Abstract

The goal of this research are for knowing the together effect of the numeric ability and the study method to the result of mathematic study, the effect of the numeric ability to the result of mathematic study and the effect of the study method to the result of mathematic study (survey at SMAI Al-Azhar, South of Jakarta). The population is the tenth class (Senior High School) which is ammount 191 students and chosen 96 students as sample by random method. The collection of data takes by writing test of the numeric ability, scatter questions of the study method and collects data the rapor value of mathematic study in odd semester. The test of data process by using regression of SPSS-20 computer programme. The result from this research gets the linier regression Y = 77,047 – 0,009 X1 – 0,101 X2, it means no together significant effect between the numeric ability and the method study to the result of mathematic study. The numeric ability and the study method no properly to use for predicting the result of mathematic study.

Abstract

This study aims to improve understanding of electricity concept and creativity of learners through the model of learning PjBL-C. Project-based learning is a learning model involving learners in problem-solving and other meaningful task assignments, resulting in a project or product in understanding learning. PjBL-C is a collaborative PjBL and community where learners learn directly on BTL. Subjects in this study were students of class IX-A SMP Negeri 1 Temanggung, amounting to 30 students. This form of research is a classroom action research as much as two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis model. Data collection methods used were observation and test. The result of his research shows that the learning model of PjBL-C can improve the students' understanding of the concept of IX-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Temanggung. This is evidenced by the percentage of learning completeness of students that before the action is given to cycle 1 is increased 16%, increase from cycle I to cycle II by 44%, and increase from beginning to cycle II by 60%. PjBL-C learning model can also improve the creativity of students of class IX-A SMP Negeri 1 Temanggung. This is evidenced by the percentage of the average value of learners is the increase from cycle I to cycle II by 30%. The conclusion of this research is through the use of model PjBL-C can improve understanding of electric concept and creativity of learners

