Abstract

The smart home is a system that aims to change a home has an automation control to increase users comfort, security and energy conservation. The smart home system generally stands alone, there is no integrated system that brings together smart homes. This study is used to build a smart home that is connected between one house and another house, that is, one house can be controlled by one or more houses or can be used by one user, as long as the user has access rights to the controlled house. The design system is used a central server which will be accessed by users to control the houses. Abstract

The determination of the thesis supervisor is very important to note for maximizing the results of the thesis. In the process of completing the thesis, students are usually assisted by a supervisor to direct the completion of the thesis. In determining the supervising lecturer, it must be very concerned, especially according to the field. The determination of the supervisor is determined by the Head of the Study Program, the work must be considered so that it takes time to adjust the thesis title and the expertise of the lecturer. The system that is needed is the Decision Support System for Determining Thesis Supervisors. Making this system starts from observing and searching data, analyzing data to determine aspects and criteria, then design the application flow, database design, design the user interface and then build the system with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and MySQL applications for its database. The final result of this research is to produce a decision support system to determine the thesis supervisor by applying the profile matching method.

Abstract

To supporting daily activities, humans are dependent on the technology. All these activities can take place well if there is a technology that can connect with each other. This technology is called the internet network. For that we need a special management that can regulate the condition of a network to have good quality. Because network quality will affect the productivity of a person. For this reason, we need a standard for measuring network quality known as Quality Of Service (QoS) to maintain the quality of Qos services by monitoring network traffic. In this study, an internet network service on an X topology will be tested. The result is that using QoS analysis produces a number of delays in good categories, the number of packet loss in good categories in scenarios 1 and 2, and the moderate category in scenario 3 and the number low inputput so that it has a good category in scenarios 1, 2 and 3. Based on this condition it can draw the conclusion that the number of delays is directly proportional to the number of packet loss, so that the higher the delay, the more the number of packet loss. While the number of delay and packet loss is inversely proportional to the amount of input in a network condition. Abstract

Competence is the ability or skill possessed through a learning process that is correct in accordance with interests and talents and functions in deciding and doing something in a particular field in the right way. Someone who has competency will be competent in a field, so that the knowledge, skills, talents and interests that are in accordance with the activities / work carried out. Students who have competence will tend to be easier to find and determine the type of work that is available. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan Pembelajaran berbantuan GeoGebra dan Pembelajaran Konvensional pada pokok bahasan Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel di kelas VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, dimana dari dua kelas yang dipilih sebagai sampel yaitu kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kontrol. Dari hasil analisis statistik dengan uji t yang telah dilakukan terhadap kedua kelas maka diperoleh hasil dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung = 3,855. Selanjutnya thitung dikonsultasikan dengan ttabel  dengan dk = 58 diperoleh ttabel = 1,672 ternyata thitung > ttabel hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat diketahui adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan Pembelajaran berbantuan GeoGebra dan pembelajaran Konvensional pada pokok bahasan Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel di kelas VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan.  Dari hasil perhitungan skor rata-rata untuk kedua kelas diperoleh sebagai berikut: pada kelas eksperimen, pada tes akhir diperoleh  = 80,50, SD1 = 13,39. Pada kelas kontrol pada tes akhir diperoleh  = 68,00, SD2 = 12,70. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbantuan GeoGebra lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan Pembelajaran Konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to melakukakan analysis of the effect of the transaction log on a computer based system either on a single system tired, and two tiered through simulated transactions bank system with technology client / server to get a log of transactions on the database system Microsoft Windows SQL Server 2008 R2 management studio a data base. Methods or algorithms are used to analyze the transaction log on the system used is a log-based recovery algorithm.The results based on the analysis, showed that the use of query local database and query the database using sotere procedure to get the transaction log for troubleshooting transactions on the database system via a user interface  is built to help job database administrator (DBA), much more good compared with conventional systems. Based on the experiments that the log of transactions to be controlled, in-undo, Re-do, or Rolled-Back, even deleted if no longer required automatically to maintain the scalability of computer users in the future, by setting the growth of a standard database from 10% to > 32%, and the establishment of a maintenance schedule to ensure that the reserve database is always available and up to date. Keywords : transaction log analysis, computer-based systems, simulated bank system, client / server two-tiered, SQL Server database.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced zone of sport shoes is one of the needs needed to increase comfort in sports activities, sport shoes can also increase one's confidence. Decision Support Systems or DSS is a technique of mathematically based information systems including knowledge-based systems or knowledge management that are used to support making decisions in an organization or company. Abstract

In learning programming languages, students do not always achieve good learning outcomes, even from the results of previous studies indicating the reported failure rate is quite high. Departing from the problem of the high unsuccessful students in learning programming languages, it is necessary to do research to determine the correlation between learning models of programming languages on learning outcomes. By knowing the correlation of learning models to student learning outcomes, it can be revealed which learning model has more dominant contribution to learning outcomes in programming learning, and also the magnitude of the contribution of other factors in influencing learning outcomes outside the learning model. Furthermore, even though previous studies revealed that online learning can replace face-to-face learning, a large number of educational institutions still persist in implementing face-to-face learning models. For this reason, a correlation study between the learning model and student learning outcomes is conducted on face-to-face learning and Java programming online learning. This study found a positive and significant correlation between online learning models and mixed learning on student learning outcomes in learning the Java programming language with a coefficient of determination0.25. So it can be concluded that the variance that occurs in learning outcomes of 25% can be explained in the variables of learning model.In other words, 75% of learning outcomes are influenced not because of the influence of the learning model.

Abstract

For students Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bekasi City especially new learners to rise the next level sometimes lesson material delivered is not easy to understand or often learners feel bored and lazy to understand and read books. Though learning will be fun if we can use interactive media methods. Learning media in the form of interactive animation is used as one of the solutions in the delivery of material for teaching and learning activities, the discussion about learning to know lafazd tajwid so that learners easily absorb and understand the material delivered by teachers or teachers. With the media of learning that is interesting for learners such as interactive animation is expected to improve learning achievement and as a fun learning media. The software used to create this interactive animation is Adobe Flash CS5.

Abstract

Doctoral study programs or S3 courses are demands and requirements for lecturers. Due to the demands of the profession to be more qualified to carry out the tasks of tridharma education, namely teaching, research and community service. In addition, the need for campus accreditation is also to keep it good and getting better. With this motivation, the lecturers try to continue the S3 study program with a scholarship program both government and internal campus. AMIKOM University collaborates with S3 scholarships with UTeM (Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka) and UMP (Universiti Malaysia Pahang). Lecturers who get the scholarship are also selected according to the criteria determined by the YIKYAKARTA AMIKOM University. The party that chooses the lecturer is in the PSDM section. In the election it was still done manually by matching or selecting criteria determined by the campus by fulfilling the criteria possessed by the lecturers who proposed the scholarship program. The method that will be used to select this is the Profile Matching or GAP method, which is one method of solving problems that provide ranking to the alternatives chosen based on predetermined criteria.
