Abstract

         YIQ (Iuma, In-phase, Quadrature) is a color space used to transmit analog TV signal. This research is conducting a possibility test on using YIQ as color features for fruit ripeness classification, which tested on Sunpride bananas. Classification is done using k-NN algorithm against YIQ values of several ripeness stage. The classification process itself consists of two steps: training and testing. In the training step, values from RGB color space of the images as training samples are converted into YIQ and extracted as features to form the classes, while in testing step, the test image went through the same conversion and feature extraction process, then classified using k-NN against the classes’ features, using k=3 and k=1. There are 120 Sunpride banana images used as test objects, and the results obtained shown that the classification performance using k=3 for Sangat Matang class is 100%, Busuk class is 66,67%, Mengkal class is 60% and Matang class is 60%. Results using k=1 for Sangat Matang class is 100%, Busuk class is 66,67%, Mengkal class is 66,7% and Matang class is 56,67%.Keywords  : Classification, YIQ Color Space, Banana Sunpride, Euclidean Distance, k-Nearest Neighbors

Abstract

Transaksi jual beli secara daring sekarang banyak dimanfaatkan pelaku bisnis, salah satunya adalah Peer-to-Peer e-commerce melalui online shop. Dengan adanya online shop, konsumen tidak perlu repot-repot mendatangi toko konvensional dalam mendapatkan barang. Namun berbelanja menggunakan online shop memiliki resiko diantaranya rawan penipuan, produk yang telah dipesan dan dibayar tidak dikirim dan kualitas produk tidak sama. Walaupun banyak permasalahan yang menimbulkan kerugian yang dialami konsumen namun pada kenyataannya hal tersebut tidak mengurungkan konsumen untuk tetap belanja melalui daring. Tujuan peneliti untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap niat beli menggunakan Peer-to-Peer platform media sosial dalam berbelanja daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisis data menggunakan Stuctural-Equation-Modelling dengan software Partial-Least-Square. Dengan sampel 100 orang menyimpulkan manfaat ekonomi dan kelanjutan pembelian adalah penentu kepuasan dan niat beli konsumen. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan niat dan kepuasan pelanggan pada konteks akomodasi dan transportasi daring dapat digeneralisasi pada konteks belanja daring Peer-to-Peer meskipun terdapat perbedaan temuan.

Abstract

Soaking and cleaning raw material soybeans is one of manual material handling of tofu proces. In this process, operators lift the water with a hunched position, regardless of their health, comfort, and safety, then finally will impact to lower back pain. This research aims to design a ergonomic table of raw materials soybean based on anthropometry operators by  Quick Exposure Check at UKM Tahu Sumedang. The data collection is done by field studies, interviews with workers, such as questionnaires and anthropometric data for example posture of workers that covers the back, arms / shoulders, wrists, and neck to do data processing using QEC method (quick exposure check). The result is shown that the average percentage of exposure level for six workers was 72% that need action to be taken, namely improvement of working table. The design size of working table using ergonomic wastafel  principles which anthropometric measurements for arm  = 67.01 cm, long-range hand = 167.30 cm, standing elbow height = 122.94 cm. The percentage of QEC after improvement is decrease become 36%, it means design can reduce complaints and taste below the maximum % QEC (40%)

Abstract

Estimated damage levels from ballistic impact zones provide valuable information to make bulletproof materials more effective. This study aims to determine the impact of ballistics including deformation and energy absorption in fiber metal laminates (FMLs) that collide with 9 mm FMJ caliber bullets at speeds of 426 m/s. Finite element method modeling is done using ANSYS 18.1 workbench software. The simulation results show that FMLs can hold the bullet rate with deformation on the back of the target (DOPIII) of 8,55 mm and total energy absorption of 426,59 J at 0,000095 s. The combination of two materials, Al 5083 in the outer layer and kevlar/epoxy as the core, results in faster energy absorption and maximum stress concentrations only occur in the kevlar/epoxy so there is no damage to the first and subsequent layers.

Abstract

Advances in technology make speech recognition improve. But does speech recognition recognize the sounds of cleft lip and palate? this research uses the voice of cleft lip and palate to normal voice. With the letter / b / which is the letter for lip articulation. Words used include Clothes, Ash and Moist. The extraction method uses Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC), the classification uses K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) with K-Fold Cross-Validation as a test. The results show the accuracy above 70%. 75% in the word "Baju". 75% in the word "Abu". 83% in the word "Lembab".

