Abstract

The existing system in the organization will always have changes following the times and newneeds that exist. So that an evaluation is needed, this research aims to find out whether the librarysystem currently implemented is suitable (Fit) or there are still gaps (Gap), which then from theseresults will be used FMEA method based on the existing Gap value, so as to provide suggestionsand evaluation results to achieve the goals of system development. The result of this study is thatthe implemented library system is considered to have a Degree of Fit of 91% (20 userrequirements), Degree of Partial 9% (2 user requirements), Degree of Gap 0% (0 userrequirements). Thus it is concluded that the current library system is still in accordance with userneeds.However, development can be carried out so that the systemcan bemore optimal inmeetinguser needs.

Abstract

Teh Manis Solo is a franchise engaged in the beverage sales sector. Siska Andriyani, as the franchisee, purchaseda partnership package and owns three branches in three different locations. The first branch is located at Jl. PuloHarapan Indah, West Jakarta. The second branch is located at Jl. M Toha, Tangerang City, and the third branchis located at Jl. Prabu Siliwangi, Tangerang City. In running her business, Teh Manis Solo Siska faces severalchallenges, such as recording transactions from the three branches still using a manual system, sales transactionsnot being recorded in detail since the records are based on how many thermos were sold today, and each branch'stransaction data must be monitored through direct inspections. Consequently, the owner finds it difficult tomonitor and know the types of beverages sold at each branch and control the business processes at each TehManis Solo Siska branch. To address these issues, a web-based application for Sales Transaction Recording andFranchise Branch Transaction Performance Monitoring of Teh Manis Solo is being developed. Theprogramming language used for designing and developing the application is PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)using the CodeIgniter framework, and data processing is done using MySQL. The development method used isthe Waterfall model. The data collection process that will be implemented includes direct observation,interviews, and literature study. The hope is that this application will solve the problems faced by the businessowner in the process of recording sales transactions, expenditures, and monitoring as well as controlling businessprocesses at each branch.

Abstract

The danger of forest and land fires in Indonesia is a serious threat that continues to recurevery year. According to U.S. data Fire Service, there are more than 700 forest fires everyyear burning more than 7 million hectares of land. These fires not only damage ecosystems,but also cause the loss of important biodiversity. Many of Indonesia's endemic flora andfauna have fallen victim, increasing the risk of extinction. The use of UAVs can also changedisaster management. This technology can be integrated with early warning systems basedon analytical data and artificial intelligence, increasing the accuracy of fire predictions andmore proactive responses. Thus, the application of this technology is not just a temporarysolution, but a long-term strategic step to maintain environmental sustainability andcommunity welfare. Technological solutions such as UAVs and cooperation betweenvarious parties are needed to overcome this challenge effectively. The aim of this researchis to create a computer vision-based system that uses deep learning algorithms, especiallyYou Only Look Once (YOLO), to detect forest fires quickly and accurately. In mitigating forest fire disasters, early detection of hotspots is an important step to prevent fires fromspreading to other areas and reduce the damage caused by fires to humans and theenvironment. To achieve the objectives of this study, several actions were taken. First,forest fire image data is collected and processed for use in training the YOLO model. Next,the model is trained using a dataset that covers various forest fire conditions, such as fireintensity, time of day, and weather conditions, to ensure that the model can find firehotspots in various conditions.

Abstract

Bitcoin, as the first cryptocurrency launched in 2009, has experienced rapid growth and significant volatility.The high price fluctuations of Bitcoin have attracted the attention of investors and traders worldwide.Predicting Bitcoin prices poses a challenge due to its inherent complexity and volatility. Various methodsare employed to predict Bitcoin prices, including fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and deeplearning techniques. This study explores the use of neural networks, specifically Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM), as a tool for predicting Bitcoin prices. Long Short-Term Memory is a type of recurrent neuralnetwork (RNN) designed to address the vanishing and exploding gradient problems present in traditionalRNNs and can learn long-term dependencies in data. The LSTM model used in this research comprises 50neurons, 400 epochs, a batch size of 32, and utilizes Adam optimization. Model evaluation indicates thatLSTM performs well, with a Mean Square Error (MSE) of 2688. Additionally, the model achieves a MeanAbsolute Percentage Error (MAPE) accuracy of 97.77%. Based on these predictions, Bitcoin's price isexpected to decrease over the next month, with an estimated price of approximately 66,191.00 on June 15,2024, and around 64,271.64 on July 15, 2024

Abstract

An effective user interface (UI) is crucial in a web-based scholarshipmanagement system to ensure a good user experience and easy accessibility toinformation. However, many users still encounter difficulties using the existingsystem, necessitating a better design. This study aims to evaluate and improve theuser interface of the scholarship management system using the CognitiveWalkthrough approach. The Cognitive Walkthrough approach is used to identifyusability issues in the user interface. A prototype of the design solution was thentested through usability testing involving seven evaluators and five different taskscenarios using Maze. The results show that all evaluators were able to completethe task scenarios with a category 1 rating (no issues), although four evaluators experienced minor issues in task scenarios 1 and 2. Evaluators were slightlyconfused when searching for the latest requirements information and the ineffectiveuse of buttons. By implementing the suggested improvements based on the findingsfrom the Cognitive Walkthrough, the user interface in the scholarship managementsystem can be significantly enhanced, facilitating users in accessing the requiredinformation.

