Humans as social beings who must interact with various other individual character types must have emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is not the same person, intelligence is influenced by the family environment, age, and physical. High or low emotional intelligence influences how to interact and work. Individuals who have low emotional intelligence tend to have individualistic traits and cannot work together in teams, for that every company or agency needs to conduct tests on prospective employees. IQ and EQ tests conducted by companies to prospective employees so far have been done manually, so that problems often occur such as the test taker takes a long time to correct answer sheets, errors in calculating scores and reports of long test results when the test participants are in the amount big. Given the company's mistakes are often too late and wrong in making decisions to accept the right employees, for that we need to make an expert system that can help companies in conducting EQ tests for the selection process of prospective employees in accordance with the desired criteria. Expert system that is designed using the method of forward chaining is a method of searching or tracking information starting from existing information and combined with the rules to get a conclusion. Expert System Design uses an object oriented approach and PHP programming language so that it can be used to help companies, especially in the Human Resource Department (HRD) in the selection of prospective employees.

Lembaga Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Madani (LP2M) merupakan suatu lembaga yang bergerak di bidang Pendidikan Non Formal. LP2M telah banyak melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan baik diklat-diklat singkat, bimtek, seminar dan lokakarya di bidang kedinasan dan kegiatan-kegiatan lainnya. Dalam pengelolaan berbagai kegiatan tersebut, saat ini dilakukan secara konvensional (manual) sedangkan dalam pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Program Ms.Excel. Salah satu contoh yaitu dalam mencatat data-data pendaftaran maupun peserta pelatihan. Padahal kompleksitas data, integrasi, prosedur atau proses bisnis, dan pengendalian organisasi diperlukan adanya sistem informasi. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem informasi online berupa website dengan menggunakan Metode Extreme Programming. Dengan metode tersebut maka perancangan akan lebih sederhana dan waktu akan lebih singkat. Hasil penelitian membahas terkait efektifitas dan efesiensi dari hasil perancangan sistem informasi manajemen LP2M.

Digital payment gateway yang digunakan masyarakat Kota Batam sangat beragam. Sistem pembayaran digital tersebut diantaranya adalah internet banking, mobile banking, mobile application payment, dan juga masih ada yang menggunakan electronic data capture. Jumlah pengguna yang paling banyak adalah penggun sistem pembayaran digital berbasis mobile banking dan internet banking yang mencapai hamper 80% dari total responden yang ada. Pelaku umkm di Kota Batam sudah mengenal sistem pembayaran digital dengan baik dan juga sudah menggunakan dalam rentang waktu yang cukup lama yaitu rata-rata tigas tahun. Budaya di Kota Batam ditinjau dalam hal teknologi informasi secara keseluruhan sudah baik dimana hasil olah data menunjukan bahwa 50% pelaku usaha sudah menerima sistem pembayaran digital untuk mendukung kegiatan usaha mereka. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulka bahwa budaya memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap actual use (penggunaan) sistem pembayaran digital. Nilai signifikansi pada hasil pengolahan data kuesioner menunjukan bahwa variable budaya pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam tidak dominan terhadap variable actual use karena pada nilai R square pada table anova menghasilkan nilai 0,509. Namun secara khusus pada uji regresi linier dan juga uji hipotesis menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa budaya pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam mempengaruhi penggunaan sistem pembayaran digital.

This study aims to determine the extent of the quality of cellular-based internet network services in the coastal areas of Batam, especially on Rempang Galang Island. The background of the research is to increase public awareness to use the internet for economic development and to improve the quality of human resources. With the internet, the people of Rempang Galang Island can open their insights, knowledge, skills, market share and wider business opportunities. This awareness has also led to an increase in the number of people who use cellular-based internet. With cellular-based, many advantages are obtained. Among others, it does not depend entirely on PLN electricity, mobility and flexibility and has many uses. In order to serve the needs of the Rempang Galang community for good internet network services, a study is needed to find out the facts on the ground. The research method used is the QoS (Quality Of Service) method. The main parameters of throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter with reference standards are TIPHON (Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization over Networks). The tools used are Axis NetTools, Wireshark and Iperf. The results of the study will obtain a picture of the quality of cellular-based internet network services on Rempang Galang Island, Batam City. The final goal of the research is as input for the Batam City Government and the private sector in order to jointly build the Batam City to be more advanced and equitable.

