Tube bending is a general term for the process of forming metals used to form pipes or tubes permanently. By utilizing plastic deformation, straight objects are bent to form arches. Metal pipes in the form of arches can be used as a connection to machine construction, circular ladders, bicycle frames, motor frames, furniture, musical instruments. To improve time and energy efficiency in the bending process, a roll bending machine is designed. This machine is also expected to meet the needs of buckling pipes so that it can be used as a business field by the community. This machine can bend pipes 3/4 inch to 1 inch with a thickness of 1 mm.

The ease of machining a work piece by Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) processes is determined by theory. A method in order to obtain the forecast model which can be used as initial prediction that made the EDM process easier by using an approach between the required energy during machining process and λ, θ, and ρ variables has been developed in this research. A methods used for establishing the formula is Logarithm-Algebra Operations. The formula chosen in this investigation is generated by Logarithm-Algebra Operations which has R2 value of 0.7477. This result shows that the percentage of formula effect on value of total energy of discharge pulses (Et) predicted is 74.77%. Material which has the lowest value calculated using formula is the material that is predicted will be the easiest to be machined so that the suitable electrodes could be determined. Austenitic stainless steel or commonly known as AISI 304 stainless steel has advantages, including good ductility at relatively low temperatures and high resistance to corrosion. These properties make Austenitic Stainless Steel a candidate material for use in pipe fabrication systems, automotive exhaust gas systems and some equipment related to the chemical and nuclear industry. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the variation of welding currents on the strength of the welds in the application of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) on stainless steel. The electrodes used are E308-16 types with current variations of 90 amperes, 100 amperes and 110 amperes. The results showed that the electric current factor in the SMAW welding process greatly influenced the welding results in terms of its strength. The highest mechanical strength was obtained at welding current of 110 Ampere, with a heat input of 976.067 J / mm, an average mechanical strength of 68.438 kg / mm2 for tensile stress and strain of 47.451% in the tensile test, and an average value of hardness of 225.008 HV for hardness test in weld.

Baru-baru ini, kemudahan permesinan benda kerja menggunakan proses ElectricalDischarge Machine (EDM) telah ditentukan oleh teori ?·?·?. Berdasarkan teori ?·?·?kemudahan proses EDM ditentukan oleh konduktivitas termal (?), temperatur titik leleh (?),dan tahanan listrik sebuah material (?). Keuntungan menggunakan permesinan EDM adalahketidakbergantungnya kekerasan sebuah material benda kerja untuk diproses. Namun dariteori ?·?·? dibutuhkan energy yang berbeda untuk memproses 12 jenis material bendakerja. Studi kasus dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa secara dimensional TeoremaBuckingham ? hubungan antara teori ?·?·? dengan sifat fisik kekerasan sebuah material.Proses EDM tidak terlepas dari efek akibat adanya pemberian tegangan dan kapasitansiyang akibat proses ini terjadinya ionisasi yang menimbulkan stokastik termal. Performasebuah material dikaitkan dengan titik leleh material tersebut. Pada saat titik leleh sebuahmaterial tercapai maka akan ada gerakan atom, dimana akan menimbulkan dislokasi dantegangan sisa pada material tersebut. Technology continues to grow. Innovations continue to be developed, one of which is innovation on the type of detergent. Liquid detergents are an option used by today's society. The liquid detergent is more soluble than the solid detergent, minimizing the inhalation of solid detergent powder, and does not cause spots on the washing machine. Yogyakarta which is a city of education, attracts young people to come to study. This has an impact on improving the economy of the community. One of them is a laundry business. The design of this machine is done to save business capital where the laundry entrepreneur can make their own liquid detergent, even become the business field of Small and Medium Enterprises. Liquid detergents produced from these machines are better quality, more viscous and the process of mixing raw materials more quickly together and evenly distributed. The use of this machine saves power and time compared to manual or human power where the manufacturing process can be two hours to three hours to stir 50 liters of liquid detergent.