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to know the influence of the anxiety of learning and students' understanding of mathematical concepts penanalaran mathematical abilities of students. The hypothesis of this study include: 1) There is a significant direct effect on the ability of anxiety learn mathematical reasoning. 2) There is significant direct influence students' understanding of mathematical concepts of mathematical reasoning abilities. 3) There is a significant direct effect of anxiety learn to understanding math concepts students. 4) There is a significant indirect effect on the ability of anxiety learn mathematical reasoning through the understanding of math concepts students. The method used in this research is survey method. Affordable population is class VIII students of academic year 2014/2015 a private SMP in Depok. A large sample of 80 students, with a sampling technique used was multistage sampling, taken four private schools. Research instrument used is questionnaire anxiety to learn as much as 25 statement, test understanding of mathematical concepts as much as 23 multiple choice questions, tests of mathematical reasoning ability in the form of an essay as much as 10 questions, which te; ah tested its validity. Analysis of data using path analysis. Hypothesis testing results show that: 1) There is a direct effect not significant anxiety study on the ability of mathematical reasoning, 2) There is a direct effect of significant understanding of the mathematical concept of the ability of mathematical reasoning, 3) There is a direct effect not significant anxiety learn to understanding of mathematical concepts , 4) There is the indirect effect which is not significant anxiety on the ability to learn mathematical reasoning. Keywords: anxiety of learning , mathematical concepts , mathematical reasoning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family communication and early knowledge of science to learn science achievement. The method used is survey method. Samples were taken as many as 102 students with a simple random technique. Data analysis using correlation and regression techniques. The results showed: 1) there is a positive influence of family communication and knowledge of early science together on science learning achievement, 2) there is a positive influence of family communication on science learning achievement, 3) no prior knowledge of the influence of science on science learning achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan belajar ilmu alamiah dasar, mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan belajar ilmu alamiah dasar dan mengetahui pengaruh/ interaksi gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan belajar ilmu alamiah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa universitas Indraprasta program studi pendidikan bahasa Indonesia. Sampel terdiri atas 84 mahasiswa yang dibagi ke dalam enam kelas penelitian yang masing terdiri atas 14 mahasiswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey Expose Facto dengan analisis Anova dua arah dengan desain faktorial 2x3. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan belajar ilmu alamiah dasar dibuktikan sig untuk gaya belajar 0,00 < 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan belajar ilmu alamiah dasar dibuktikan sig untuk motivasi belajar 0,037 < 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh interaksi gaya belajar dan minat belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan belajar ilmu alamiah. Hal ini ditandai dengan nilai sig interaksi gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa 0,002 < 0,05 dan didukung dengan perolehan nilai F hitung diamana Fhitung 6,87 > Ftabel 3,96.Kata Kunci : Gaya Belajar, Motivasi, Kemampuan Belajar IAD, Pengaruh.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of self-consistency of the student toward the learning result (achievement) in junior high school 179 Jakarta. The research method which was used in the research is survey method. The population of research is all students in class VIII. Samples are taken by simple random sampling, consisted of 70 students. The research instrument is a self-consistency and mathematics learning achievement. Data analyzed by simple regression techniques. The hypothesis testing resulted in conclusion; there positive and significant effect of self-consistency toward mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a mathematics instructional design emblem recognition numbers in grade 1 Elementary School Exceptional Tunagrahita, especially students with Down syndrome. This study design is based on the analysis of the mathematical competence requirements that should be owned by SDLB graduates first class as early competence to continue math in grade 2 and baseline characteristics of learners to fit the given instructional design. The collection of data by observation and interviews with teachers and parents of students. This research referring to the Instructional Development Model (MPI). This watchfulness consists of several steps, namely: (1) identify needs and writing instructional objectives, (2) the instructional analysis, (3) identify the behavior and character of early learners, (4) write aim instructional special, (5) composed result evaluation tool learns, (6) composed strategy instructional, (7) develop instructional materials, (8) carry out formative evaluation. The findings of the research that produced a design of a comprehensive learning in accordance with the purpose of learning mathematics learners tunagrahita particularly Down syndrome SDLB C grade 1.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitiaan ini yaitu 1) mengetahui hubungan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa, 2) mengetahui hubungan persepsi siswa pada metode pembelajaran problem solving terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa, 3) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi berprestasi dan persepsi siswa pada metode pembelajaran problem solving terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dan survei. Sampel berukuran 56 siswa yang terdiri atas 28 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 28 siswa kelas kontrol, dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu cluster sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar Biologi bentuk pilihan ganda dengan 4 pilihan jawaban, sebanyak 30 soal yang telah diuji validitasnya dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,88; dan angket motivasi berprestasi sebesar 0,89. Setelah melalui uji prasyarat data, yaitu normalitas dan regresi, kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan konsep product moment diperoleh r12 = 0,6020, ry1 = 0,7397, ry2 = 0,7822, dan ry12 = 0,8516. Menunjukkan adanya pengaruh langsung sebesar 36,24% untuk r12, 54,71% untuk ry1 (cukup tinggi), 61,18% untuk ry2 (cukup tinggi) dan 72,52% untuk ry12 (tinggi). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh motivasi terhadap hasil belajar Biologi, walaupun dalam hal ini penggabungan antara motivasi berprestasi dan metode pembelajaran problem solving yang lebih berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine differences in cognitive conflict that integrates learning with soft skills to the mathematical problem solving abilities in the course of differential equations. The method used in this research is the method of quasi experiment with comparative analysis that the t test on 40 samples, Samples were taken at random on 6th semester student of mathematics education Universityof of Indraprasta PGRI (UNINDRA) academic year 2013/2014. The results showed differences in cognitive conflict instructional ter integration with soft skills and learning cognitive conflict that is not integrated with the soft skills of the mathematical problem solving abilities in the course of differential equations.

Abstract

Penguasaan strategi pembelajaran harus dimiliki oleh seorang pengajar matematika dalm rangka menunjang kesuksesan siswa dalam mempelajari matematika. Penerapan pembelajaran Kontekstual dalam mengajarkan matematika diharapkan dapat membantu para pengajar mata pelajaran matematika, sehingga para siswa dapat lebih mudah mengerti dan memahami, sekaligus dapat meningkatkan minat dan motovasi siswa dalam mempelajari matematika. Kajian ini bersifat kualitatif, yang memfokuskan pada hal-hal yang diharapkan (i) minimal diketahui dan dipahami oleh pengajar matematika, dengan berdasarkan kajian pustaka dan pengamatan penulis, dan (ii) dapat memberi kontribusi pada para pengajar matematika dalam menentukan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi yang akan diajarkan.
