining cyberloafing behavior that impacts employee performance.  Methodology – The test was carried out to examine the empirical model and research hypothesis using the Structural Equation Modeling approach. Employees who work in various industries whose companies are located in the city of Semarang are the respondents of this research collected using a questionnaire consisting of statements developed from variable measurement indicators using closed answers with alternative answers provided on a scale of 1-10. Findings – The test results show that the role stressor has a significant positive effect on work stress. The test results also show that role stressors has proven to have a significant positive effect on cyberloafing behavior, while work stress cannot prove its effect. The research also proves that cyberloafing behavior has a real effect in explaining employee performance. Originality – This research studies the empirical effect of cyberloafing behavior which has not been done by previous research.

Abstract

Purpose – This study was conducted to analyze the influence of marketing mix strategy on performance through E-CRM and risk perception of COVID-19. Methodology – The study used a quantitative approach and the processed data was obtained from 302 MSME actors who have operated digitally for over three years in Indonesia. Furthermore, the data analysis was carried out using the Path Analysis. Findings – The results showed that marketing mix strategy could influence performance, independently or through E-CRM and Risk Perception of COVID-19. Meanwhile, Electronic-Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) showed a strong influence on marketing performance. Even though mix strategy could influence an increase in performance, the impact showed a higher rate with E-CRM activities and consideration towards risk perception of the pandemic. Originality – This analysis was important because of the low study related to marketing performance in Indonesian MSME 4.0. Furthermore, this was the first study to investigate the effect of marketing mix strategy, E-CRM, and risk perception of the pandemic on performance in one model.

It is also demonstrated that psychological capital and relatedness have positive influences on job engagement, while burnout has a negative influence on job engagement. It cannot be proven that competence has a negative influence on burnout and a positive influence on job engagement. It was also found that burnout can mediate the relationship between workload, psychological capital, autonomy, and relatedness to job engagement. Still, it cannot mediate the relationship between competence and job engagement. Originality – Studies related to job demand resources in the public sector are very limited and are mostly conducted in the healthcare sector. This research also considered the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Purpose sampling which focuses on culinary SMEs is adopted, specifically in Batam City, and has been operating for at least 3 years. Findings – The result showed a significant impact of CA, TC, LC, and RC on the SP of SMEs in Batam City. Furthermore, there is no significant influence from BMI, and LC is identified as a mediating factor in the relationship between TC and SP. Originality – The research reports the latest information and analysis related to factors that can help SMEs maintain their SP. These include the absence of the role of BMI and the discovery of the mediating impact of LC and TC on the SP of SMEs.

Purpose - This research examines the influence of people's intention to use QRIS by taking variables from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived trust, attitude towards usage of QRIS and behavioral intention to use QRIS. Methodology - This research method uses a quantitative approach with a sampling technique chosen through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to QRIS users. Data analysis employed SmartPLS version 4 with a sample size of 100 respondents. Findings - The results show a positive relationship but not a significant effect between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use QRIS. Meanwhile, perceived trust and attitude towards usage of QRIS exhibited a positive relationship and had a significant effect. Originality – Trust is an influential variable and plays a significant role in using a technology such as QRIS.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to determine the factors that affect the intention of Muslim students to adopt mobile banking (m-banking) services at Islamic banks. Methodology – This study included a sample of 336 Muslim students employed by Islamic banks as respondents. The model incorporates 11 constructs: perceived risk (PR), perceived trust (PT), habit (HA), compatibility (CO), perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEU), effort expectancy (EE), performance expectancy (PE), facilitating conditions (FC), social influence (SI), and intention to adopt m-banking (IN). It is a combination of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) and the technology acceptance model (TAM). Findings – Muslim students’ intention to adopt mobile banking was positively influenced by perceived usefulness, performance expectancy, and facilitating conditions. Nevertheless, the intention of Muslim students to adopt mobile banking remains unaffected by factors such as perceived ease of use, effort expectancy, or social influence. Perceived ease of use and perceived trust affect perceived usefulness, while perceived risk, perceived risk, habit, and compatibility affect perceived ease of use. Originality – This study employs the TAM-UTAUT model, which consists of 11 components, to determine the intention of Muslim students towards using mobile banking.
