Abstract

Technology is rapidly advancing in society and the workplace. PT Perkebunan NusantaraIX (PTPN IX), which operates in the management and marketing of plantationcommodities, has utilized technology to facilitate the presentation of downstream productinformation through a dynamic website. The PTPN IX website plays a crucial role inpresenting the company's latest information. However, the PTPN IX website has neverundergone a usability testing process. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the quality ofthe website in supporting its role and functions. The results of the observations indicate thatseveral users experience problems when accessing the website. To analyze these issues,heuristic evaluation methods were used to identify usability problems on the website, andthe System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess the system's feasibility. This method involved3 evaluators and 100 users to evaluate the website based on 10 heuristic aspects, whichwere mapped into sub-aspects according to their severity levels. The overall evaluationresults indicated categories of cosmetic issues and minor usability problems. This studyidentified 10 problems and provided recommendations for improving the PTPN IXwebsite. The improvement recommendations aim to optimize the website system to betterfulfill its role and function as an information provider platform related to local commodityproducts for all elements of society.

Abstract

This study discusses the design and development of a web-based application for malariadisease detection using Computer Vision. The main objective of this research is to developa system that can assist medical personnel in detecting malaria infections more quickly andaccurately by utilizing computer vision technology. The proposed system employs theConvolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm to analyze microscopic erythrocyteimages obtained from blood samples. Malaria image data used in this study were collectedfrom various online sources as well as through direct observation in hospitals.The systemdevelopment process begins with the collection of malaria image data, which is thenprocessed through preprocessing stages to enhance data quality and prepare it for modeltraining. Once the data is ready, the CNN model is trained using augmented training datato improve the model's generalization. Model evaluation is conducted using test data tomeasure the accuracy and performance of the model in detecting malaria.Evaluation results indicate that the developed CNN model has high accuracy in detecting malaria infections,with satisfactory precision, recall, and F1-score values. The system is also capable ofgenerating detection reports and visualizations that facilitate medical personnel indiagnosis. This system is expected to support efforts to improve malaria diagnosis inhealthcare facilities, particularly in remote areas with limited access to trained medicalpersonnel. Additionally, the system is anticipated to reduce the workload of medicalpersonnel and increase efficiency in the malaria diagnosis process.

Abstract

This research proposes the design of an automatic fish feeding system equipped withtemperature control and water pH monitoring based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Thissystem aims to increase efficiency in aquarium or fish pond management by integratingvarious control and monitoring functions in real-time. In this system, the automatic fishfeeder uses a programmable dispenser mechanism to provide feed in predeterminedamounts and times. Temperature control is carried out using temperature sensors andheating or cooling actuators, to maintain water temperature conditions within the optimalrange. In addition, water pH monitoring is carried out through a pH sensor connected tothe system to ensure the water quality remains ideal for fish health. Data from these sensorsis sent in real-time to the IoT platform, enabling remote monitoring and control via webbasedor mobile applications. The results of implementing this system show increasedefficiency in feeding, increasing operational efficiency, reducing human error, andproviding quality fish, as well as maintaining more stable and optimal environmentalconditions. The implementation of this system shows great potential in modern aquacultureapplications by utilizing IoT technology for better and responsive management.

Abstract

Digitalization in the business world has become an urgent need to enhance efficiency andproductivity, particularly for grocery stores that still rely on manual methods for managingtransactions and inventory. Dependence on manual processes often leads to various issues, such asinaccurate record-keeping, difficulties in tracking inventory, and suboptimal customer service. Toaddress these challenges, this study develops a web-based cashier application designed to automatetransactions, inventory management, and sales reporting. The application is expected to facilitatestore owners in managing daily operations while improving data accuracy and customersatisfaction. The development of the application follows the Waterfall method, a structured andlinear software development approach. This method involves stages of requirements analysis,system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The outcome of this study is a webbasedcashier application capable of addressing the challenges faced by grocery stores, withfeatures that support operational efficiency and flexibility in monitoring business activities. Thisapplication also offers long-term benefits in enhancing the competitiveness of grocery stores in thedigital era.