Abstract

The use of fossil energy sources for electric power generation tends to increase while the availability of fossil energy is very limited. New renewable energy sources promise solutions for human dependence on fossil energy sources Dependence on fossil energy will have an impact on the high cost of distributing electricity to remote areas. The picohydro power plant using a very simple savonius hydrokinetic turbine is one of the solutions for remote areas. The purpose of this paper is to obtain the optimum design of the blade hydrokinetic savonius with a relatively easy design method. Based on the results of the study, the geometry and design of savonius hydro quatern turbine are able to produce power coefficient (CP) 13.99 with specification of aspect ratio H / D = 1; end plate Do / D = 1,1; turbine diameter (D) = 82 mm and plate thickness 2 mm, number of blade 3 and twist angle (α) 150.

Abstract

Laundry is business engaged in services that are now commonly found. The high demand for laundry services makes laundry owners in Sungai Bambu, North Jakarta look for ways to keep transaction records neatly organized and not lose records or damage that is often experienced by customers or owners. In addition, employees must calculate the total price of the weight of the items to be washed, so that it takes a long time. Laundry also provides a variety of laundry services that can be added at any time. Besides making manual reports. To overcome this, laundry service information system is designed using the waterfall method built with Visual Studio as an interface and SQL Server as data storage. Design of this information system will make it easy to collect transaction data and minimize data loss or damage, generate automatic reports, and can perform special laundry services.

Abstract

The understanding of safety needs to be emphasised to every Airman. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an Aircraft Safety application utilising interactive and interesting multimedia which able to helps not only pilots but also ground crew in understanding safety subject mentioned. Development of Aircraft System application based on Adobe Flash displays 4 (four) option menu as follows general information, subject, quiz, and biography. User also able to assess their understanding of Aircraft Safety subject utilising quiz menu that displays their score. Aircraft Safety functionality test using black box testing yielded excellent result. Aircraft Safety application evaluation was done by conducting direct test and survey which involve 30 students of Air Force Flying School with 3 (three) assessment which are effectivity, efficiency, and satisfaction. User agreed and gave average score for each aspect as follows 4.63 for effectivity, 4.53 for efficiency, and 4.52 for satisfaction with the scale of 1 to 5.

Abstract

One important factor in influencing the progress and decline of an industry is the performance factor. Performance issues are not only important for middle-to-upper-level companies and large companies, but also important for small and medium industries such as the batik craft industry in the Wukirsari region, Bantul. Given the importance of performance, researchers tried to design a performance measurement model of the batik craft industry in the Wukirsari region, Bantul with the aim of identifying performance criteria, determining performance indicators, formulating performance indicators, and making performance measurement instruments. The steps in this study are divided into four phases, namely the initial research phase and problem formulation, the design phase, the analysis phase and the conclusion phase. The initial research phase and problem formulation include, the profile of the batik craft industry in the Wukirsari region, Bantul, the current performance evaluation system, problem formulation and research objectives. The design phase includes the design process of the performance measurement model with the Balanced Scorecard method which includes setting strategic objectives, establishing performance indicators (key performance indicators), determining performance indicator formulas, making performance measurement instruments. Analysis phase includes KPI analysis and strategy map analysis. Conclusion phase includes conclusions from the results of research and suggestions for the batik craft industry in Wukirsari, Bantul. From the results of the study obtained four performance perspectives based on the balanced scorecard, namely financial, customer, internal business processes, learning and growth. five, namely: increased sales growth, high customer satisfaction, improved system and better work processes, the creation of a good work climate, and increased employee productivity.There are seven performance indicators formed, namely: the rate of sales growth, the level of customer satisfaction, level of compliance with customer complaints, percentage of defective products, number of new products, level of job satisfaction, and employee productivity. The establishment of a performance measurement worksheet, so that the performance values of each performance indicator and total performance can be known in a certain period.Keywords: Performance, Measurement, Batik

Abstract

The air-zinc battery uses oxygen from the atmosphere to produce electrochemical energy. After opening the battery into the air, oxygen diffuses into the cell and is used as cathode reagent. The air passes through the cathode to the active surface of the interior cathode in contact with the electrolyte liquid, namely sea water. On the active surface, the air cathode catalytically encourages the reduction of oxygen in the electrolyte liquid. This study aims to determine the effect of zinc anode on air batteries that are in direct contact with activated carbon as a source of electrical energy and find out the influence of electrolyte of seawater as an alternative source of electrical energy in air batteries. The research method uses Volta cells. Other advantages are safety and ecological benefits and low energy costs, as well as maximum power capability on environmentally friendly tolerance. In this study four salinity salinity was used, namely salinity of 3.56%, salinity of 3.99%, salinity 4.60% and salinity 5.02%. The results obtained are the highest voltage 1.144 Volt and the highest current of 4.85 mA is found in salt water salinity 5.02%.
