Abstract

Social studies learning about social community that is useful for future student life. To achieve these objectives, the teacher must work hard in striving, creating a learning process that makes it easy for students to explore the information provided. This research was carried out in class I 016 Marsawa Public Elementary School with a total of 22 students out of 15 men and 7 women. The design of this study uses classroom action research which consists of two cycles by applying a direct learning model assisted by media images. The results of the study prove, on the base score, students who complete as many as 10 (45.4%) while students who did not complete as many as 12 (54.5%) people with an average grade on the base score of 51.8 with the category of incomplete. Cycle I, as many as 16 students (72.7%), while students who did not complete as many as 6 (27.3%) people with an average grade of 73.4. The increase in class average from the base score to the first cycle was 21.6 with a complete category. Cycle II, students who completed as many as 20 (90.9%) while students who did not complete as many as 2 (9.1%) people with an average grade of 88.7. Increased class average from the base score to the second cycle of 21.6 with the category of completion. It can be concluded that by applying the direct learning model assisted by effective image media to improve social studies learning outcomes of Grade I students of SD Negeri 016 Marsawa

Abstract

The background of this research is many lower class students have not been able to read and write correctly. For this reason, the researcher tried to improve students' reading and writing skills through image media. This research was a classroom action research on grade 2 students of SDN 002 Benai with a total of 20 students. The instruments used were observation sheets and students' reading and writing tests. The results of the study in the first cycle showed that the students’ ability with average score of 67.5% with a good category then the second cycle increased to 81% which was included in the excellent category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that reading and writing ability of the second grade students of SDN 002 Benai can be improved through the media of images.

Abstract

This exploratory article was concerned with the use of social media platforms as learning media during the covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia government issued a policy to work at home, study at home, and worship at home during the pandemic. Several social media platforms became popular among Indonesians during the pandemic. This study explored a concept, which meant understanding the developing phenomena in order to gain insights used for further research. Respondents were four students who attended lectures on organizational behaviour. The data were collected through observation, assignment, and unstructured interviews. The findings showed the diversity of social media chosen by students with various considerations such as the amount of internet quota, trends in social media applications, and creativity development, as well as several things that need to be considered by lecturers and students in online learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low of science learning result of grade 6 students of SDN 004 TembilahanKota. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of science students of grade VI SDN 004Tembilahan Kota with the application of contextual approach. This research was conducted in class VI SDN004 Tembilahan Kota. This research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of thisresearch are the sixth grade students of SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota lesson year which consist of 30 people with16 men and 14 women. Based on the results of the research from the teacher activity sheets appear to increase ateach meeting. At the first meeting of cycle I 64.3%, the second meeting of cycle I was 67.86%. At the firstmeeting of cycle II 71,43%, and second meeting of cycle II 78,57%. While the student activity also increasesevery meeting. At the first meeting of cycle I 67,86%, second meeting of cycle I 71,43%. At the first meeting ofthe second cycle of 75%, and the second meeting II cycle 78.57%. The learning outcomes in the first cycleincreased by 12.8% from the base score of 67.83% to 76.5%. In the second cycle increased by 17.2% to 79.5%.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 013 Sungai Tarap Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 013 Sungai Tarap Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar dengan menggunakan metode demontrasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 22 orang siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus dan empat kali pertemuan. Adapun prosedur dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan penilaian, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode demontrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 013 Sungai Tarap Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar. Hal ini terlihat dari perolehan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 72,61% dan persentase siswa tuntas 59,09%. Pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 84,93% dan persentase siswa tuntas 86,36%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 013 Sungai Tarap Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar  mengalami peningkatan dalam setiap siklus setelah diterapkan metode demontrasi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of understanding of teachers in preparing lesson plans in a complete and systematic manner, besides that the ability of teachers is not sufficient in developing the components of lesson plans according to the needs and abilities of students. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher competencies in preparing learning implementation plans through academic supervision. This research is a classroom action research. School action research is carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection, and carried out at least in two cycles. The research subjects were mathematics teachers totaling 6 people who were in the shade school of the researchers. The research instruments used were RPP documents and assessment observation sheets. The results of the study showed that the teacher's competence in preparing lesson plans in the first cycle was 40.90% which was included in the less category, in the second cycle it increased to 92.42% which was included in the good category. The conclusion based on the research data is that the teacher's competence in preparing lesson plans has increased after academic supervision.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still low learning outcomes of social studies students at SD Negeri 002 Muara Lembu. The purpose of this study is to improve students' social studies learning outcomes by applying cooperative learning models with the help of hidden chart media. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicate that, in the basic score of students who complete only as many as 9 (45%) while 11 (55%) have not been completed with an average grade of 63.2. In the first cycle, students who completed as many as 13 (65%) while those who did not complete as many as 7 (35%) with an average grade of 73.1. Cycle II, students who completed as many as 18 (90%) and students who did not complete as many as 2 (10%) with an average grade of 84.3. from this result, it can be concluded that by applying cooperative learning models assisted by hidden chart media can improve social learning outcomes of students of SD Negeri 002 Muara Lembu

