Grid computing is a group of computers that connected to computer network and working together to complete a certain task. The computers inside must be coheren so the processors can work evenly when given a task from server. Grid computing can be used in many areas and purpopes, and in this research it will be used to compile C/C++ program. Compilation is a process to transform a human readable source code into a computer readable code. The compilation process will take place in a personal computer (PC). By using grid system in compilation process, the waiting time of a source code will be reduced as the compilation task will be divided among the computers. For that reason a C/C++ compiler software that using grid computing will be made. The task will be distributed among the computers inside the grid. It can also help someone who want to compile C/C++ source code but he doesn’t have the compiler on his PC.

Tube bending is a general term for the process of forming metals used to form pipes or tubes permanently. By utilizing plastic deformation, straight objects are bent to form arches. Metal pipes in the form of arches can be used as a connection to machine construction, circular ladders, bicycle frames, motor frames, furniture, musical instruments. To improve time and energy efficiency in the bending process, a roll bending machine is designed. This machine is also expected to meet the needs of buckling pipes so that it can be used as a business field by the community. This machine can bend pipes 3/4 inch to 1 inch with a thickness of 1 mm.

This study aims to improve the economic value of farmers' land, so the land can be planted with legumes right by the soil nutrient. Many farming communities are still using the self-taught learning and experience from generation to generation in the determination of the types of legumes were planted them, causing yields are not optimal. And so we need a system that can help farmers to determine the type of legumes matching based nutrient soil to be processed. The study was conducted in the five District in Gunungkidul for data collection in the field. The results of data collection in the field can be a benchmark for decision makers farmers to determine the type of legume crops to be planted based on the criteria of soil nutrients . Criteria are a barometer of determining the type of legumes is the KTK, base saturation, O, Ca, C / N, Magnesium, Carbon. Determining the level of importance of each criterion and to calculate the value of suitability types of legumes based on each of these criteria were analyzed using ELECTRE. With this system the maximum expected agricultural output, thus increasing the economic value of Gunungkidul regency.

Manual material handling (MMH) is one of the most vulnerable forms of activity with the emergence of risk of injury to the body, for example musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This study aims to analyze the work posture carried out by workers at PT. Multitech Advanced Printing Indonesia on the work of moving raw materials. The work includes a series of activities, namely lifting, carrying, and lowering. Of the three activities, lowering was chosen as the most potentially dangerous for workers. This study uses the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method and Manual Task Risk Assessment (ManTRA) to assess the risk of work injury. Based on the results of the QEC method, the value obtained is 59.88% while the ManTRA method gives the highest value of 2 points from the three conditions for the improvement work posture. Both methods assess work posture as dangerous becauses of the bending position of the back

This research is aimed to know the effect of mixing time, mixing speed and curing temperature on morphological and mechanical properties of epoxy-albasia wood fiber composites. The method used in the manufacturing process was hand lay-up method. The fibers with 30 mesh and 25% volume fraction are mixed with epoxy for the time variations of 15 and 45 minutes by speed variation of 695 rpm, 773 rpm, and 853 rpm. In order to investigate the effects of curing temperature, the same mixture was blended manually for 20 minutes and cured with the temperature variation of 40, 50, 60, 70 and 800C. Experimental results show that mixing the fiber and matrix with the speed of 695 rpm for 15 minutes increases the tensile strength but slightly declines the impact strength. This phenomenon could be possibly caused by the longer the mixing time, the higher the amount of foreign particles entered into the mixture that could affect its properties. Both the tensile and impact tests show that the temperature of 80oC is the optimum curing temperature for epoxy-albasia wood fiber composites. Crack deflection presented by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) micrographs results in an increase in the crack propagation path and in the energy-dissipating events in the region immediately ahead of the crack tip.

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is a national national association organization in Indonesia engaged in the field of social, humanitarian and health. The logistics section of the Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) is a warehouse where blood stock is store in, out, or destroyed blood. The importance of blood availability at requires The Indonesian Red Cross requires The Indonesian Red Cross to always maintain the availaibility of blood to meet the need for blood tranfusion . the application of prediction as an effort to control blood supply is considered important. This is needed to minimize the amount of ordering and storing blood that must be borne by The Indonesian Red Cross. For this reson, a precise prediction method is needed in order to produce an accurate estimate of blood supply. In this study the prediction of blood is done using the Weigthed Moving Average (WMA) method, because the patern of stock data and blood demand owned by The Indonesian Red Cross follows the trend data pattern. Comparison of the smallest error value between the 3th-month WMA period and 6th-month WMA selected to be the result of focasting. The results of the average error value (MAD, MSE, and MAPE) show a period of 6 months has the smallest value, although there is a decline in blood type AB, but the difference in the ratio of error values in goldar AB is not too far. This happens because donors or requests for AB goldar are not too many.

At present in developing countries, especially in Puskesmas very rarely encountered health workers, especially specialists. Puskesmas officials often have difficulty in deciding what diseases suffered by children because of lack of knowledge about the types of infectious diseases caused by bacteria. This is where the role of an expert or an expert in the field of childhood disease is needed. External corrosion on mature oil and gas field installation very challenging issues. External corrosion of pipeline riser on tidal zone is the most case for pipeline corrosion [2]. API 5L X52 is familiar pipeline for offshore oil and gas production facilities. Pipeline riser external corrosion on tidal zone have some consequences, time constrain related tidal cycle, production loss, oil spill impact to company reputation, costly maintenance. This research intended to find out effect of tidal cycle and salt water salinity to the rate and type of corrosion on API 5l X52 pipeline riser. Tidal cycle is modeling by wet and dry coupon on salt water. Corrosion rate measure by weight loss coupon. Corrosion product examine by XRD. Chloride contents and oxygen dissolve combination resulting maximum corrosion rate. Oxygen dissolve is main factor to corrosion on salt water. Maximum oxygen dissolve on salt water concentration 3.5% wt. On high salinity salt water corrosion rate depend oxygen dissolve [2]. Tidal cycle has impact to corrosion rate. General corrosion type happen on all coupon with corrosion product component Fe2O3, Fe3O4 examined by XRD.

In recent years, turbine use or pump operation as a turbine (PAT) has become an ongoing alternative to managing Water Distribution Networks (WDNs) in microhydro power generation units. Commercial pumps available on the market have a variety of shapes and models. Generally, pump manufacturers do not provide their pump characteristics curves that work as turbines. This paper presents a theoretical study on the efficiency of pump operation used as turbine (Pump as Turbine). Based on the results of the study, PAT efficiency increases with the specific speed (Nsp) and with special impeller will increase efficiency by 93% 8.07% and 5.45% and efficiency also increased by modifying the thickness of the pump blade.

Postweld heat treatment (PWHT) is a common practice among building codes to reduce the residual stress, improve the ductility, and decrease the defects. This article describes the welding joint property of motorcycle crankcase material by taking tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding measures before PWHT on 200°C with holding time of 0,4,6, 8 hours. Test data were analyzed in relation to tensile strength, hardness and microstructure on the welding joint. The regions corresponding to the base metal (BM) and heat-affected zone (HAZ) were studied. The effect of holding time under PWHT on properties of joints can be investigated. The results demonstrated that micro-hardness in the weld and tensile strength decreased with PWHT time prolonging, while tensile strength increased with the extension of PWHT time. The microstructure before PWHT was coarse in the joint. With the extension of holding time under PWHT, the structure obtains fine grain and the characteristic becomes obvious.
