Abstract

The research aims to describe the application steps of the Discovery Learning model and analysis the student's motivations and learning outcomes thematic for third grade students in SDN 32 Bengkulu Selatan. This in tipe of research is third grade students conducted in two cycles. This research subject is a teacher and third grade students. The research instruments used were observation sheets, test sheets and questionnaire. Observation and questionnaire data analysis techniques use the average formula scores, the highest score, the lowest score, the scoring gap, and the value range for each criteria.  Average formula score the students and acuity of learning. The average result of student cycle I 77% with category good increases in cycle II which is 87% with category excellent. Accordingly, the average result of student study increases from cycle I to category good increases to excellent on cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model to thematic learning can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of third grade students in SDN 32 Bengkulu Selatan.

Abstract

This research sought to describe and analyze the implementation of a discovery learning model assisted by beads as a media to improve the activity and learning outcome of sixth grade students at the State Elementary School 09 Bengkulu. This research involved the teacher and sixth grade students at that school as research subjects. The research instruments were in the form of observation sheets and tests. The data analysis techniques were in the form of average formula and the percentage of classical learning completeness. The research observational data were analyzed using the average score, the highest score, the lowest score, the difference in scores, and the range of scores for each criterion. The average score for teacher activity in the first cycle was 35 (B) and increased in the second cycle with a score of 42.5 (SB). The average score for student activity in the first cycle was 34.5 (B) and increased in the second cycle with a score of 42 (SB). In addition, the average score of student learning outcome in the cognitive aspect in the first cycle was 63.56 with 64% classical learning completeness and increased in the second cycle with a score of 80.56 with 88% classical learning completeness. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of a realistic mathematics learning model discovery learning model assisted by beads as a media can improve the students‟ activity and learning outcome.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of the video-assisted SAVI learning model on the learning achievement of indonesian students of grade V SDN in cluster VII bengkulu city. This type of research is  a  quantitative  study  using quasi experimental method with the matching only pre-test and pos-test research design. The population of this study were all of class V at SDN Gugus VII with the status of a public school and having A accreditation. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling so that the VA class the from  SDN 49  consisted of 30 people as the experimental class and the VB class the from SDN 19 consisted of 26 people as the control class. The instrument used was written test sheet with data collection technique was in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis technique used quantitative analysis. The analysis result of post-test score showed significant difference between experimental class and the control class. The results of the research data were processed using a hypothesis test (t-test), namely the value of tcount (3.641) > ttable (1.670) so that Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the video-assisted SAVI learning model on the learning achievement of Indonesian students of grade V SDN in Cluster VII, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce an integrated thematic learning E-Module based on discovery learning on the theme of 7 sub-themes 1 learning 1 & 2 in grade V elementary school. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the model The development model used in this study is ADDIE. The instruments used are product validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive analysis by processing data in the form of notes, suggestions or comments from expert validation, questionnaires for teacher and student responses and quantitative analysis by processing data in the form of scores from expert validation assessment results, teacher response questionnaires, and students. The material expert validation results showed a value of 92.9%, media expert validation showed a value of 97% with a very valid category and linguist validation showed a value of 93.3% with a very valid category. In addition, teacher responses showed a score of 93.7% and the trial results obtained a range of 0.7 with a moderate category, meaning that teaching materials are suitable for use and student responses showed a score of 89.63% with excellent categories that can be used in learning. The results of the overall assessment show that the E-Module of the historical relics of British colonialism in Bengkulu based on discovery learning is very feasible and effective to be used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media on students' cognitive learning outcomes in science subjects of grade IV Elementary School in Cluster 12 Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used is quasi-experimental design. With the design type "the matching only pretest-posttest control group design". The population in this study was Elementary School of Cluster 12 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling technique. The samples in this study were class IV SDN 81 Bengkulu City as the experimental class and class IV SDN 99 Bengkulu City as the control class. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest of science cognitive learning outcomes given to experimental and control groups. The data analysis method in this study is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the t-test. From the results of the t-test calculation of the posttest value of students' science cognitive learning outcomes, namely tcount = 8.87 is greater than the ttable value = 1.67. It shows that there is a significant difference between the posttest scores of the experimental and control classes. Based on the results of the difference in the posttest scores of students' cognitive learning outcomes, there is a significant effect with a scale of 5% on the use of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media on students' cognitive learning outcomes in science subjects of grade IV Elementary School in Cluster 12 Bengkulu City.
