Abstract

Aktivitas belajar tidak selamanya dapat berjalan dengan lancar, peserta didik seringkali mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar, baik dalam hal menerima pelajaran, menyerap pelajaran, atau kedua-duanya. Kesulitan belajar dapat dilihat dengan adanya seorang atau sekelompok peserta didik yang tidak dapat mencapai hasil belajar yang diinginkan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika antara peserta didik yang diremidi menggunakan metode tutor sebaya dengan peserta didik yang diremidi menggunakan metode tanya jawab. dan jika ada, manakah yang lebih efektif dari dua metode pembelajaran tersebut.Hasil penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kota Tegal tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah para peserta didik kelas XI IPS yang nilai ulangan harinya dibawah KKM pada materi fungsi limit semester genap. Sampel sebanyak 2 kelas diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling terambil kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 2 dengan jumlah 76 peserta didik. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah metode dokumentasi dan tes untuk mempereoleh data tentang populasi dan sampel serta prestasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah pengajaran remidial. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dua pihak digunakan untuk menentukan ada tidaknya perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika antara peserta didik yang diremidi menggunakan kedua metode tersebut dan uji-t satu pihak untuk untuk menetukan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika antara peserta didik yang diremidi menggunakan metode tutor sebaya dengan peserta didik yang diremidi menggunakan metode tanya jawab. Penerapan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya lebih efektif daripada metode pembelajaran tanya jawab.Kata Kunci: Metode Tutor Sebaya, Metode Tanya Jawab, Pengajaran Remidial, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of virtual laboratory-assisted learning model and learning interest in the students creative thinking abilities of chemistry. The study design was 2 x 2 factorial design with three variables consisting of two independent variables and one dependent variable. To obtain research data used in the form of the test instrument the creative thinking abilities of chemistry and scale of student interest. The population in this study were all senior high school students Pasar Minggu District XI Class South Jakarta in the study sample two classes from two schools were equal. The results showed that: 1) There is the influence of Virtual Lab assisted learning model of creative thinking abilities of chemistry. 2) There is interest in studying the influence of creative thinking abilities of chemistry. 3) There is an interaction effect between learning model assisted Virtual Lab an interest in learning to creative thinking abilities of chemistry. From the research it needs further testing with the t test, which indicates that two group has an influence on the creative thinking abilities of chemistry.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to describe the form of the learning media which are created by the students. The research also to know entrepreneurship skill of students in the making of learning media based on ecopreneurship. The research method is descriptive research that is supported by quantitative data. The population is participants of Greenject 2017 competition, which requires 68 high school students in Jabodetabek or 34 teams. The sample is the finalist of education category (learning media) as many as 10 teams (20 students). Biology learning media can be made from used materials (garbage). The used materials being used are useless paper, useless cardboard, useless iron and zinc, scrap wood, plastic and useless electronic equipment. The learning media for biology lesson which is created by students are proven worthy of using as media of learning. As a matter of fact, some learning media are worthy of mass production. The entrepreneurship skills of students are in good category (40% excellent category and 60% good category). The production of learning media from the used materials can be used as a model of green entrepreneurship education or ecopreneurship.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims at how to develop sparkol video scribe assisted mathematics learning media and produce valid, practical, effective and responsive media. To achieve this goal the authors develop the media using research development methods with steps: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. Subjects in this study were students of the University of Islam Raden Intan Lampung with data collection instruments used in the form of a questionnaire given to the material experts, media experts, and questionnaire responses to students to know the interest of learning media developed mathematics. The results of this study produce a product in the form of sparkol video scribe-assisted mathematics learning media on assignment material (linear program) in higher education; knowing the feasibility of the developed product quality is very feasible with a score of 83,7% based on expert material judgment and 91,5% by the media expert in a very feasible category. Students' responses in sparkol video scribe assisted instructional media on assignment material (linear program) obtained a score of 83,2% with very interesting criteria in college. based on the suggestions from material experts and media experts to the author to be disseminated to lecturers for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is an ethnomathematics study of the Biak Papuan community. The ethnomathematics studied are houses and traditional musical instruments. The shape and style of the traditional Biak house still remain to this day. The purpose of this study was to examine and reveal the relationship between mathematics and the traditional home culture of the Biak community, namely rum Som, rum Sram and Sram Mankubui and traditional musical instruments namely Tifa. The research method used is an exploratory survey method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the shape of the roof of rum Som, rum Sram, Sram Mankubui was rectangular, half elliptical and triangular trapezoid. Whereas Tifa's musical instruments look like the two most belted cones combined.

