Abstract

This study is based on the learning outcomes of social studies students of grades VI SD Negeri 016 Bukit TimahKecamatan Dumai Selatan Kota Dumai is still very low. This study aims to improve social studies learningoutcomes. From the data analysis, there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, and studentlearning result, that is teacher activity at meeting 1 cycle I percentage is 58,3% (enough) and at the secondmeeting increased to 70,8% (good). In cycle II the third meeting of teacher activity value from 70,8% (good) to83,4% (very good) and at the fourth meeting increased to 95,8% (very good). Judging from the activity ofstudents also experienced an increase from 54,2% (enough) to 62,5% (good). In the second cycle of the thirdmeeting to be 79,2% (good) and at the fourth meeting increased to 91,7% (very good). Judging from the resultsof the students also experienced increase from the average score of students on the basic score of 55.25 after thefirst cycle the average student score increased to 73,75 with an increase of 18,5 points from the baseline score.In the second cycle student learning outcomes also experienced an increase of 12 points from cycle I withaverage student scores 85,75. From the data analysis there is an increase both from teacher activity, studentactivity, and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the advancement of model Numbered HeadsTogether (NHT), can improve the learning outcomes of social studies learning outcomes of class VI SD Negeri016 Bukit Timah Kecamatan Dumai Selatan Kota Dumai.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of learning science in fourth-grade elementary school students who are still low. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of science by applying the cooperative pair type think pair share (TPS) model. The results showed, seen from the basic score, students who completed 11 people with a percentage of 47.82%, while students who did not complete 12 people with a percentage of 52.17%. cycle I, students who completed 17 people with a percentage of 73.91% while students who did not complete 6 people with a percentage of 26.08%. cycle II, students who completed 20 people with a percentage of 86.95% while the incomplete 3 people with a percentage of 13.04%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the cooperative learning model the think pair share (TPS) type can improve science learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri 004 Seberang Teluk Hilir Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

The urgency of research is there are still many teachers who find it difficult to develop, establish, to adjust, and then set up to make the Learning Implementation Plan, the right one and according to the characteristics of teaching materials, the nature of teaching materials and student development in general. The purpose of this study is to improve the professionalism of teachers to make lesson plans through supervision of personal guidance. This type of research is the School Action Research which consists of four main stages namely planning, action, observation, the research subjects consisted of 11 teachers from SDN 91 / IX Rengas Bandung, which consisted eight civil governent of teachers and three governent of teacher contract. The success criteria is a percentage of 85% in general and individually. The results showed that the total score of 39.09 in the first cycle increased significantly to 44.55 in the second cycle, the percentage of success of teachers 78.18% in the first cycle increased to 89.09% in the second cycle. The results obtained in the second cycle means that the achievement of teacher professionalism makes the implementation plan of learning by 85% in general or individually, therefore, it can be concluded that the supervision of personal guidance can improve the professionalism of teachers to make a Learning Implementation Plan at SDN 91 / IX Rengas Bandung

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of principals who do not conduct supervision and evaluation on academic supervision in schools because they just served as principal so that the quality of learning becomes low. For this reason, this study aims to improve the competency of principals in carrying out academic supervision through monitoring and evaluation. This research was an action research conducted at 10 primary school principals in Indragiri Giri Hulu. The instrument used was in the form of observation sheet to observe the implementation of supervision which was used as material for analysis and follow-up improvement in the competency of the principal. The results of the study found that the implementation of academic suprervision in the first cycle was 77% which meant the competence of principals included in the enough category while the second cycle increased to 88% which included in good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the competency of principals in Indragiri Hulu in implementing academic supervision has increased through monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

The problem studied in this study is how to improve learning achievement on with the Demonstarsi method in class II students of SDN 2 Ngandong ,Gantiwarno, Klaten The discussion of the description of this research is how the teacher increases the students' ability to carry out demonstrations. The research method used was action research by determining the steps: planning, implementing, collecting data, and reflecting on each step using two cycles. The results of the study from the first cycle only 81.57% or 16 students who scored above the KKM while 18.43% or 5 students got grades below the KKM. Because it has not yet reached the KKM, the researchers proceed to cycle II. In cycle 2 there was a significant increase in which 89.47% of students had mastered the competencies that had been set. Out of the 21 students, 19 students have met the specified KKM. From the results of the implementation of the first cycle and second cycle, it can be concluded that using the demonstration method can improve the learning achievement of the theme "My family" grade II students at SDN 2 Ngandong, Gantiwarno, Klaten.

