Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah tiga buah cerita lisan  masyarakat Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan, yang bertema sama tetapi memiliki versi berbeda. Sastra lisan ini berjudul ?Asal Mula Batu Hapu? dari Kabupaten Tapin, ?Asal Mula Sungai Pagat? dari Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah, dan  ?Gunung Batu Bangkai? dari Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan. Ketiga sastra lisan tersebut bertema kedurhakaan seorang anak kepada ibunya. Ketiga sastra lisan ini dianalisis menggunakan teori struktural fungsional yang dikemukakan oleh A.J. Greimas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga sastra lisan tersebut memiliki alur dan isi cerita yang tidak jauh berbeda, baik dari segi  penokohan maupun unsur struktur lainnya.  Amanat yang diberikan juga senada. Namun, penutur  berhasil memanfaatkan keadaan geografis tempat penutur berada untuk dijadikan objek cerita.Abstract:This study tries to examine three Banjarese oral stories with similar themes but in differ- ent versions and origins. The story entitles  Asal Mula Batu Harpu (The Origin of Hapu Stone) of the district Tapin, Asal Mula Sungai Pagat (The Origins of Pagat River) from Hulu Sungai Tengah, and Gunung Batu Bangkai (the Rock Wreck ) from of Hulu Sungai Selatan  District. The theme of this story is the iniquity of a child to the mother. The writer tries to study the three stories through the structural analysis The result of the research shows that the plot and the content of the story is not very different either in terms of character or other aspects. The moral given value  is also similar. The writer also uses the geography in which the author live as the object of the story.
