Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in elementary school students’ science process skills when using the Guided Inquiry learning model compared to the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving two experimental classes at SD Negeri Sidomulyo 04. Experimental class 1 used the Guided Inquiry model, while experimental class 2 applied the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR ). Data on science process skills were collected through tests (pretest and posttest), questionnaires, and observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using an independent sample t-test to examine differences between the two groups. The results of the study indicate a significant difference between the science process skills of students taught using the Guided Inquiry model and those taught using the AIR model, with a significance value of 0.025 (<0.05). The posttest average score of the Guided Inquiry class was 77.38, higher than the AIR class, which scored an average of 72.68. Questionnaire and observation results also show that students’ engagement and science process skills were better in the Guided Inquiry group. These findings suggest that the Guided Inquiry model is more effective in improving science process skills because it provides learning experiences based on investigation, experimentation, data analysis, and drawing conclusions directly. This study concludes that the Guided Inquiry model is more effective than the AIR model in developing elementary students’ science process skills, making it a recommended learning model for science instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi pada mahasiswa yang menjalankan peran ganda sebagai caregiver bagi anggota keluarga. Mahasiswa caregiver kerap menghadapi tekanan akademik dan beban perawatan secara bersamaan, sehingga meningkatkan risiko stres emosional dan kelelahan psikologis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dukungan sosial berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan resiliensi mahasiswa caregiver. Sebanyak 232 partisipan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS) dan Resilience Quotient Scale (RQ Scale). Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial secara signifikan memprediksi resiliensi mahasiswa caregiver (R = 0.635, R² = 0.403, p < 0.001), dengan kontribusi sebesar 40.3% terhadap variasi resiliensi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan sosial merupakan faktor protektif penting yang membantu mahasiswa caregiver beradaptasi secara lebih efektif dalam menghadapi tekanan peran ganda. Dengan demikian, penguatan sistem dukungan sosial diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa caregiver.

Abstract

In Batang Hari Regency, the sport of Petanque has shown positive development with the coaching of novice athletes by local clubs and sports federations. However, in practice, several problems have been identified, such as low athlete attendance at training sessions, a lack of seriousness in following the programme that has been drawn up, and a decline in enthusiasm when experiencing failure in competitions. This condition indicates that there are challenges in fostering the motivation of novice athletes that must be overcome by coaches by playing their role to the fullest. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of coaches in fostering the motivation of novice Petanque athletes in Batang Hari Regency. This study uses qualitative research because qualitative research methods allow researchers to gain a deep understanding of the issues being studied and answer research questions. In this study, the author took the coach as the key informant and the assistant coach and Batanghari Regency petanque athletes as supporting informants. The results of the study indicate that the role of coaches in fostering motivation among novice petanque athletes in Batang Hari Regency is very good in the intrinsic category for 7 people with a percentage of 7%, good in the category for 11 people with a percentage of 73%, and moderate in the category for 3 people with a percentage of 20%. The Role of Coaches in Fostering Motivation Among Beginner Petanque Athletes in Batanghari Regency Extrinsic indicators: 3 people in the excellent category with a percentage of 20%, 10 people in the good category with a percentage of 67%, and 2 people in the moderate category with a percentage of 13%. The role of coaches in fostering motivation among novice petanque athletes in Batang Hari Regency as a whole: 1 person in the excellent category with a percentage of 7%, 13 people in the good category with a percentage of 86%, and 1 person in the moderate category with a percentage of 7%. The conclusion of this study is that the role of coaches in fostering motivation among beginner petanque athletes in Batang Hari Regency is good for 13 people with a percentage of 86%.

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter sopan santun pada jenjang sekolah dasar merupakan fondasi penting bagi perkembangan moral, etika sosial, dan kepribadian siswa. Penurunan perilaku sopan santun yang dipengaruhi arus digitalisasi dan berkurangnya praktik pembiasaan nilai di lingkungan sosial menuntut sekolah memperkuat pendidikan karakter secara sistematis. Temuan umum menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan dan konsistensi guru merupakan faktor paling dominan dalam keberhasilan pembentukan karakter pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam pembentukan karakter sopan santun pada siswa SDN Lirboyo 1 Kediri melalui praktik keteladanan, pembimbingan, dan pembiasaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data dipastikan melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik untuk memperoleh gambaran implementasi karakter secara akurat. Penelitian menghasilkan satu temuan utama, yaitu peran guru terbukti sangat sentral dan efektif dalam membentuk karakter sopan santun siswa. Guru memberikan keteladanan nyata melalui tutur kata, ekspresi, dan tindakan sehari-hari yang santun. Guru juga melakukan pembimbingan melalui teguran edukatif, penguatan positif, serta pendampingan personal. Pembiasaan seperti salam pagi, doa bersama, literasi pagi, antre teratur, dan penggunaan bahasa sopan menjadikan nilai kesantunan terinternalisasi sebagai rutinitas. Pembentukan karakter sopan santun di sekolah dasar tidak dapat dipisahkan dari keteladanan guru. Keteladanan, pembimbingan, dan pembiasaan bekerja sinergis menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung internalisasi nilai moral. Meskipun penelitian dilakukan pada satu sekolah, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa komitmen guru merupakan faktor kunci keberhasilan pendidikan karakter secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Study This aim analyze How application of the SAVI learning model in increase activity Study participant students in science learning with with the help of wordwall media at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. Subject study is student Class IV of MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with approach qualitative and quantitative. The instruments used in study covering sheet questionnaire, observation and documentation. Research considered succeed if at least 75% of students has reach level activity Study with category active. Research This implemented in two cycles, each cycle consists of from two meetings with stages planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research results show that in cycle I the activity Study participant educate reached 69,6% while in cycle II it increased to 77,6%. Achievement This has exceed criteria success that has been determined. With Thus, the application of the SAVI learning model assisted by word wall media proven effective in increase activity Study participant educate class IV at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The background of this study stems from the absence of instructional media used by woodcraft educators, the underutilization of available facilities, and the lack of experience in developing learning media tailored to the needs of students with hearing disabilities. This research aims to analyze the need for interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline for students with hearing impairments in woodcraft learning at SLB Negeri 2 Padang. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a Research and Development (R&D) approach focusing on the needs analysis stage the findings reveal that woodcraft learning has been limited to practical activities without theoretical instruction. Both teachers and students expressed the need for media that supports better understanding of woodcraft concepts, such as interactive Articulate Storyline based learning media aligned with multimedia learning theory. The study highlights the importance of developing such media to enhance learning for students with hearing disabilities