Design of smart library architecture model is a new architectural model of integrating library information systems in several universities that still use WebApp but are local, so that it is expected to be connected to the new architectural design. The design of this model focuses on the use of web services, the application of the concept of Open access by utilizing QR Code as an Internet of Things (IoT). This design focuses on the technology that will be used to integrate library information systems in all universities, especially in the city of Batam. Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) is a methodology used in designing smart library architecture models and using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Architectural design consists of business architecture, information architecture, and technology architecture. Business architecture design modeling is described in the business use case explaining the actors namely students and library staff as well. The results of the design of the smart library architecture model are in the form of design recommendations for the construction of smart libraries at universities in the city of Batam. The design of this smart library architecture model with the application of technological trends will provide convenience and support to the academic community in the use of library systems.

Knowledge management has been applied in various organizations. The implementation of knowledge management will not work if there is no process of knowledge sharing. Knowledge sharing is the key to an organization's success. To facilitate knowledge sharing, it can use information assistance. The existence of information technology can be an enabler in the process of knowledge sharing. PT. Indonesia Villa Jaya is a company of production field. This company is one of the companies that already did knowledge sharing activities. Knowledge sharing activities include routine meetings, training, watching together, and many other activities. Knowledge sharing activities in this company are also inseparable from the role of information technology. However, this time, the use of information technology in this company has not been maximized that there are still many complaints from employees regarding the use of information technology for knowledge sharing. This study aims to determine the description of the use of information technology for knowledge sharing. The information technology that will be discussed from this research are ICT tools, ICT infrastructure, and ICT know-how. This is a quantitative research. The population of this research is the employees of PT. Indonesia Villa Jaya, with questionnaire collection methods and census sampling techniques, and data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of information technology for knowledge sharing at PT Indonesia Villa Jaya is at a good level. ICT Infrastructure has the highest value for information technology variables that support knowledge sharing.

The internet has become one of the supporting infrastructures for the successful implementation of the smart village. In Indonesia, many village governments have provided public internet access points in the village area. However, the implementation of this access point has not been able to reach all rural areas due to geographical constraints and the availability of electricity. This study aims to make a prototype of an internet access point with solar power, also known as Green Internet Technology. This prototype is done by using a Design-Based Research (DBR) approach which consists of six steps including (1) focusing, (2) understanding, (3) defining, (4) understanding, (5) building, (5) building and (6) tests. The prototype Green Internet Technology has 3 main parts including (1) solar power systems, (2) internet access point systems and (3) solar monitoring systems. Test results in the real environment that the solar power system and internet access point can work 24 hours a day. But going forward, solar monitoring systems need to be reviewed, especially in the stability of the performance of current and voltage sensor devices.

The purpose of this study is to design an application prototype that can help the distribution of information for coastal communities. The Riau Islands Province Medium Term Regional Development Plan 2016-2021 explains that investment opportunities in the Riau Islands begin to penetrate the coastal areas. The Batam City Government is try to ensure equitable development through access to information technology, but coastal communities still have difficulty utilizing the information technology. This research is a qualitative research with a Design Thinking approach. The Design Thinking approach has five stages namely emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, test, and implement. Design Thinking Approach is an approach used to create innovation by focusing on "Human Centered Design". Data collection methods that will be used in this study are observation and interviews. The results of this study are the Becakap Prototype application which has four functions, namely scholarship information, sea level information, weather information, and for action. This application makes it easy for coastal communities to access the information needed.

Raren Batuah 1 High School is a senior high school education level located at Unsum Village, Raren Batuah District, East Barito Regency, at Raren Batuah 1 High School, assistance is provided in the form of subsidies for Poor Student Assistance for the smooth teaching and learning process for students less fortunate. To help the selection process for recipients of Poor Student Assistance, a decision support system has been designed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method by prioritizing the criteria of parental income, the number of dependents of parents, and the value of student report cards that will be used for a reference decision making for the right recipient of Poor Student Assistance. Decision Support System Application (DSS) for Poor Student Assistance Recipients was designed using Flowchart and implemented using the Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 programming language.

Artificial intelligence is the best solution in dealing with various fields. The Multi Class Decesion Forest Machine Learning algorithm which is part of artificial intelligence is an interesting field to be applied in the banking field. This research was developed to build a model that can predict and evaluate bankruptcy in the banking industry. The predictor variable is the financial ratio obtained from the publication of the site http://www.idx.co.id. Modeling machine learning with six variables, where five variables as input and one variable as a target. Overall, the Multi Class Decistion Forest Machine Learning is able to train data input-output relationships and modeling behavior well, 92% accuracy value, 92% precision value and 90% under area curve value.
