Abstract

The purpose of this research is to (1)know about how to develop cognitive instrument assessment of thematic grade 5 elementary school;(2)to know about quality of cognitive instrument of thematic grade 5 elementary school from classical item analysis. This RND research consists of preliminary studies, product development and product trials. The subjects of this study were 5th grade students at Dorolegi 1 ES, Ketangirejo 1 ES and Sindurejo 1 ES Grobogan. The results showed that (1)how to develop cognitive assessment instruments namely determining theme, IC, BC, GPA, learning objectives, measuring instruments, grids, items, trials, revisions and determining the final product (2) Instrument items shaped PG consists of 42 items. Based on the classical analysis, items had high validity r≥0.20, reliability α≥0.20 (α = 938), moderate difficulty level 0.25 <P≤0.75, distinguishing power received P≤0.20, deception 59.5% is very good and 40.5% is good. Thus, the cognitive assessment instrument for thematic learning in 5th grade elementary school is feasible to use.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that has a very important role for human life. Mathematics contributes greatly, ranging from simple to complex, ranging from abstract to concrete for problem solving in all fields. The lack of student interest in learning and the low value of students is only 24% successful in mathematics, especially in integer count operations in SDN 1 Sukamenanti, and 76% are still below the KKM. Therefore, it is necessary to improve learning that can improve learning outcomes, motivation and create a conducive learning atmosphere. The purpose of this study is to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially the material operation of integer counts through the STAD method in class VI students at SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District Bandar Lampung City Academic Year 2018/2019. The results of the improvement of the learning cycle I showed that by using the STAD model of mathematics learning outcomes in students in class VI experienced an increase in the average value of 60.41 with mastery learning by 52.38%. The results of the improvement of the second cycle of learning, an increase that is getting higher is the average value obtained by 71.19 with the achievement of mastery learning by 71.43%. And the results of the improvement of learning cycle III, there was a very high increase in the average value obtained by 86.67 with the achievement of mastery learning by 90.47%. Based on the results of the above analysis it can be concluded that the use of the STAD Model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of the KPK and FPB material in class VI SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District Bandar Lampung City Academic Year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Education is a substantial field for human life because education can encourage the improvement of human quality both in the form of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. It seems that in this day morals are declining due to the lack of serious attention in education. In nowadays, education expects students not only to have cognitive embedded in their self, but also to have noble manners and morals. This research aims to determine the importance of manners and morals of a student towards his teacher. On the other hands, manners and character play a very important role in the blessing of the knowledge gained by students. The method used in this research is the library method with a qualitative approach. From this research, it was found that manners and morals are two important things in the learning process. How a student should focus on his studies, align his intentions and humble himself and be obedient to his teacher is important for students. In the quran surah al-kahfi verses 64-70 have also been told the importance of manners and morals of a student. Indeed, the prominent of manners and morals can be used as a reflection of a student in seeking knowledge.

Abstract

The problems raised in this study relate to the ability to write short stories by taking into account the intrinsic elements of the even semester of SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. Know the causal factors for student difficulties and find out the most prominent difficulties experienced by students. The research method used in order to achieve the research objectives is the quantitative descriptive method. The research population was 125 with a sample of 25. Data collection techniques used short story writing assignment techniques. Data analysis was carried out with quantitative quantitative analysis. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the results of research on cepen's writing ability in class X even semester SMK PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung. Based on seven aspects which are indicators in the study, namely: (1). Theme, (2). Background, (3). Figures and Characterizations, (4). Flow, (5). Point of view, (6). Language style, (7). The mandate shows a pretty good ability. Some students have mastered the procedure for writing short stories quite well. The details are stated that the elements that are expressed incorrectly or each other's mistakes occur include: 1. Flow, 2. Background, 3. Angle of view, 4. Style of language, 5 mandates.

