Abstract

Abstract Accessibility of public transport services is an important element in urban transportation planning. What is important in this accessibility is how public transport can ensure that the services provided can reach as many urban areas served as possible. Yogyakarta, which is experiencing rapid development growth, demands more access to a reliable public transport system. Currently, Trans Jogja is the only mass transit system in Yogyakarta that implements the Bus Rapid Transit system in its operational system. This study aims to determine the accessibility level of Trans Jogja services in the Yogyakarta Urbanized Area using the Point of Interest approach. In this study, buffer analysis is used to determine the service radius of the Trans Jogja bus stop, with the assumption that the maximum distance that a person can tolerate walking is 400 m. From the results of the buffer analysis, it can be determined which areas are within a 400 meter radius and the number of POIs within that radius. The results of this study indicate that only around 52.24% of the Yogyakarta Urbanized Area have received comprehensive Trans Jogja services. Keywords: accessibility; public transportation; point of interest; bus rapid transit; urban area.  Abstrak Aksesibilitas layanan angkutan umum merupakan unsur penting dalam perencanaan transportasi perkotaan. Hal yang penting dalam aksesibilitas ini adalah bagaimana angkutan umum dapat memastikan bahwa layanan yang disediakan dapat menjangkau sebanyak mungkin daerah perkotaan yang dilayani. Yogyakarta, yang mengalami pertumbuhan pembangunan yang pesat, menuntut lebih banyak akses ke sistem angkutan umum yang andal. Saat ini, Trans Jogja adalah satu-satunya sistem angkutan massal di Yogyakarta yang menerapkan sistem Bus Rapid Transit dalam sistem operasionalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur jangkauan layanan Trans Jogja di Kawasan Perkotaan Yogyakarta dengan menggunakan pendekatan Point of Interest. Pada studi ini digunakan analisis buffer untuk menentukan radius layanan halte Trans Jogja, dengan asumsi bahwa jarak maksimum yang dapat ditoleransi oleh seseorang untuk berjalan kaki adalah 400 m. Dari hasil analisis buffer dapat ditentukan wilayah-wilayah yang berada dalam radius 400 meter dan jumlah POI yang berada dalam radius tersebut. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa hanya sekitar 52,24% Kawasan Perkotaan Yogyakarta telah mendapat layanan Trans Jogja secara menyeluruh.. Kata-kata kunci: aksesibilitas; angkutan umum; point of interest; bus rapid transit; kawasan perkotaan.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan wilayah di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta lebih banyak berpusat pada Kawasan Perkotaan Yogyakarta (KPY). Konsentrasi pertumbuhan wilayah ini menimbulkan ketimpangan dan permasalahan lain terkait daya dukung lingkungan di KPY. Pusat-pusat pertumbuhan di luar pusat pertumbuhan eksisting diperlukan, khususnya untuk mengatasi ketimpangan antar wilayah di DIY. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kecamatan-kecamatan yang berpotensi untuk menjadi pusat pertumbuhan di wilayah pesisir selatan DIY. Penentuan pusat pertumbuhan potensial dilakukan dengan melakukan kombinasi analisis skalogram, model gravitasi, dan jumlah serta sebaran penduduk. Hasil dari kombinasi analisis tersebut menunjukkan Kecamatan Wates sebagai kecamatan yang berpotensi untuk berkembang sebagai pusat pertumbuhan primer. Sementara Kecamatan Kretek di Kabupaten Bantul berpotensi untuk berkembang sebagai pusat pertumbuhan sekunder. Kecamatan Saptosari di Kabupaten Gunungkidul menjadi kecamatan yang berpotensi untuk ditetapkan sebagai pusat pertumbuhan tersier.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is one of city in Indonesia which experience urban agglomeration called by Yogyakarta Urbanized Area (YUA). In this paper, identified the characters of each part of YUA by examining its urban form unit. This paper assesses the characteristics of urban forms distributed within YUA. Quantitative measurements were proposed for classifying the urban form typologies. Density, diversity, and accessibility were used to represent the urban form characteristic., the typologies are classified into three groups which are low compact, middle compact, and high compact. The result shows that the majority areas in YUA are grouped into middle compact typology where most of them are located in the city of Yogyakarta administrative area. Meanwhile, the areas, categorized as low compact typology, are in the hinterland area of Yogyakarta. High compact typology are concentrated in the centre of YUA where it has the highest activity concentration for the whole urban structure context. This study discovers that characterizing the urban growth patterns using quantitative method can distinguish urban form. At the end, this paper provides an important note about the distribution of urban form typology in the agglomeration area and, in the future, can be used to design urban policies, especially in the utilization of urban space.