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi pada era digital dan Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) beradaptasi agar relevan bagi peserta didik generasi digital. Kurikulum dan pembelajaran PAI SMP tidak lagi memadai jika tetap mengandalkan pendekatan tradisional, sebab siswa membutuhkan literasi digital, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kesiapan menghadapi dinamika sosial-teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan model konseptual inovasi kurikulum dan pembelajaran PAI 4.0 melalui studi pustaka berbasis artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional yang dapat diakses terbuka, mencakup digitalisasi pembelajaran, blended learning, kurikulum PAI adaptif, serta tantangan transformasi digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi media digital, blended learning, flipped classroom, dan platform interaktif efektif meningkatkan keterlibatan serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi keagamaan, sekaligus membuka peluang harmonisasi nilai-nilai keislaman dengan tuntutan modernitas. Namun hambatan masih signifikan, terutama rendahnya literasi digital guru PAI, keterbatasan fasilitas, dan risiko menurunnya kedalaman spiritual jika inovasi tidak diimbangi pendekatan berbasis nilai. Artikel ini menawarkan model kurikulum PAI 4.0 yang mencakup kurikulum adaptif, integrasi teknologi pembelajaran, penguatan kompetensi digital guru, evaluasi holistik, dan dukungan infrastruktur, sehingga pembelajaran PAI tetap relevan, kontekstual, dan menjaga substansi nilai keislaman.

Abstract

The problem in this study is: how is the implementation of the role of the folktale Gua Puteri in shaping the character of Grade V students at SDN 129 OKU? This research aims to determine how character formation, particularly the development of a sense of responsibility, is built among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 129 Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results, this research discusses the analysis of students’ understanding of responsibility at the elementary school level using the Gua Puteri folktale book as a learning medium. With a total of 20 students, it was concluded that the level of responsibility in this school is relatively good: 4 students (20%) showed a moderate level of responsibility, while 16 students (80%) demonstrated good responsibility. Overall, the majority of students (80%) showed a strong sense of responsibility, indicating the success of the applied learning approach. However, 20% of the students still require additional attention and guidance to further enhance their sense of responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of physical fitness activities on students’ motor development and physical health through a literature review approach. The analysis was conducted using ten national journal articles published between 2022 and 2025. The findings indicate that physical fitness activities significantly improve fundamental motor abilities such as strength, agility, balance, coordination, and reaction speed. Fitness activities also contribute to the development of fine motor skills that support students’ academic performance. In terms of physical health, fitness exercises enhance cardiorespiratory capacity, flexibility, core muscle strength, body metabolism, and reduce the risk of obesity. These findings highlight that physical fitness activities are essential components in the educational process and should be applied in a structured manner to support students’ optimal growth and development.

Abstract

Based on observations of SSB Esa Pratama football players during inter-club matches, it was evident that players experienced fatigue, particularly in the second half. Their movements in the second half often resulted in the ball being easily taken by their opponents. At present, the physical condition of the athletes is unknown. The purpose of this study is to determine the physical condition of 13-15-year-old SSB Esa Pratama football players in 2025. This is a descriptive study, and the sample used in this study is a total population sample because the population size is relatively small, so the entire population of 18 people was used as the sample. Based on the analysis of the 50-metre running fitness test results from 18 people, 8 people were in the good category with a percentage of 44%, 7 people were in the moderate category with a percentage of 39%. Three individuals were classified as poor, representing 17% of the sample. Based on the sit-up fitness test results from the 18 individuals, 8 individuals were classified as good, representing 44% of the sample, while 10 individuals were classified as moderate, representing 56% of the sample. The physical condition of the vertical jump test of 18 people showed that 1 person was in the good category with a percentage of 6%, 15 people were in the moderate category with a percentage of 83%, and 2 people were in the poor category with a percentage of 11%. The physical condition of the Shuttle Run test of 18 people who had a good category was 4 people with a percentage of 22%, who had a moderate category was 12 people with a percentage of 67%, who had a poor category was 2 people with a percentage of 11%. The physical condition of the Sit and Reach test of 18 people showed that 7 people were in the good category with a percentage of 39%, 9 people were in the moderate category with a percentage of 50%, and 2 people were in the poor category with a percentage of 11%. The physical condition of the endurance test with the bleep test of 18 people showed that 1 person was in the good category with a percentage of 6%, 10 people were in the moderate category with a percentage of 56%, and 7 people were in the poor category with a percentage of 39%. The conclusion of this study is that the 13-15-year-old football players of SSB Esa Pratama in 2025 are in the moderate category with a percentage of 56%.
