Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Budget constraints are one of the main challenges faced by remote schools in efforts to improve the quality of education. These limitations hinder the provision of facilities, learning media, and teacher competency development required for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Although the School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund serves as the primary source of funding, few studies have thoroughly examined budget efficiency strategies implemented by remote schools with various limitations. A research gap exists in the lack of a financial management model that integrates efficiency, accountability, and community participation simultaneously in small schools. This study aims to analyze budget efficiency–based financial management strategies applied in schools and to assess how transparency and community involvement support the improvement of education quality. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using Miles & Huberman’s interactive model: data reduction, data display, and verification. The results indicate that budget efficiency is achieved through planning based on actual needs, targeted use of funds for learning priorities, and optimization of local resources. Routine financial transparency strengthens accountability and enhances community trust. Collaboration with local residents and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs helps reduce operational costs and expand support for educational programs. This study contributes to the development of a school financial management model based on efficiency, accountability, and participation. The findings can serve as a reference for schools with similar economic and geographical conditions to establish an effective and sustainable financial management system to improve education quality.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the animated film Jumbo on the understanding of social problem concepts among children aged 5-6 years at TK Kartika II-3 Palembang. The research used a quantitative one-group pretest-posttest design involving 15 children. Data were collected through structured observation sheets assessing three indicators: the ability to recognize problematic situations, identify causes and consequences, and provide simple solutions. The results showed a clear improvement after the intervention. The average pretest score was 12.53 and increased to 20.73 in the posttest, with a gain of 8.20 points. The Shapiro-Wilk test confirmed that both pretest (Sig. 0.071) and posttest (Sig. 0.239) were normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of <0.001 with t = -13.575, indicating a highly significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The research instrument also demonstrated high reliability with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.951. These findings confirm that the Jumbo film effectively enhances children’s understanding of social problems by presenting concrete visual situations that help them identify conflicts, understand cause-and-effect relationships, and express appropriate responses. The study concludes that the Jumbo film is a suitable audio-visual medium to support social learning and character development in early childhood education.

This study was motivated by the low learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Mastur, which was caused by monotonous, teacher-centered learning. One proposed solution is the use of YouTube Kids, an application that provides child-friendly and visually engaging educational content. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using YouTube Kids learning videos on students' learning motivation. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, namely the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects were 22 fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a learning motivation questionnaire with a Likert scale, tested for validity and reliability. The research stages included administering a pretest, applying the treatment using YouTube Kids videos, and conducting a posttest with questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with a One Sample t-Test at a 0.05 significance level. The results showed that the average score of students' learning motivation increased to 70.82 with a standard deviation of 2.86, categorized as "very good." The t-test result was 9.556 with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the use of YouTube Kids videos significantly improved learning motivation. Therefore, YouTube Kids can serve as an effective alternative medium to create interactive, enjoyable, and age-appropriate learning for elementary students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi edukatif dan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar projek kreatif dan kewirausahaan siswa kelas XI Bisnis Digital SMK Negeri 1 Binjai T.A 2024/2025. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah interaksi edukatif dan berpikir kreatif sebagai variabel bebas dan hasil belajar sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Bisnis Digital SMK Negeri 1 Binjai T.A 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 66 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling, yaitu sampel dari keseluruhan populasi dengan sampel sebanyak 66 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara interaksi edukatif dan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar projek kreatif dan kewirausahaan siswa kelas XI Bisnis Digital SMK Negeri 1 Binjai T.A 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi edukatif dan berpikir kreatif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar projek kreatif dan kewirausahaan siswa kelas XI Bisnis Digital SMK Negeri 1 Binjai T.A 2024/2025. Adapun besar pengaruh antara keduanya yaitu sebesar 23% yang ditunjukan oleh nilai koefisien deteminasi (R Square) sebesar 0,230.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Buku Materi Pokok (BMP) EKMA4315 Cost Accounting in improving students’ conceptual understanding and application of cost accounting within the distance learning system of Universitas Terbuka. A quantitative descriptive method was employed involving 350 students enrolled in the EKMA4315 course. Data were collected through comprehension tests and a Likert-scale questionnaire assessing the effectiveness of the BMP. Validity testing confirmed 23 out of 25 test items as valid, while reliability testing produced a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.876, indicating strong internal consistency. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ scores, from a mean of 55.40 (pre-test) to 78.50 (post-test), supported by the paired sample t-test (t = 38.72; p < 0.000). The N-Gain value of 0.52 reflected a moderate level of effectiveness, and the reduction in score variability demonstrated more equitable learning outcomes. Regression analysis showed that 57.2 percent of the variance in post-test scores was explained by pre-test performance. Students’ perceptions toward the BMP were positive, with an overall mean score of 4.10. The study concludes that BMP EKMA4315 is effective in supporting independent learning within a distance education context. Recommendations include enhancing content quality and case-based materials, integrating interactive digital features, and strengthening tutorial support to further optimize learning outcomes.