Abstract

Mobilization in urban areas has increased every year along with the population growth and urban's development. Travel behaviors of the population in urban areas can be classified based on their travel characteristics. The identification of communities' travel behavior of Yogyakarta is based on the origin - destination and length of trip based on age characteristics. It will effects the travel patterns in the urban environment through spatial mapping. The method used in this research is critical path method. Critical Path Method (CPM) is used to determine the optimum path taken by the community based on its duration, which in this study CPM is used to determine the average travel of the community based on age groups when viewed from distance, length of trip and the number of daily trips. Based on the analysis, it shows that the average age of 15-22 years and 31-37 years have the highest travel time, which is about 9 hours and the average age of 23-30 years traveled the longest by 12.5 km. The average mobilization of travel behaviors in KPY is to the urbancenter of Yogyakarta. The KPY urban form does not have a compact form.

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan dari pembangunan ekonomi regional adalah untuk meningkatkan sektor perekonomian, khususnya yang dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat luas. Kabupaten Sleman merupakan wilayah dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup pesat. Namun, pertumbuhan ini nyatanya hanya terjadi di sebagian wilayahnya saja, khususnya wilayah yang menjadi kawasan aglomerasi perkotaan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengidentifikasi struktur dan pola pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Sleman; 2) mengidentifikasi tingkat disparitas antar wilayah kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Sleman; serta 3) menganalisis keterkaitan antara struktur ekonomi dan disparitas wilayah. Analisis yang digunakan adalah tipologi Klassen dan indeks Williamson serta analisis korelasi untuk menjelaskan keterkaitan antara struktur ekonomi dan disparitas wilayah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya 3 kecamatan di Kabupaten Sleman yang termasuk dalam kategori wilayah pertumbuhan cepat, yaitu Kecamatan Sleman, Depok, dan Godean. Terdapat hubungan positif antara struktur ekonomi dan tingkat disparitas wilayah kecamatan, khususnya wilayah yang menjadi kawasan aglomerasi dengan kawasan yang bukan merupakan kawasan aglomerasi perkotaan Yogyakarta. Kata kunci: struktur ekonomi, disparitas wilayah, tipologi Klassen, indeks Williamson

Abstract

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has been one of the most popular transit mode which provides fast and easy access to meet the transportation needs in developing country. It offers the opportunity to create a high-quality mass transit system at affordable cost, which is particularly important for developing countries. Despite of many BRT systems have been implemented in various cities in developing countries, there are a limited number of studies exploring how to increase BRT's ridership. The main goal of this study is to gain insights of Transjakarta and DKI Jakarta's government strategy to improve the BRT performance. It is important to examine the Transjakarta dan DKI Jakarta's government implemented strategies of BRT system along with the policy reforms analysis that affects the ridership. Furthermore, this study also intends to enhance the understanding of the underlying acts that may influence on BRT ridership. Therefore, these act forms can be used as a benchmark for implementing BRT systems in other cities in Indonesia. For this purpose, conceptual frameworks, explaining the relationship between the daily BRT ridership and the potential factors, are developed using information collected from the operational of TransJakarta. This study captured the ridership patterns and data during the last 3 years, from 2017 to 2019. Transport integration as well as increasing network and number of fleets are found to be the main factors which can boost the ridership. In addition, the research presents some inputs to formulate some development strategy for operating BRT which can be applied in other cities, especially in Asia.