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectivenes of Discovery Learning and Problem Solving models in learning mathematics on the fourth grade students of elementary school in terms of problem solving skills. The samples was elementary school in a cluster of garuda in kabupaten Jepara. The sample was taken use observations and tests. The samples consisted of 2 elementary school with 65 students. The research method was experimental design used static-group comparison. The instruments used to measure the students problem solving skills were rubric and problem solving test. The data analysis techniques was t test  and descriptive. The results obtained from the experimental class by the number of students (N) with 35 students with the average score of 77.79, meanwhile the control class obtained the average score of (n) 72.91 with 30 students. The test result obtained t coefficient of t count of the sig 0.368 (2 tailed) 0.021. Because the value was <0,05, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted that meant that there were significant differences in the implementation of the discovery learning model and problem solving modelin improving problem solving skills of grade 4 students of the elementary school on learning mathematics.

Abstract

This research begins from the results of learning mathematics students class V of SD Negeri 008 Banjar NanTigo is still very low. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics on the subject offractional addition operations and mixed count operations. From the data analysis, there was an increase ofboth teacher activity, student activity, and student learning result. The activity of teacher in the first cycle I was66.67% (enough) and at the second meeting increased by 4.16% to 70.83% (good). In the second cycle ofmeeting 3 it increased by 12.5% from 83.33% (very good) to 91.67% (very good). Judging from the studentactivity also increased from the first cycle I meeting was 62.5% (enough) and at the 2nd meeting increased by4.17% to 66.67% (enough). In the second cycle of meeting 3 it increased by 12.49% from 66.67% (sufficient) to79.16% (good) and at 4th meeting increased by 8.34% from 79.16% (good) to 87.5% (very good). The averagebaseline score of 55.5 increased to 70.35 in cycle I of the 14.5 points increase and then in cycle II increased to80.12 on the second cycle, the increase was 9.77 points. From the data analysis there is an increase both fromteacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the enforcement of theproblem-based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students mathematics class V of SD Negeri008 Banjar Nan Tigo.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the weakness of teachers in the use of information and communication technology(ICT) media in the teaching and learning process. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan. Thisstudy uses a school action research design consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely,planning, implementation, observation and reflection. From the results of the first cycle research, indicators ofteacher attendance, from 39 teachers, 30 or 76.92% of teachers attended, in cycle II it increased to 39 teachersor 100%. Leptop readiness indicator, 20 or 51.28% of teachers are in the ready category, in the second cyclebecomes 77 or 94.87%. Indicators of physical and mental readiness, 26 or 66.66% of teachers categorized asready, in cycle II to be 39 or 100%. Judging from the observations of teachers in the use of ICT as a medium ofteaching, in cycle I, word processing indicators scored 65 or 55.55% in the sufficient category, the second cycleincreased to 101 or 86.32% in the very good category. Indicators process spreadsheets and graphics, in the firstcycle 74 or 63.24% in the good category, in the second cycle it becomes 103 or 88.03% in the very goodcategory. Indicators of making interactive presentations using power points, 69 cycles or 58.97% are sufficientcategories, cycle II becomes 110 or 94.01% with very good categories. It can be concluded that theimplementation of ICT workshops can improve the ability of teachers in the use of ICT as a teaching medium atSMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan.
