Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the influence of information services with social interaction problem solving techniques to improve students' self-adjustment. This research method uses an experimental method with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study totaling 148 students. The research sample was taken using a random intact group sampling with a sample size of 28 students. The data collection technique used a self-adjustment questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data analysis technique uses a t-test (paired sample test show an increase in students' self-adjustment after being given this treatment in the form of information services with techniques problem solving with a value of t = -14.333 with a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000. This means that there is an influence of information services with social interaction problem solving to improve self-adjustment. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of content mastery services to improve self-regulated learning skills in class VIII students of Junior High School Number 3 Bengkulu City. This research used quantitative experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study was 141 students, the sampling technique used intact group random sampling with a total of 25 students. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using t-test and the results of this research show a significant influence of content mastery services on improving self-regulated learning. The average self-regulated learning before being given content mastery service treatment was in the medium category and after being given content mastery service treatment was in the high category. Based on the research results, it is recommended that guidance and counseling teachers be able to use content mastery services to improve self-regulated learning skills. Abstract

This article delves into the detrimental effects of excessive internet usage as a primary cause of PIU and its negative impact on the life balance of adolescents. Employing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) as a therapeutic approach, the article elaborates on how CBT effectively addresses PIU by reshaping maladaptive thought patterns and promoting healthier behaviors. Previous studies have indicated the efficacy of CBT in addressing internet addiction in adolescents, emphasizing the significance of implementing CBT within the context of individual counseling services. The findings underscore the urgency of proactive intervention to mitigate the adverse consequences of PIU and restore a balanced lifestyle for adolescents. Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a behavioral mismatch or a behavior that is far from social relations and violates norms, religion, and legal rules or authorities that apply in society. In solving the problem of juvenile delinquency, a solution or counseling technique provided by the BK teacher to students is needed. In this juvenile delinquency problem, the case resolution uses a behavioral approach. The behavioral approach is a rapidly developing and very well-known behavioral therapy approach, because it meets the principles of simplicity, is easy to understand and apply, and there is an emphasis on positive behavior. The research in this article was compiled using a literacy study method that collected data through previous research. The subjects that can be involved in this research are between adolescents or students and guidance counseling teachers related to using behavioral approaches as a solution. The purpose of this research is to find out how the use of behavioral approaches in dealing with juvenile delinquency problems. The results showed that there is still a lot of juvenile delinquency that occurs, both in the school environment and society, which is largely due to the lack of parental attention and love at home. By applying the behavioral approach, it is hoped that it can reduce the juvenile delinquency that occurs. Keywords: juvenile delinquency, behavioral approach, behaviors

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of classical format information services with discussion techniques on students' interest in continuing to vocational high schools in class IX students of SMP Negeri 22 Bengkulu City, this research uses the experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Bengkulu City, totaling 60 students. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique which amounted to 30 students. The research data analysis technique used the T test(paired sample test) with Bungin's formula. The results of the study before being given services with an average of 90.27 which is categorized as low. After being given the service the average value of students with a score of 133.77 which is categorized as high. Hypothesis testing in the study was shown with a value of t -22.494 which means that there is an effect of classical format information services with discussion techniques on students' interest in continuing to vocational high schools. From the results of the research, it is suggested that counseling teachers can use a classical format information service model to increase students' interest in continuing their education to vocational schools. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effect of group counseling services with rational emotive behavior therapy techniques on fear of missing out. The method used was an experiment with a one-group design, pre test-post test design. The population taken was 30 people in class VIII B. The sample in this study amounted to 6 students. The sampling procedure used purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using t-test (paired sample t-test). The t-test results show the value of t = 12.256 (p <0.05). The results of this study prove that group counseling services with rational emotive behavior therapy techniques can reduce the fear of missing out students in class VIII B at SMP Negeri 17 Bengkulu City. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the level of procrastination of class IX students at SMP Negeri 02 Bengkulu City is related to their learning methods. Information was collected from the results of giving student questionnaires about procrastination and learning styles. The research sample consisted of 129 people using random sampling methodology. Contingency Correlation analysis was carried out on the data using the SPSS crosstab menu. With a correlation value of 0.286 and a significance level of p 0.117 (p>0.05), the research results show that there is no relationship between learning style and student procrastination. Because the learning style variable does not show a relationship, future researchers can choose the delay variable along with other factors. Keywords: learning style, procrastination, students

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of content mastery services to improve the learning skills of grade XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 8 North Bengkulu. This research method uses a one-group pre-test post-test design experiment. The population of this study was the entire class XI of science. The sampling technique used is random intact group sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of student learning skills. The data analysis technique in this study uses a Test-test (Paired Sample Test). The results obtained in this study show the influence of content mastery services on students' learning skills. This means that students' learning skills before being given content mastery services are low. Then students' learning skills after being given content mastery services become high. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the relationship between emotional maturity and decision making for further studies in class IX students in Muara Bangkahulu sub-district. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in the study were all class IX students in the Muara Bangkahulu sub-district, totaling 497 students with the research sample used totaling 149 students which is 30% of the total population using random sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used in this research were emotional maturity questionnaire instruments and further study decision making questionnaires using the Likert scale model. In testing the relationship between emotional maturity and decision making for further studies using hypothesis testing, where the results of hypothesis testing there is a correlation of 0.590 with a significance value of 0.000. Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant relationship between emotional maturity and decision making for further studies in class IX students. Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of group guidance services using role playing techniques to increase the self-confidence of class VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Bengkulu City. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study was 31 students, with a sample of 11 students determined using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique in this research uses a student self-confidence questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale model. The data analysis technique uses the t test (paired sample t-test), which shows the value of t = -8.830 (P< 0,05). This means that there is a significant influence of group guidance services using role playing techniques on students self-confidence.