Abstract

Stunting in children under five, due to chronic malnutrition since in the womb, has an impact onchildren's health and cognitive development as well as the potential for long-term economic losses.In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting will reach 21.6% in 2022. Iron and calorie deficiency inpregnant women is the main factor causing stunting, with 48.6% of pregnant women experiencinganemia. Many pregnant women lack easily accessible nutritional information. The Hilda AlnairaClinic in Koja, North Jakarta, faces challenges in providing manual nutritional recommendationsthat are inefficient and lack personalization. This research aims to develop the "NutriCare" mobileapplication to help pregnant women monitor calorie and iron intake. This Android-basedapplication was developed using a prototypemethod, easy-to-use interface, relevant features, testedusing the black box method, and optimized before full implementation. This application helpsincrease pregnant women's understanding of nutrition and supports maternal health and fetaldevelopment in efforts to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Current information technology shows rapid growth and requires devices such as computers orapplications to manage data and information to ensure efficient data processing. Informationsystems are crucial in operating institutional activities such as operational control, strategicplanning, and performing other managerial functions (Zulkarnain et al., 2020). The HigherEducation Service Institution Region III is a government agency in Jakarta aimed at improvinghigher education standards under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.The State-Owned Goods Administration is a department or work group within the HigherEducation Service Institution Region III Jakarta that is fully responsible for all operationalactivities within the Higher Education Service Institution Region III. Operational activities in theState-Owned Goods Administration of the Higher Education Service Institution Region IIIJakarta are still carried out manually without an application system to record all operationalactivities. Currently, the State-Owned Goods Administration of the Higher Education ServiceInstitution Region III is striving for digitalization through the SATU project, which involvesdesigning an application to support operational activities. Abstract

In the current era of rapid scientific and technological progress, information plays animportant role in driving progress in various fields. Information technology and computersplay an important role in facilitating human work and in solving various problems. Thisresearch aims to design and build a web-based school information system that facilitatescommunication between teachers and parents at SDN Harapan Jaya II Bekasi. This systemwas developed using the String Matching method to increase efficiency in searching anddelivering information. With this system, it is hoped that communication between teachersand parents will be more effective and structured, and can support the overall teaching andlearning process. The research results show that the system developed is able to meet thecommunication and information needs of the school well.

Abstract

Indonesia's mobile technology adoption rate of 77.02% provides a great opportunity forcompanies to improve their services through mobile platforms. PT ABC, a ship service providerfor various needs, currently only uses web-based applications and needs a mobile-based shipservice application to increase efficiency and flexibility. This research aims to implement CleanArchitecture on a Flutter-based mobile platform to improve the structure and facilitate codemaintenance in ship service applications. The research method used is the prototyping method,with stages including Communication, Quick Plan, Modelling Quick Design, Prototype Formationand Deployment Delivery & Feedback. This approach enables faster application development,earlier identification of potential changes, and reduced risk of failure or mismatch with user needs.The results showed that the application of Clean Architecture in mobile-based ship service applications was successfully implemented so that it provided ease of maintenance. Blackboxtesting with 10 test cases ensures that the application functions as expected and is ready to be usedby PT ABC. User Acceptance Testing also shows that this application meets the needs of users andincreases the company's responsiveness to market changes, the test results reached 86.83%. Withthe division of business logic into usecases folders, the overall efficiency of development, flexibilityof change, and ease of maintenance of the system is increased. In conclusion, Clean Architectureproved to be the right solution to optimise PT ABC's business operations, facilitate applicationmaintenance and testing, and improve code understanding and readability for developers

Abstract

Scholarship is an assistance program in the form of educational funding in the form of beinggiven to assist students in obtaining proper education. SMA Negeri 8 Bogor City as aneducational unit that organizes formal education, participates in providing scholarships for itsstudents. The scholarship program at SMA Negeri 8 Bogor City has not used an effective andefficient method in determining the eligibility of students to receive scholarships so that errorsoften occur such as scholarships that are not on target. To overcome this, a website-basedscholarship prediction application was created to predict the eligibility status of students toreceive scholarships. Prediction is done using the classification method with the Support VectorMachine model. The results in the composition of 70% training data and 30% testing data get thehighest evaluation results with Accuracy 89%, Precision 91%, Recall 95%.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is famous for its natural wealth and tourist destinations worldwide, and it is spread out in various regions. One of the regions in East Kalimantan that is popular and often visited by tourists every year because it is famous for its stunning underwater tourist destinations is the Berau Regency. According to the East Kalimantan Tourism Office, this district has the highest number of tourist attractions in East Kalimantan, which is 224. Many tourist attractions trigger confusion among tourists when deciding which alternative option to visit. Therefore, this research aims to build a decision support system to assist tourists in getting alternative tourism recommendations that are appropriate and to their needs. The method used in this research is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. There are 30 alternative attractions and 5 criteria: facilities, safety, cleanliness, cost, and distance. The results show that the ARAS method can recommend the best alternative to tourist attractions. The accuracy testing results using the confusion matrix method get a percentage value of 80%.
