Abstract

Increasing the number of population and the development of activities will cause a growing need for space every day, this will result in physical changes and urban land use and can cause increased intensity of population movement from Megapolitan cities such as Bekasi, Bogor and Tangerang to the Metropolitan city (DKI Jakarta). Some people have now started to move from private vehicles to use public (mass) transportation such as buses, transjakarta, and electric rail trains or commonly known as KRL Commuter Line that serve Jabodetabek routes. The impact of crossing also causes buildup at each station. Train track with a single track (single track) is considered ineffective and inefficient and vulnerable to train accidents due to human error. It is necessary to develop or develop a double track to become a double-double track Bekasi Station km 26 + 652 - Jatinegara Station km 12 + 050. The research location is on the railway line from Bekasi Station to Jatinegara Station. The length of the train track is around 16 km and has 7 stations that are traversed, 5 of which are active (stop) and 2 passive stations.

Abstract

The kalimalang highway is a connecting road between the city of Jakarta and Bekasi, the high mobility of passenger vehicles and goods is a problem of congestion that must be minimized. The volume of vehicles on the Kalimalang highway has increased quite high each year, but this has not been matched by growth in capacity. Therefore the government plants to build the Becakayu toll road to reduce congestion. This study aims to determine bottlenecks that occur due to the construction of an off-ramp on the Becakayu toll road, especially in section 2A, which is located on Jl. Veteran, while the location under review is the intersections affected by the construction of the off-ramp including the intersection of four signaling BCP, intersection of four signaling Veteran and Sarbini unsigned intersection, Data analysis in this study uses the MKJI 1997 method. From this method displays the behavior of traffic, for signal intersections will display signal time, capacity, vehicle stopped ratio, queue length, and average delay and for unsignalized intersections will display capacity, average delay and queue opportunity. From the results of this study it was found that the signaled intersection had an average value of DS > 1, so for the service level at the intersection is the current forced / jammed with low speed. Where the largest queue length occurred 1876.7 m, an average delay of 210.30 SMP/ sec, and vehicles stopped at an average of 7378 SMP/hour. And for unsignalized intersections having an average DS <0.45, the service level at the intersection is a stable flow with operating speed starting to be limited by traffic conditions, this intersection has the greatest queue probability (QP%) 8.48-20.35 in the Saturday time period - afternoon and intersection delay 9.5 SMP / sec.

Abstract

Traffic jams often occur in the city of Surabaya. Due to the increasing population and the desire to have private vehicles, this has led to the need for adequate additional road capacity. However, the frequent increase in road capacity is not enough with the very high growth of road users. Therefore, the Surabaya city government planned an alternative route to reduce the congestion that occurred, one of which was building a rapid mass transportation, the tram, the construction of the tram itself was still in the planning stage, requiring a study of the influence of operational plans on public interest in trams, specifically for motorcyclists. What factors can make motorbike riders divert to the tram. One way to find out how much interest motorbike riders have is to use multiple linear regression methods which require data from road users. Questionnaires are needed to retrieve data and collect samples consisting of 200 respondents. In this study the location of the deployment is in the area that trams are going to plan for, starting from Joyoboo - Jl.Raya Darmo - Urip Sumoharjo - Jl.Basuki Rahmat - Jl.Embong Malang - Jl.Blauran - Jl.Bubutan - Tugu Pahlawan - Jl. Indrapura - Jl. Rajawali. While going south will pass Jl. Heroes - Jl. Gemblongan - Jl, Tunjungan - Jl. Governor Suryo - Jl. Panglima Sudirman - Jl. Urip Sumoharjo - Jl. Raya Darmo - Terminal Joyoboyo

Abstract

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has been one of the most popular transit mode which provides fast and easy access to meet the transportation needs in developing country. It offers the opportunity to create a high-quality mass transit system at affordable cost, which is particularly important for developing countries. Despite of many BRT systems have been implemented in various cities in developing countries, there are a limited number of studies exploring how to increase BRT's ridership. The main goal of this study is to gain insights of Transjakarta and DKI Jakarta's government strategy to improve the BRT performance. It is important to examine the Transjakarta dan DKI Jakarta's government implemented strategies of BRT system along with the policy reforms analysis that affects the ridership. Furthermore, this study also intends to enhance the understanding of the underlying acts that may influence on BRT ridership. Therefore, these act forms can be used as a benchmark for implementing BRT systems in other cities in Indonesia. For this purpose, conceptual frameworks, explaining the relationship between the daily BRT ridership and the potential factors, are developed using information collected from the operational of TransJakarta. This study captured the ridership patterns and data during the last 3 years, from 2017 to 2019. Transport integration as well as increasing network and number of fleets are found to be the main factors which can boost the ridership. In addition, the research presents some inputs to formulate some development strategy for operating BRT which can be applied in other cities, especially in Asia.

Abstract

This research shows that the average number of passengers during the implementation of the PSBB is reduced by 50%, although there are still some Koasi K01A whose number of passengers exceeds the health protocol standard recommended by the government. Respondents considered the feasibility of the K01A Koasi to operate as still quite feasible, because there were still some respondents who still needed this Koasi K01A to travel so that it could be judged that the K01A Koasi was still feasible to operate to serve its passengers, only had to replace the old Koasi units with a newer unit that provides comfort for Koasi K01A passengers. The comfort and safety provided by the K01A Koasi manager are still considered very uncomfortable and safe by respondents.

Abstract

As the population continues to grow, it results in a lot of human mobility. However, the high mobility is not matched by transportation facilities and infrastructure services, especially the sidewalks. One of the areas with existing sidewalk problems is Bekasi Highway KM. 18. The problems that occur are that the sidewalks are used as a place to sell street vendors, are used as illegal parking lots and the unavailability of guide tiles for persons with disabilities. The methodology of this research is carried out by conducting geometric surveys, measuring the volume and travel time of pedestrians to determine service levels and distribute questionnaires to 63 respondents to pedestrians in finding the level of performance and the importance of sidewalk facilities. The processing of this data uses Microsoft Excel and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of the analysis carried out by geometric surveys show that the sidewalks have not met the minimum standards according to regulations. From the measurement results of the volume and travel time of pedestrians, the service level is obtained with category B, as well as the results of the questionnaire related to the level of performance and the importance of sidewalk facilities, namely quadrant I there is Circulation, Climate, Shape, Safety, Cleanliness, Beauty, in quadrant II there is Circulation, Noise, Smells, Cleanliness and in quadrant III there is Circulation, Noise, and Cleanliness.

Abstract

The need for transportation has now become a very meeting thing for residents of a city. Because transportation is a very important means of smoothing the economy of a region. Along with the growing economy of residents in an area, the number of owners and users of private vehicles has also increased rapidly. That needs to be balanced with supporting transportation support facilities. For that we need a solution to reduce congestion by maximizing the benefits of public transportation such as commuter line trains. One thing that can be done is the construction of a Park and ride building as a transportation support facility at Bekasi Station, Bekasi City. To plan a Park and ride building some data is needed. Data obtained from field surveys, namely surveys to obtain the demand value for the arrival of vehicles. The survey was conducted by counting the number of vehicles leaving and entering the Bekasi station parking lot which is divided into two zones, namely the northern zone and the southern zone. The survey was carried out at 06.00 – 21.00 WIB. In the results of data processing using excel, it is obtained the characteristics of Park and ride facilities users and also the number of users demand for park and ride facilities for motorbikes is 676, while for cars is 107 vehicles. of the total demand, a park and ride building is planned to accommodate 1000 motorbikes and 100 cars with 3 floors.
