Abstract

Assessment is not only an inherent need but also plays a strategic role in the quality management of education. Good judgment will provide comprehensive evaluative information in a timely manner about the strengths and weaknesses of a learning activity or educational program. The assessment of thematic learning is an effort done to explore information gradually, continuously and holistic about the process and the result of growth and development that has been achieved, both related to the process and learning outcomes. However, most educators still experience constraints in assessing learning outcomes in the classroom, especially for teachers who implement thematic learning. In this case, educators have difficulty in applying techniques or syntax in the preparation of learning achievement instruments according to the condition of their students.

Abstract

This paper illustrates the importance of the development of Islamic Reli- gious Education (PAI) into the school culture. Strategies to realize it can be done in several ways; (1) Power strategy, (2) persuasive strategy, and (3) normative re-educative. Habituation be important to support the de- velopment efforts of PAI into a religious culture in schools, because ha- bituation is the result of a process of continuous exercise to be a religious culture in the school that will have positive implications towards the reali- zation of the purpose PAI, which is to realize human religious and noble, the man who was knowledgeable, diligent worship, intelligent, productive, honest, fair, ethical, disciplined, tolerant (tasamuh), maintaining harmony in personal and social development and developing a culture of religion in the school community. Implementation of religious culture in schools as well as solutions to the problems of PAI related to the lack of hours of les- sons and practices of learning that only pay attention to cognitive aspects alone and ignore the development aspects of affective and conative-volitif, the will and determination to practice the values of religious teachings in everyday life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by pesantren phenomenon known as educational institution which use punishment as a method to educate students. One of the pesantren that apply the penalty for improving discipline students is Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. The focus of this research is the application of punishment and its impact on the discipline of santri. This research uses qualitative approach of case study type. The results showed that: 1) Planning of punishment program is done through recruitment, education and training and mentoring to pesantren board. 2) The punishment program is adjusted for the severity of the violation committed by the students. 3) Evaluation of punishment program is done through; direct and indirect supervision, coordination with central security.

Abstract

Changes in the educational institutions of Islam which is a positive response to the modernist Muslims against Muslims backwardness of modern Western advances. Efforts renewal and modernization of Islamic education is done by improving the quality of education which according to V. Gasparez include keterwujudan, reliability, kecepattanggapan, assurance, and empathy. Quality improvement in schools necessitates the commitment of human resources education   that   participated   memuncukan   productive   work   ethic.   The commitment of human resources education in schools aimed at improving the quality of education embodied in the form of affective commitment in the form of an emotional attachment educators as well as education and awareness normative commitment in the form of individual educators of their responsibilities.

Abstract

Islam is the Shari'ah of Allah for mankind, in order that man performs worship to Him. In order for human beings to bear and realize the great mandate, the Shari'a requires practice, development, and coaching. Development and coaching that is what is meant by Islamic education. Understanding Education by Islam is the whole sense contained in terms ta'lim, tarbiyah, and ta'dib. Implementation of religious values in national education includes: the existence of religious subjects, institutes of religious education, attachment of religious values in every subject and the planting of religious values in the family. The basic purpose of learning is simplified into three, namely: retention goals, understanding goals and active goals. Values in Islamic education include ethical values, aesthetic values, exemplary and social values, values associated with individuals, values associated with the family, values relating to the life of the state and the values associated with religious.

Abstract

The sophistication of a nation and the State can not be separated from the progress of society. High civilized society and modern must be different from primitive society, not cultured and layman. High civilized society or civil society is not just this discourse appears, there are some things that background. Thus, this is where Islamic religious education takes a role in its formation. In the midst of the times, new phenomena are emerging in society, and this is certainly influenced by the development of science and technology. Islamic education amidst the onslaught of public education, tetpa strives to exist with several developments and innovations for its advancement in making changes to the customs, culture and patterns of the society by maintaining tolerance of Religion, living in mutual respect and help, forming a knowledgeable society and technological literacy, so in this case that need to be underlined is the role of Islamic religious education, civil society and character education.

Abstract

Most people still think that the value of an individual’s intelligence is al- ways measured by the ability in solving mathematical problems aside the fact that there is a plurality of the human intelligence since he was born. The learning strategy plays an important role in accommodating the ful- fillment of it to reach almost all intelligence possessed by the students. In the process, the learning should have a pattern and management elements of grammar, sequence, logic, order and sequence, problem solving, map- ping, individual experience, to social relationships through interaction and discussion. To meet these needs, the selection of learning strategies based intelligence compound is apt to be a critical success factor learning process.

Abstract

The existence of madrassas is firmly rooted in the noble values and scientific tradition of Islam that is expected to be a solution to the double standards of education in Indonesia, between schools and public schools. People still look at it less interesting to the public schools more gemilau. This phenomenon led to the idea of modernizing madrasah education to match the general educational institutions are considered to have been dashed away. MTs have enough challenges vary given the shift in society's view of Islamic education.The quality of the reference quality education according to market demands. MTs Walisongo 1 Maron is one of the madrasah is the choice and demonstrate achievements in the past five years. Quality management has evolved from a measurement into a management system in madrassas. Quality management in the madrasah strived to utilize resources with the principle POACH oriented to quality.

Abstract

Qalbu Management is a concept of Islamic life guidance that was initiated by Daarut Tauhid Leadership School of Bandung, KH Abdullah Gymnastiar (Aa Gym), which teaches a new concept of Shiva Islam. Qolbu Management offers to invite people to understand the heart or heart, self, in order to want and be able to control themselves after understanding who is really himself. So the concept of Qolbu Management is a consciousness that is generated on his own consciousness to make his life better and always be in the pleasure of Allah. In this discussion will explore the meaning of qolbu, its parts, and the classification of qolbu. In addition, the concept of qolbu management and management mode qalbu as an effort to get to know the potential and liver problems to further develop its ability optimally and eliminate problems arising from mismanagement. Portrait of Pondok Pesantren Daarut Tahuid is also presented, as the first laboratory of qolbu management. Manfaaat qalbu management is also the main focus, because qalbu Management can be applied to overcome the problem of non-infectious disease which one of the risk factor of the disease is behavior.

Abstract

This research presents about building gender awareness in Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolingg through gender equitable education. Gender equitable education in Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo is all educational activities that provide fair opportunity to all components of pesantren through gender awareness, both men and women to carry out their roles in educational activities to exercise their rights and obligations in accordance with their roles in a fair and wise. This research uses qualitative method with case study type. The results showed that; 1) Efforts made by the leadership of Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo in building gender awareness is done through; guidance on gender awareness or gender mainstreaming, change of mindset of pesantren civitas, equel gender relation, optimization of women participation in pesantren activity, development of gendered curriculum and reward and punishment. 2) Implication of the implementation of fair education in building gender awareness in Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo, that is; the quality of pesantren is increasing, the atmosphere of public relations and religious pesantren, the creation of harmonization in pesantren, decreased bias and gender gaps in education, optimizing the role of women in educational activities in pesantren.