Abstract

The purpose of the research aims at identifying the influence of student’s mathematical learning outcomes from a generative learning model assisted through Wingeom Software. The research was conducted at SMP 262 in April 2018 of the 2017/2018 academic year.  The research employed a Quasi-Experiment method with cluster random sampling from two classes, that is, VIII-A and VIII-B. The research instrument used the test essay of student’s Mathematical learning outcomes of which the eight items considered as to be valid and reliable. The normality test was carried out by using Liliefors while the homogeneity test uses the Fisher test. The finding shows that class VIII-A taught by generative learning model assisted through Wingeom Software has higher values than the class with no generative learning model implementation. In conclusion, the average value of students taught by a generative learning model assisted through Wingeom Software is considered to be higher than the ones who are not imposed by the generative learning model.

Abstract

This research was conducted to improve the understanding of the concept of PGSD students STKIP NU Indramayu by utilizing the Karangsong beach as a learning resource based on local wisdom. The research method used is mixed method research or sequential explanatory strategy, which is a strategy that is applied by collecting and analyzing quantitative data in the first stage. In this study, data collection and analysis increase understanding of the concept of living things and their environment after being treated, followed by collecting and analyzing qualitative data in the second stage, namely revealing obstacles and solutions to students in utilizing the Karangsong beach as a learning resource based on local wisdom. The research subjects were PGSD students at STKIP NU Indramayu who attended the basic concepts of biology in elementary school. The utilization of Karangsong beach as a learning resource based on local wisdom can improve students' understanding of concepts as evidenced by the acquisition of  N-Gain values of 0.81 in the high category. As for the constraints and obstacles faced by students revealed through interviews. Based on the results of interviews, external factors are more than internal factors. The lack of application of the right learning model is one of the inhibiting factors in this study. This has caused learning goals cannot be achieved optimally

Abstract

The problems that arise in the school/madrasah are the weakness of the teacher's ability to prepare, manage, and carry out the physics lab. This study aims to analyze the ability of laboratory management and the level of a literacy science physics teacher. The method used in this study is literature study with the literature review of the results of research the last five years describes how the professional ability of physics teachers in managing physics laboratories and science literacy teachers in Indonesia. Based on the results of the analysis of the relevant research results that: (1) the laboratory serves to support learning by directing students to think scientific; (2) limited learning in the laboratory can lead to weak literacy of students' knowledge; (3) Implementation of physics lab activities in schools is still classified as less because of the ability of science literacy teachers in managing the laboratory has not been optimal.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experiment that aims to know: (1) the difference of science learning achievement between the learning method of everyone is a teacher here with the method of discussion learning (2) the difference of science learning achievement for high and low critical thinking skill (3) the interaction between learning method and the critical thinking skill of the learning achievement of science. Design research using factorial design 2x2. Data collection techniques using test techniques, observation techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques for hypothesis testing using a two-way ANOVA test. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a very significant difference the learning outcomes of science between the learning method of everyone is a teacher here with the method of discussion learning (p = 0,000) (2) there is a very significant difference of science learning achievement for high and low critical thinking skills (p = 0,000) and (3) there is a significant interaction between the learning method and the critical thinking skill of the learning achievement (p = 0,040).
