Abstract

Steganography is the science of hiding messages into a container without changes detected by the human senses. Cryptography is the science to keeping the message still safe. Combine between Steganography and cryptography can be used, but if there is exchange information still use separately, worry about there is a change in file size, which can result in damage. VoIP is a technology that allows to communicate with use communication lines on a network. VoIP refers more to voice communication. I am utilizing VoIP as a voice communication channel with voice as a medium for inserting secret messages. The research results that steganography techniques can be used with VoIP. By inserting a text message that is first encrypted and then entered into sound by the Least Significant Bit method. The test results, the Alpha testing, and Beta testing, resulted in a percentage above 90%.

Abstract

The importance of communication increases development of information and communication technology in world so rapidly, especially in telecommunications equipment. Mobile phone or smart phone is one type of communication tools that provide communication services to a wide range of features offered but the services offered are not free. Handy Talky is applications and services to communicate for free with the use of smart phones based on Android and has a wifi enable this feature. This communication utilizing wifi network at a frequency of 2.4 GHz as to communication network. Test the application is done by trying on some of the features on a smart phone application with different specifications. From the test produced a smart phone that can run the application properly in some smart phones with Android operating system version 4.2 and above, and the smartphone is connected to a wifi network

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kawasan rawan resiko bencana gempabumi di Propinsi NTB menggunakan metode PSHA untuk mendapatkan peta probabilitas peak ground acceleration secara periodik berdasarkan data gempa terbaru di zona megathrust dan zona background sebagai salah satu upaya mitigasi bencana gempabumi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada data kejadian gempabumi di Propinsi NTB dan sekitarnya selama 116 tahun yang diolah menggunakan software Ez-Frisk 7.52. Kerangka kerja menggunakan metode PSHA dimulai dari tahapan pengumpulan data gempabumi selama 116 tahun pada koordinat -6,33° LS sampai  -11,33° LS dan 112,45° BT sampai 119,83°BT diperoleh dari katalog gempabumi USGS, ISC dan ANSS. Selanjutnya melakukan konversi magnitudo kedalam skala magnitudo momen sebelum dilakukan identifikasi gempabumi menggunakan kriteria Gardner dan Knopoof untuk mendapatkan parameter a-b. Penentuan fungsi atenuasi berdasarkan pemodelan sumber gempa yang ditentukan oleh peneliti, yaitu sumber gempa subduksi interface (megathrust) dan sumber gempa subduksi intraslab (deep background). Perhitungan nilai peak ground acceleration menggunakan dasar teori probabilitas total yang telah dikembangkan oleh Cornell. Hasil percepatan spektra akibat sumber gempa subduksi di Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat berdasarkan analisis probabilistik berkisar antara 0.04 g – 0.1 g untuk periode ulang 500 tahun, sedangkan untuk periode ulang 2500 tahun adalah 0.08 g – 0.3 g. Untuk sumber gempa shallow background berkisar antara 0.1 g – 0.3 g untuk periode ulang 500 tahun, sedangkan untuk periode ulang 2500 tahun adalah 0.2 g – 0.5 g. Sedangakan untuk sumber gempa deep background berkisar antara 0.2 g – 0.3 g untuk periode ulang 500 tahun, sedangkan untuk periode ulang 2500 tahun adalah 0.3 g – 0.4 g.

Abstract

In Petapahan, Kotabatak, and Suram West Area Gathering Station, Hot water shipping system is used as oil shipping system for production. This fluid is highly corrosive and there is no corrosion protection by corrosion inhibition available for this pipeline until now, hence multiple leaks occurred massively since several years ago. This thesis focused in analysis of amine-based corrosion inhibitor with several concentration variations against API 5 L Grade-B corrosion rate in waxy oil fluid inside Petapahan - Kotabatak and Suram West Area – Petapahan Pipeline. Concentration variation that used are 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 ppm while pipe has outside diameter of 4.5 in (114.3 mm) and thickness of 0.237 in (6.02 mm). Corrosion rate analysis conducted using potentiodynamic polarization (Tafel plot). For Petapahan – Kotabatak fluid, corrosion rates are 10.51, 15.85 and 46.60 mpy at temperature of 30, 40 and 50 C. 20 ppm amine-based inhibitor injection at 50 C showed lowest corrosion rate at 46.10 mpy. While for Suram West Area fluid, corrosion rates are 12.19, 12.41 and 29.85 mpy at temperature of 30, 40 and 50 C. 60 ppm amine-based inhibitor injection at 50 C showed lowest corrosion rate at 26.92 mpy. Hardness test conducted also showed a drop in HVN no from 48.39 to 13.74