This study analyzes the judge’s considerations in a criminal fraud case involving an LPG depot business based on Decision No. 851/Pid.B/2024/PN Tanjung Karang. The research applies normative and empirical legal approaches by examining the elements of Article 378 of the Indonesian Criminal Code and the legal, sociological, and philosophical grounds used by the judge in rendering the verdict. The findings indicate that all elements of fraud were fulfilled, including the intention to unlawfully gain personal benefit, the use of deceit, and actions inducing the victim to hand over IDR 50,000,000. The judge imposed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months, considering valid evidence, the victim’s losses, and the broader social impact. This study highlights the importance of transparent judicial reasoning and recommends strengthening oversight of LPG depot licensing processes to prevent similar fraudulent practices in the future.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kebijakan politik dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat di Desa Bandar Setia, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Kebijakan politik dipahami sebagai instrumen strategis pemerintah desa dalam merencanakan, mengimplementasikan, serta mengevaluasi program-program pembangunan yang berfokus pada kebutuhan masyarakat. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi guna memperoleh data mendalam mengenai pelaksanaan kebijakan politik desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah desa telah menjalankan berbagai program seperti perbaikan infrastruktur, pelaksanaan kegiatan posyandu, penanganan stunting, serta penyaluran bantuan sosial yang dinilai cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup warga. Meskipun demikian, beberapa hambatan masih muncul, terutama terkait rendahnya pemahaman sebagian masyarakat mengenai kewenangan desa serta ketidakterlibatan penuh masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan. Secara keseluruhan, kebijakan politik yang diterapkan terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan sosial, namun masih memerlukan peningkatan dari aspek partisipasi publik dan optimalisasi tata kelola pemerintahan desa.

This research is motivated by the limited use of digital learning media in elementary schools, particularly in Pancasila Education, which often results in low conceptual understanding and weak development of national identity values. This study aims to develop an interactive multimedia using Articulate Storyline and to examine its effectiveness in improving conceptual understanding and students’ patriotic character. The ADDIE model was employed, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was validated by material and media experts, and its effectiveness was tested using a pretest–posttest control group design. Data were analyzed through normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain score. Results indicated that the multimedia was highly feasible with expert validation scores above 90%. The normality and homogeneity tests met parametric assumptions. The independent t-test revealed a significant difference (Sig. < 0.05) in posttest scores between the experimental and control groups. The N-Gain score in the experimental class was categorized as moderate–high, indicating meaningful improvement. Students’ patriotic character also increased based on observation results. In conclusion, the Articulate Storyline–based multimedia is effective in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and patriotic character in elementary school Pancasila Education

This study designed a numeracy test instrument using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage involved gathering and reviewing needs as the basis for product development. The design stage focused on developing the initial draft. The development stage then included expert assessment and small-group trials. The product was then implemented in a broader implementation stage, with an evaluation stage reviewing each step to ensure product quality. Validation results showed that the instrument received a “very valid” category from the media and materials validators, with an average score of 4.5 and a percentage of 91%. The language validator gave an average score of 3.7, categorized as “valid.” In terms of practicality, teachers gave an average score of 5, categorized as “very practical,” and students in both small and large trials also responded as “very practical.” Therefore, the Quizizz-based numeracy instrument was declared valid, practical, and feasible to implement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kebijakan parkir berlangganan berbasis barcode di Kecamatan Medan Area, Kota Medan. Kebijakan ini ditetapkan melalui Perda No. 1 Tahun 2024 untuk mengurangi parkir liar, pungutan liar, serta meningkatkan transparansi pendapatan daerah. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan meliputi petugas Dinas Perhubungan, juru parkir, dan pengguna parkir berlangganan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan tidak berjalan efektif karena ketiadaan alat pemindai barcode, minimnya sosialisasi, lemahnya pengawasan, serta penolakan juru parkir. Akibatnya pengguna barcode tetap dikenai pungutan manual. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyediaan perangkat pemindai, pelatihan teknis, peningkatan pengawasan, serta perbaikan sistem digital agar kebijakan dapat diterapkan secara optimal.