Abstract

The attitude of students' disinterest and the inaccuracy of the teacher in choosing techniques or learning methods for learning to write poetry, it is necessary to research effective learning techniques for learning to write poetry. This study also aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of word series techniques in improving the ability to write creative poetry. The results showed a significant difference in the posttest scores of creative writing poetry of the control group and experimental group students. In the control group there were 6 students who got low scores, 29 students got medium scores, and 2 students got high scores. In the experimental group there were 2 students who got low scores, 18 students got medium scores, and 15 students got high scores. This shows that there are significant differences in the ability to write creative poetry between the control group and the experimental group. The t-test results of the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental group produced a tcount of 2007 with a df of 35 and a table of 0.13 at a significance level of 5%. This shows that the effective word series technique is used in learning to write poetry because the value of t-count <-table (-2.007 <- 0.13).

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find and to obtain a profound understanding of the moral values of the main character in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy as responded by the sixth semester students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department (PBSI) Baturaja University The students’ receptions include: (1) students’ responses to religious moral values, (2) students’ responses to the personal moral values, (3) responses responses to social moral values. The data of this qualitative research were obtained through closed questionnaires and interviews. The data collection procedure was done by determining the respondents who have read and understood the novel, spreading the questionnaire, and then conducting the interview, collecting the data, classifying the data, and eventually analyzing the data. The result of the research revealed that the religious moral value of the main character is considered good with the percentage of 9,3%. In addition, the personal and social moral values ??are also considered good with the percentage of 9,0%, and 9,6% respectively. The moral values of the main character may become good examples for the students to develop a strong character in religious, personal, and social moral values.

Abstract

The issues raised in this study relate to the ability of students to write literary works, especially in writing drama scripts based on short stories. Through the ability to write drama scripts based on short stories is expected to improve students' abilities in the field of literature in particular can change the short story into a drama that is as good as possible. This study aims to describe how the level of students' abilities in writing drama scripts based on short stories. To achieve the above research objectives, the authors use quantitative descriptive methods, with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. The assessment indicators are: (1) theme, (2) figure, (3) setting, (4) flow, (5) dialogue, (6) language, (7) creativity. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the students' ability in writing drama scripts with seven indicators as a basis for assessment, the results or the average score obtained was 75 The score was obtained from the calculation of the number of acquisition scores.

Abstract

This action research is motivated by the problem of the lack of student activity in sociology studies especially the integration and reintegration material as an effort to solve conflicts and integration problems, causing the low learning outcomes of students in sociology in class XI IPS 6 SMA Negeri 5 Jambi City. The contributing factor is that the teacher has been using lecture methods a lot, and the lack of use of learning models has caused students to not be active in learning, student activity in asking questions. % of 40 students. Most students show a passive attitude lacking enthusiasm, daydreaming, less attention, speaking when the teacher is explaining the material and showing attitudes that are not relevant to the learning situation Student learning outcomes are low. This study aims to find out how the action is carried out and the outcome process. Student activities are categorized in cycle I, cycle II is good, cycle III is very good. cycle I the average value of 64.50 cycle II increased 74.75 cycle III increased 88.25. An increase in students who completed 16 people in cycle I completed 25 people in cycle II increased 39 people in cycle III. Mastery class has increased cycle I by 40% cycle II 62.50% cycle III increased 97.50%. It can be concluded that an increase in the activities and learning outcomes of the sociology of the concept of social integration and reintegration through the application of the Gagnon and Collay Learning model. students in class XI IPS 6 Semester II SMAN 5 Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the introduction of introductory learning activities in English by applying the method of discussion and interviewing exercises with direct speakers at grade VII students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung TP 2019/2020? The method used is classroom action research. This research was conducted on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung. The results of the research show that in the first cycle, 75.5% of the learning activity was obtained, the second cycle was 88.7% of the learning activity, the third cycle of the learning activity was 96.7% Therefore, there was an increase in activity and learning outcomes from cycle to cycle. The overall average off-task time in this learning process was 3.3%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of introductory learning (introduction) in English can be improved by applying the method of discussion and interviewing exercises with direct speakers at grade VII students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung TP 2019/2020? "
