Abstract

Multi-objective integer optimization model that contain uncertain parameter can be handled using the Adjustable Robust Counterpart (ARC) methodology with Polyhedral Uncertainty Set. The ARC method has two stages of completion, so completing the second stage can be assisted by the Benders Decomposition. This paper discusses the systematic review on this topic using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). PRISMA presents a database mining algorithm for previous articles and related topics sourced from Scopus, Science Direct, Dimensions, and Google Scholar. Four stages of the algorithm are used, namely Identification, Screening, Eligibility, and Included. In the Eligibility stage, 16 articles obtained and called Dataset 1, used for bibliometric mapping and evolutionary analysis. Moreover, in the Included stage, six final databases obtained and called Dataset 2, which was used to analyze research gaps and novelty. The analysis was carried out on two datasets, assisted by the output visualisation using RStudio software with the " bibliometrix" package, then we use the command 'biblioshiny()' to create a link to the “shiny web interface”. At the final stage of the article using six articles analysis, it is concluded that there is no research on the ARC multi-objective integer optimization model with Polyhedral Uncertainty Sets using the Benders Decomposition Method, which focuses on discussing the general model and its mathematical analysis. Moreover, this research topic is open and becomes the primary references for further research in connection.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are one that students shall have in learning mathematics. To assist students in developing problem-solving skills, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) may be used, one of which is interactive multimedia. Therefore, this research aims to use interactive multimedia to describe students' mathematical problem-solving skills in statistics at the elementary school level. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study model. Research subjects aged 11-12 years in collecting data, the researcher used an instrument for performance indicators and then strengthened interviews (unstructured) with educators and students. Then analyzed using an In this study, researchers used the theory of Miles and Huberman. Overall, the analysis of students' problem-solving skills is already very skilled. It has been proven that almost all students achieve performance indicators, namely, capable of understanding the problems presented, carrying out solution planning, solving problems according to plan indicators, and conducting re-examinations to re-examine them.  This research implies that teachers can apply interactive multimedia to increase student activity in learning.

Abstract

Technological advances during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia gave rise to the PeduliLindungi application which is developed by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The advantages and disadvantages of developing PeduliLindungi can be seen from the responses and opinions from users, one of which is through the Twitter. A person's opinion about PeduliLindungi based on the tweet can be classified into positive, negative, or neutral categories using a Machine Learning approach with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. In this paper, multiobjective optimization modeling is used to maximize the performance metrics, which are the value of Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-Score. The value of the performance metrics is considered to contain uncertainty factors. Therefore, the optimization problem is solved by using Robust Optimization to handle the uncertainty factor. The data uncertainty is assumed to be belongs to polyhedral uncertainty set thus the resulted robust is computationally tractable. Numerical experiment is presented to complete the discussion.

Abstract

This article discusses the results of research on the combination of learning rate values, momentum, and the number of neurons in the hidden layer of the ANN Backpropagation (ANN-BP) architecture using meta-analysis. This study aims to find out the most recommended values at each learning rate and momentum interval, namely [0.1], as well as the number of neurons in the hidden layer used during the data training process. We conducted a meta-analysis of the use of learning rate, momentum, and number of neurons in the hidden layer of ANN-BP. The eligibility data criteria of 63 data include a learning rate of 44 complete data, the momentum of 30 complete data, and the number of neurons in the hidden layer of 45 complete data. The results of the data analysis showed that the learning rate value was recommended at intervals of 0.1-0.2 with a RE model value of 0.938 (very high), the momentum at intervals of 0.7-0.9 with RE model values of 0.925 (very high), and the number of neurons in the input layer that was smaller than the number of neurons in the hidden layer with a RE model value of 0.932 (very high). This recommendation is obtained from the results of data analysis using JASP by looking at the effect size of the accuracy level of research sample data.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of complaints from several parents at Elementary School regarding recipients of the Poor Student Assistance (PSA) who were still less objective. Elementary School XY regularly conduct screening activities every year to select prospective PSA recipients. This selection is made so that the recipients of this assistance are students entitled to it. Some students should be accepted as a selection committee but do not mistake of choosing some students who have kinship or subjective matters. Therefore, this study aims to explore and create applications that apply the Multi Objective Optimization to the basic  Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method, which is a method for determining students based on predetermined criteria. The criteria used are the value of report cards, student achievement, student activity, parental income, parental dependents, and home conditions. After conducting a search and implementation using the MOORA method in determining PSA recipients, it was found that there were some non-objective results where the student's criteria and final results were lower than some other students. However the Elementary School provided a recommendation to get PSA. If this happens again, then the importance of this system is to help objective selection. The accuracy results explained that 14.39% of PSA recipients were subjective. It was concluded that this research helps an objective decision and facilitates the decision maker in determining the best 3 recipients from each class at Elementary School XY.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the possibility of learning obstacles in the concept of Geometric Transformation based on the meaning of the Geometric Transformation concept that students have regarding their experience in obtaining the definition of the Geometric Transformation concept. This study uses a qualitative method and Didactical Design Research for methodological framework that contains three stages of analysis: prospective, metapedadidactic, and retrospective. Teachers who will carry out the learning reflection process based on didactical design research were chosen through purposive sampling as research participants. Forty-eight students took the written test, and then six students were selected by purposive sampling to participate in in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out descriptively by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The result indicates that the meaning of the concept of Geometry Transformation, according to students, was the mapping of points in a plane to a set of points in the same plane; the existence of inconsistencies and ambiguity of meaning, and the emergence of the findings of other meaning units of Geometric Transformation concepts. The experience of student meaning shows a tendency for students to get a sense from what is taught by teachers and books with more procedurally oriented concept meanings. Based on the purpose and experience of students' definition, there are learning obstacles in the Geometric Transformation concept, including ontogenic obstacles, epistemological obstacles, and didactical obstacles. These learning obstacles can be a valuable consideration for improving and developing learning designs related to the concept of Geometric Transformation.

Abstract

Fuzzy time series (FTS) firstly introduced by Song and Chissom has been developed to forecast such as enrollment data, stock index, air pollution, etc. In forecasting FTS data several authors define universe of discourse using coefficient values with any integer or real number as a substitute. This study focuses on interval variation in order to get better evaluation. Coefficient values analyzed and compared in unequal partition intervals and equal partition intervals with base and triangular fuzzy membership functions applied in two factors high-order. The study implemented in the Shen-hu stock index data. The models evaluated by average forecasting error rate (AFER) and compared with existing methods. AFER value 0.28% for Shen-hu stock index daily data. Based on the result, this research can be used as a reference to determine the better interval and degree membership value in the fuzzy time series.

Abstract

Inventory of raw materials is a big deal in every production process, both in company production and home business production. In order to meet consumer demand, a business must be able to determine the amount of inventory that should be provided. The purpose of this research is to choose an alternative selection of ordering raw materials that produce the maximum amount of raw materials with minimum costs. The raw material referred to in this study is pandan leaves used to make pandan mats. Analysis of raw material inventory used in this research was the Markov decision process with the policy iteration method by considering the discount factor. From the analysis conducted, it is obtained alternative policies that must be taken by producers to meet raw materials with minimum costs. The results of this study can be a consideration for business actors in the study location in deciding the optimal ordering policy that should be taken to obtain the minimum operational cost.
