Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of teachers to implement learning has not shown maximum results. This is due to the lack of the teacher's ability to apply the learning model and the use of learning models that are not yet in accordance with the students' creative characteristics and classroom situation. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to teach. In this case the researcher tries to intensify the implementation of the cooperative model workshop in an effort to minimize weaknesses in carrying out the learning process. This research was conducted in two cycles, the steps in each cycle consisted of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, in the aspect of teacher attendance in the first cycle, only 5 people attended the workshop with a percentage of 83%, after the second cycle had increased to 100%. In the aspect of readiness of teacher materials in participating in the workshop as many as 4 people or 67% in the prepared category, after the second cycle it was increased to 100% ready category. The readiness aspect of laptops as much as 50% is ready and after the second cycle has increased to 83% the teacher is ready. The results of the teacher teaching assessment using the cooperative model in the first cycle, the average teacher gets a score of 67.8 in the good category, after the second cycle, the teacher's teaching assessment results increase to 86.5 in the excellent category. Based on the results of the above research, researchers can conclude that by applying the workshop cooperative learning models can improve the ability of teachers to teach in 012 Small Island Elementary Schools

One factor that influences learning outcomes is interest. In learning activities, if students have an interest in learning, they will feel that learning is very important so they try to focus their attention on things related to learning activities and are happy to do it without coercion from anyone. This research aims to determine the correlation of interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes of students at Elementary School 3 Jatimulyo, Jatiagung District, South Lampung Regency. This research uses quantitative methods and the type of correlation research. The population of this study was all fourth grade students of Elementary School 3 Jatimulyo. The sample of this study was 69 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis uses the product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate there is a relationship between learning interest with learning outcomes in mathematics. These results are based on statistical calculations that show a calculation of 0.918> rtable 0.235. The results of the hypothesis analysis can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between learning interest and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Elementary School 3 Jatimulyo Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 by judging from the count criteria> rtable

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students by applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. The method used in this research was experiment. This research was conducted for 3 days, where the first day gave a pretest to students, the second day provided learning, and the third day was posttest. The results of the study were seen from the students' pretest and posttest. On the results of the pretest of 29 students, there were 13 students who completed and 16 other students who did not complete with an average of 68.03. Then in the posttest, the number of students who have completed has increased by 26 people while students who have not completed were 3 people so that an average of 80.62 was obtained which was relatively high. The results of t-test with tcount = 10.17 and ttable = 2.048, which can be concluded that tcount > ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there were differences and increases in student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 148 Pekanbaru between before and after the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the branches of science that has the most connection with other branches of science which function to advance students' thinking scientifically and construct new knowledge gained by students. Mathematics functions to develop the ability to communicate using numbers and symbols and sharpness of reasoning that can help clarify and solve problems in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to increase the mathematics learning outcomes of class I students of 018 Marsawa State Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Based on observations, researchers found student learning outcomes were still relatively low. Students who complete mathematics learning or who achieve minimum completeness criteria are only 10 students or (45.4%) while students who do not complete or have not reached the minimum completeness criteria are 12 students or (54.5%). With a grade average of 56. To overcome this learning problem researchers used a demonstration learning model. The results of the study showed an increase in learning outcomes per cycle, when viewed from the initial data, the classical average value was 56 with a moderate category. After carrying out the first cycle the average value became 64.6 moderate categories and in the second cycle increased to 91.6 very good categories. Based on the results of the study researchers can conclude that by applying the demonstration method in Class I 018 Marsawa Elementary School Sentajo Raya District can improve student mathematics learning outcomes.