Abstract

Peningkatan pelayanan transportasi massal di perkotaan seperti Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) akhir-akhir ini menjadi isu utama di kalangan perencana transportasi. BRT telah menjadi salah satu moda transit terpopuler yang menyediakan akses cepat dan mudah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan transportasi di negara berkembang. Di Indonesia, sistem BRT telah diimplementasikan dengan berbagai level penyesuaian terhadap standar BRT. Dua kota besar yang sudah menerapkan sistem BRT adalah Kota Jakarta dengan TransJakarta dan Kota Yogyakarta dengan TransJogja. Meskipun kedua sistem angkutan umum tersebut sama-sama mengusung konsep BRT, namun terdapat perbedaan dalam teknis implementasi sistem yang diterapkan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan studi komparatif terhadap kedua sistem BRT pada TransJakarta dan TransJogja dengan menganalisis keterkaitan antara aspek BRT system level dan performa operasional layanan dengan jumlah penumpang BRT. Metode dengan pendekatan studi kualitatif dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aspek BRT system level dan performa BRT dapat berkontribusi terhadap tingkat ridership BRT. Perbandingan kondisi eksisting layanan kedua BRT berdasarkan beberapa parameter teknis dan operasional digunakan sebagai dasar analisis dalam studi ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya dukungan kebijakan pemerintah, keberadaan sistem angkutan umum massal lain, serta integrasi antar moda menjadi aspek yang dapat meningkatkan jumlah penumpang BRT.

Abstract

The southern coastal region of DIY is one of the Strategic Areas of the Province of DIY. Various efforts from the government to develop the region into a gateway to the DIY economy include building an international-scale airport in Wates Subdistrict and the construction of the Southern Cross Road that passes through all sub-districts located in the DIY coastal area is expected to trigger the emergence of new activities so as to form centers growth center. The purpose of this study is to determine the hierarchy of growth centers in the DIY Coastal region. The approach used is a descriptive quantitative approach with the analysis technique used is a scalogram analysis and centrality index analysis of the analysis it is known that the Primary Growth Center is in the District of Wates, the Secondary Growth Center is in the Kretek District and the Tertiary Growth Center is in the Saptosari Congestion. With the knowledge of the hierarchy in the coastal area it is hoped that development can remain the target.

Abstract

Pengembangan kawasan perbatasan merupakan salah satu isu strategis pembangunan yang termasuk dalam salah satu agenda rencana pembangunan nasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu pengembangan wilayah perbatasan untuk mengetahui arahan strategi prioritas pengembangan wilayah perbatasan Kabupaten TTU. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dan data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari intansi-instansi terkait pengembangan wilayah perbatasan Kabupaten TTU. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT dan analisis Benchmarking. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan arahan prioritas pengembangan wilayah perbatasans Kabupaten TTU berdasarkan analisis diagram SWOT adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Meningkatkan fasilitas pendidikan untuk memperoleh SDM yang terlatih dan terdidik dengan menambahkan fasilitas pendidikan pada wilayah perbatasan yang belum terlayani, 2 ) Perlu peningkatan jalan penghubung antara kedua negara ataupun wilayah sekitarnya guna memperlancar kegiatan ekonomi di wilayah perbatasan, 3) Meningkatkan kerjasama antar dua negara yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran wilayah perbatasan sebagai outlet perdagangan dan jasa dengan menyediakan aksesibilitas dan infrastruktur untuk mendukung perdagangan dan jasa yang ada di wilayah perbatasan.

Abstract

Urban areas are usually limited by territorial restrictions so the available space is very limited. The limited space of the area is crowded with various community activities that are reflected in the allocation and use of land. With the divided territory into various land allocations, to do different activities requires movement between regions. The existence of online application-based transportation also plays a role in changing the form of people's travel behavior in Yogyakarta which of course increases in line with the ease of transportation offered. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the movement of online application-based transportation users based on the purpose of travel conducted by students and the samples taken are students of the campus of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST), Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta (UGM) and Muhammadiyah University yogyakarta (UMY) where these three campuses were chosen because they are considered able to represent the entirety of the total students in the Yogyakarta Urban Area. The analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, chi square analysis and fisher's exact test and also and one-way anova analysis. The results of the analysis showed a relationship between the location of residence and the purpose of travel and mileage and costs that were disbursed and there were differences for the purpose of travel conducted by students based on the location of residence.Keywords: Online Transportation, Travel Behavior, Student Grab Users