Abstract

Based on the result of observation and experience in class II SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru found the symptomespecially on the lesson of Civics which showed the lack of interest of student learning on the subjects of Civicsinclude: Majority of children (48.5%) or 17 students from 33 students less attention to the lesson when theteacher explained in front of the class. Of the 33 students, 17 (48.5%) students were less excited or bored by justlooking at the writing without pictures to explain it. The formulation of the problem in this research is Does theuse of media images can increase the interest of learning Civics students class II SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru?The purpose of this study is to determine the appropriate action in the use of image media in order to increasethe interest of learning Civics students class II SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru. This classroom action research wasconducted in the second grade of SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru. Research subjects are all students of class II SDNegeri 157 Pekanbaru with 33 students consisting of 15 students and 18 female students. Based on the results ofthe research note that in the first cycle after improved in cycle II it turns out students' interest in learningincreased with the use of image media. The increase is seen in cycle II. In the first cycle, students' interest inlearning only reached 97 score with 49,0% interest rate indicator, then increase in cycle II reaching score 155with average indicator 78,3%. From the results of research and discussion as described above explains that withthe use of appropriate media images in grade 2 students on the subjects of civic education in SD Negeri 157Pekanbaru then the student activity becomes more active and in turn the students' learning interest becomesbetter. This information proves that the research hypothesis which reads "The use of media images can increasethe interest of learning Civics students class II SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru" received ".

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of applying the skills to open and close lessons in the process of implementing classroom learning. This study aims to describe the teacher's skills in opening and closing learning in the implementation of mathematics learning at SD Negeri 192 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subject of the research was the IV grade teacher named Wiki Destalia, S.Pd.I. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the credibility of the data through triangulation and data analysis techniques, namely data management, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results achieved in this study is that the teacher has implemented the skills of opening and closing lessons in the process of implementing mathematics learning, but there are several indicators on the components opening and closing lessons that are rarely even seen by teachers, such as indicators of student interaction with students very rarely seen, giving rise to motivation that the indicator presents contradictory ideas to provoke students 'interest in learning material and pay attention to students' interests.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of PKN by applying learning methods demonstration and teaching aids of third grade students of SDN 004 Teratak Buluh. This research is a classroom action research that includes activities with stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the increase in student PKN learning outcomes on average students before classroom action research, namely, 66.8 experienced an increase in the first cycle of 76.4 and again increased in the second cycle of 80.4. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the demonstration learning method and the demonstration tool can improve the low PKN learning outcomes of class III SDN 004 Teratak Buluh, District of Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how significant a significant level of scientific influence on student activity. The school which is the object of this research is SMP Negeri 25 Kota Tangerang on Jl. Inpres Raya RT. 003/004 Kel. Gaga Kec. Larangan Tangerang City. The method used in this study is to use t-test testing with the comparative hypothesis testing of two samples to assess whether the effect of an action on behavior or to test whether there is an effect of that action between the Scientific Approach and Student Activity. After the authors conducted t-test testing by testing the comparative hypotheses of two samples. Testing using t-test correlates with the right side test because the alternative hypothesis (Ha) sounds better. Hypothesis testing obtained t-hitung -15.637 and ttabel at position 1.668 which means that there is a high influence of scientific application on the activeness of students in social studies class VIII at SMP Negeri 25 Kota Tangerang

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim: (1) identify the effect of creativity learning model toward natural science subject’s learning outcomes and self-efficacy, (2) identify the effect of creativity learning model toward natural science subject’s learning outcomes, and (3) identify the effect of creativity learning model toward self-efficacy. This research was quasi-experimental research designed of Non-Equivalent Posttest Only Control Group. All fifth-grade classes of cluster I Buleleng district were the research population in total of 209 fifth-grade students from 8 schools. The research sample was determined through simple random sampling technique, obtained 2 schools in total of 59 students that was contained 29 students of SDN 1 Banyuning as the experiment class and 30 students of SDN 8 Banyuning as the control class. Essay test was used the research instrument to gather learning outcomes data, while questionnaire was used to measure self-efficacy. The data analysis was done descriptively to identify mean and standard deviation further tested through MANOVA test. The research findings portrayed: (1) simultaneously, creativity learning model effects in enhancing natural science subject’s learning outcomes and self-efficacy; (2) creativity learning model is able to improve natural science subject’s learning outcomes; and (3) creativity learning model is able to improve self-efficacy. Conclusively, creativity learning model presents has an influence on the aspects studies.