Abstract

Self-regulation on drug users is the key that they are able to get away from the addiction especially after discharge from rehabilitation. Drugs addict needs self regulation in effort to get away from drugs addiction. In order toimprove self-regulation, researcher had been applying cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). the method used in the study is basic single-case experimental with A-B-A design. The Result of this study is cognitive behavior therapy can improve self-regulation on amphetamine users.

Abstract

Conventional presence system have many limitation, in between difficulties in recording data that can have impact on the controlling from lecturer. In the other conventional presence systems are often fraudulent. This research purpose to design and developing electronic presence system in class room that are effective and efficient. In this research we are use biometric fingerprint sensor. There are several stages in this research. The first stage is the needs analysis to explore data and information and then formulate solutions to existing problems. The second stage is system design which includes system architecture design, system workflow design, data flow design, and database design. The third stage is the implementation of the system using programming languages and database software that is applied to microcomputers. The fourth stage is testing the system using black box testing. The last stage of this system development research is evaluation. This research took a case study at the Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA).

Abstract

Diarrhea is one of the main causes of death in children under the age of 5 years. Based on reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 10 children died of diarrhea with 800,000 deaths per child. When toddlers suffer from diarrhea there are obstacles faced by parents when having to consult a pediatrician, for that we need a system that can store the expertise of an expert in this case a pediatrician in dealing with diarrheal diseases that occur in infants. The K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbor) algorithm was developed in this research expert system. The variables used were 14 symptoms where diarrheal diseases were classified into 6 types. The results of distance calculation show testing data (new cases) No RM 4247 approaching 3 training data (old cases) with a distance value of 2.24. The addition of the calculation of similarity in the calculation strengthens the results of the diagnosis, with the largest similarity value of 79% at No RM 1090, then the testing data (new cases) didignosis mild acute dehydration diarrhea

Abstract

The current industrial development is required to improve the quality of production by continuing to improve the production process in order to continue to compete in the market, both locally, nationally and internationally. This demand also applies to small and medium industries that have limited capital, labor, land and technology. UKM Karya Manunggal is a small business unit that is engaged in making furniture made from bamboo. Problems of SMEs with available land, most areas are used for placement of work in process and placement of materials that should not be used so that it can disrupt the smooth movement of material movement. Mapping the real conditions of Karya Manunggal UKM by using ProModel software can know the description of material handling, input output from each work station and work in process. The closeness relationship between work stations in the initial conditions compared to using Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), resulted in a distance difference of 90.55 meters or changed by 4.94%. The output of a computer simulation results in a change from one process to another that changes. Initial conditions for raw material operators were 99.4% to 59.2%. The operator of the initial condition pattern was 21.9% to 21.2%. The rattan operator had initial conditions of 7.3% to 4.6%. Operators finish initial conditions 2.7% to 2.3%

Abstract

The government self-sufficiency program about Cattle and Buffalo have not been success, because the distributed of livestock is not according with the regulation. It is only used the ecological factor and have not used the other factor like human resource and institutional factor, technology and the development of the region factor, development of infrastructure. This research have been modeling  with Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). Simple additive weighting (SAW) is  one method of MCDM, it used for decide the suitability of location and the result of SAW support by Location Quotient (LQ) for allocation priority of livestock in the region. The result of this research is the combination of methods  SAW and LQ could be implementation and give the right alternative based on priority allocation for the decision maker to allocation the livestock.

Abstract

The goal of writing this scientific work is to explain one of the ways to read Lampung Script using pattern recognition method.  There are three main steps in lampungnese image transliteration, i.e. step to preprocessing, feature extracting, and classifying. Each character is made into a binary image that is as thin as possible and the same size. The feature of every character is extracted using intensity of character. For the classification of this pattern recognition is using 1-Nearest Neighbor. By using 120 data of Lampung’s script in 6 different font, we got the accuracy of success 95%. From this accuracy we consider that the experiment is a success.