Abstract

The distribution of social assistance is a crucial component of the government's efforts to reducepoverty and social inequality. However, the implementation of aid programs often faces issuesrelated to transparency, data security, and the risk of misuse. Blockchain technology, with its abilityto provide a transparent and immutable record of data, offers a potential solution to address theseissues. Blockchain can increase transparency by providing a digital ledger that can be accessed byall relevant parties, without the possibility of data manipulation. The technology also allows forimmutable data logging, thus addressing data security concerns and the risk of misuse. In addition,the use of smart contracts allows for the automation of the aid distribution process in accordancewith predetermined provisions, thereby reducing errors and potential abuse. As such, blockchainoffers a potential solution to increase effectiveness and accountability in the implementation ofsocial assistance programs.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of the TOGAF ADM method in modelling X Ltd,which operates in the field of printing and book publishing services. X Ltd facesoperational challenges that are still manual and not fully integrated with the system sothat the service operational process becomes ineffective in terms of time. This researchaims to design an integrated architecture, including business process architecture,application and data architecture, and technology architecture. The research method usesa qualitative approach by conducting interviews with two sources from X Ltd to analyzecurrent operations. The results show that TOGAF ADM can help X Ltd Optimizes itsoperational system, accelerates data management, publishing books, and improvingcustomer service, and facilitating adaptation to changes through new system architecturemodelling.

Abstract

Today's library management increasingly demands quality and professionalism so that the resultscan be utilized to the maximum extent possible by its users. The library on the Dirgantara MarsekalSuryadarma University campus already has a website-based digital library service. This serviceis aimed at students, lecturers and the general public who need book references. However, theservices provided have limitations ranging from performance to user interface appearance. Thisresearch aims to develop a professional digital library at Dirgantara Marshal SuryadarmaUniversity. Designing the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) using the Figmaapplication with a good and intuitive Design Thinking method and can meet the expectations ofthe needs of Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma University library users. Testing using the SingleEase Question (SEQ) method to see the level of effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction withthe UI/UX design prototype of the Digital Library Application that will be built. The test resultsshow a value of 6.7 on a scale of 7, indicating that the UI/UX design of the application that hasbeen designed is considered good and in accordance with user needs

Abstract

In the digital era, information can be easily accessed through various available media suchas search engines, academic repositories, social media, news portals, and websites.However, the information available is often presented in lengthy textual form. For instance,information about 'Joko Widodo' on the Wikipedia page contains at least 8,716 charactersof text. Such a long text can be challenging to extract its main points efficiently. Severalstudies have been conducted on the development of text summarization applications.Nevertheless, a summarization application that accepts input from various formats has notyet been developed. In this research, the author proposes a text summarization systemcapable of summarizing text using inputs in multiple formats. This text summarizationsystem processes information inputs in the form of text, document files, web pages, andimages, which are subsequently summarized using the Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer(T5) model to generate a summarized output that can be stored in various file formats.Evaluation results indicate that text summarization with document or text file inputs yieldshigher ROUGE scores compared to non-text inputs, reaching an average score of 0.87

Abstract

The Host Kita Android application is an innovative solution that allows SMEs (Small and MediumEnterprises) to access and utilize services from Live Streaming Hosts more easily. This applicationemerges in response to current trends; many SMEs aim to leverage the promotional potential oflive streaming on E-commerce platforms due to increased revenue following the implementationof live streaming business strategies. However, they often cannot afford to hire a full-time LiveStreaming Host, either due to budget constraints or small business scale. With the presence of theHost Kita application, SMEs can still utilize Live Streaming Host services to promote theirproducts. Thus, the role of the Host Kita application and Live Streaming Host services becomesmore effective and positively impactful. The design process of this application uses the RAD(Rapid Application Development) method, comprising four stages: Project Requirements,Prototype, Rapid Construction Feedback, and Implementation. This application is equipped withvarious features that will make it easier for MSMEs in their business processes. It is hoped thatthrough this application, SMEs can continue to grow significantly with the assistance of LiveStreaming Host services, and the SME business ecosystem can strengthen. The Host Kitaapplication has the potential to become a highly useful tool in supporting the promotion and marketing efforts of SME products on increasingly competitive E-commerce platforms, particularly on TikTok.