In this design, the product we want to make is a die for the M 20 ring because the die we designed is helpful for student learning (practicum) at the Mechanical Technology Laboratory. The ring manufacturing process is carried out using one blanking compound dies. The blanking and piercing processes are carried out in one operation, thus saving time and money. This dies planning includes the process of designing dimensions and other supporting tools using the SolidWorks 2017 application. This design aims to produce blanking compound dies designs on press machines for the M20 ring manufacturing process with little or no defects and estimate the cost of making blanking compound dies. The method of analysis using Solidworks 2017 software includes displacement, von misses stress, safety factor. The results obtained from the 2017 SolidWorks analysis are to estimate the wear life of the punch and die to anticipate product failures. The material used in this ring is SAPH440 as defined in JIS 3113, starting from 2 mm to 14 mm. At the same time, the one we use for the M20 ring has a thickness of 2 mm. Based on the dies design calculations and data analysis that has been carried out, it is concluded that the use of blanking compound dies can reduce product defects due to dimensional accuracy in the dies and accelerate the production process of ring making.

The use of carbon steel to meet human needs is increasing every year. Steel is not a rust-resistant material, so it can corrode over time, especially Indonesia is a tropical country that has high rainfall and humidity. Almost all industrial sectors have problems with corrosion. Problems that arise can be in the form of damage, the age of use of goods that do not meet expectations until inadequate safety factors. This study aims to study the effect of low carbon steel coating composition using the PAni-TiO2 composite material. Coating of PAni-TiO2 composite on low carbon steel was carried out by the electrodeposition method on the acid medium and LiCl salt. TiO2 is synthesized by the sol-gel method, while PAni is synthesized by electrochemical polymerization along with electrodeposition. Based on the results of the study of the highest corrosion rate the Plate was produced without inhibitors with a value of 0.007359 mpy, while the lowest corrosion rate was produced by Plate 2 with a value of 0.003666 mpy. The best composition for protecting the Plate from corrosion is 10-3 M PAni and 10-2 M TiO2.

The growth of the automotive industry has made the market demand for motor vehicle spare parts soar, especially motorcycles, including the demand for cylinder blocks. Procedure of this research was carried out to analyze the product of 4 stroke motor cylinder block castings, which include; manufacture of casting product designs, manufacture of gating systems and riser systems. Results and Discussion based on the results of the shrinkage simulation test that has been carried out through the type of sand casting casting with the casting material, namely FCD-600-3 cast iron (1290oC) and the impression material used is silica sand (20oC) with a gravity casting type of casting, it can be concluded that the results of design testing 1 (one) obtained a filling velocity of 1.111 m/s, with a filling time of 3.8 seconds and a required solidification time of 6 minutes. In design 1 (one) there is a shrinkage defect due to shrinkage located on the sprue and riser of 0.336%. While the test results from design 2 (two) obtained a filling velocity of 1.09 m/s, with a filling time of 3.9 seconds and a required solidification time of 5 minutes. In design 2 (two) there is a shrinkage defect due to shrinkage located on the riser and in the cast product of 0.404%. The conclusion of the test results on both designs, it was found that design 1 (one) is the most optimal design for cylinder block casting planning.

Amorphophallus muelleri Bl. atau biasa dikenal dengan nama porang, jika diolah dengan baik dapat menghasilkan banyak manfaat. Secara ekonomi, komoditas porang memang sangat menjanjikan karena memiliki nilai ekonomi terutama untuk industri dan Kesehatan. Porang menjadi bahan baku industrri kosmetik dan bahan makanan rendah kalori favorit, terutama di Jepang dan Korea Selatan. Kelompok Tani Yin Porrang merupakan salah satu kelompok tani porang yang ada di Desa Padarangin, Kecamatan Slogohimo, Kabupaten Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah. Selain masalah produk akhir, pemasaran yang bersifat konvensional menjadi masalah utama untuk pengembangan usaha kelompok tani ini. IST AKPRIND melalui program Matching Fund tahun 2021 menawakan solusi untuk pengembangan prroduk sehingga menambah nilai jual porang. Pelatihan pemasaran digital dan pengembangan web sebagai salah satu sarana pemasaran digital juga dilakukan untuk meraih target pasar yang lebih luas dengan biaya yang lebih rendah dan cara yang lebih terukur.
