Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi, karena pentingnya pantun bagi kehidupan manusia karena mengandung berbagai nilai kehidupan dan pentingnya sastra daerah sebagai salah satu keanekaragaman sastra nusantara dan memiliki karakteristik serta makna dan tujuan tertentu. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah bentuk dan makna pantun muda-mudi bahasa Daya dialek Gedung Wani Kecamatan Runjung Agung Kabupaten OKU Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna pantun muda-mudi daerah Daya dialek Gedung Wani Kecamatan Runjung Agung OKU Selatan. Pendekatan yang digunakan pendekatan struktural dan pendekatan semiotik. Metode yang digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah, wawancara, dan perekaman. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat beberapa jenis pantun, Berdasarkan bentuknya pantun terdiri dari pantun kilat, pantun biasa dan pantun talibun, sedangkan berdasarkan isi atau maknanya yaitu pantun jenaka.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find and to obtain a profound understanding of the moral values of the main character in the novel “Ayat-ayat Cinta 1” by Habiburrahman El Shirazy as responded by the sixth semester students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department (PBSI) Baturaja University The students’ receptions include: 1) students’ responses to religious moral values, 2) students’ responses to the personal moral values, 3) responses responses to social moral values. The data of this qualitative research were obtained through closed questionnaires and interviews. The data collection procedure was done by determining the respondents who have read and understood the novel, spreading the questionnaire, and then conducting the interview, collecting the data, classifying the data, and eventually analyzing the data. The result of the research revealed that the religious moral value of the main character is considered good with the percentage of 9,3%. In addition, the personal and social moral values ??are also considered good with the percentage of 9,0%, and 9,6% respectively. The moral values of the main character may become good examples for the students to develop a strong character in religious, personal, and social moral values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social values ​​contained in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel and its implementation as literary teaching material in high school. The data source is Father Hirata's novel Andrea Hirata. Data collection techniques in this study using library technique, listen, and note. The data analysis technique in this study is to use dialectical techniques. The validity of the data for this study is to use data triangulation. The results of the research show that the theme of Father's novel is the struggle of a child who wants to provide happiness to his parents, especially to a father figure; the setting of this novel is in the Bangka Belitung area, using forward paths, and perspective as an all-knowing third person. The social values ​​are kinship values, values ​​of affection, cooperation, and mutual respect or respect. Based on data found from the novel, it can therefore be related to the Indonesian Language Lesson RPP in high school that is relevant enough to be used as teaching material for senior high school/equivalent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kebutuhan bahan ajar membaca kritis bagi dosen dan mahasiswa, (2) produk bahan ajar membaca kritis hasil pengembangan, dan (3) efek potensial bahan ajar membaca kritis hasil pengembangan untuk mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Baturaja. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan adalah bahan ajar berbentuk buku teks yaitu Membaca Kritis. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan Jolly dan Bolitho. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Subjek dalam uji lapangan ini terdiri atas 23 orang mahasiswa. Untuk memperoleh informasi kelayakan bahan ajar, dilakukan validasi ahli berdasarkan aspek materi, bahasa, penyajian, dan kegrafikaan. Data dalam uji lapangan terbatas diperoleh melalui tes tertulis yaitu  tes tertulis berbentuk pilihan ganda dan uraian.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis validasi ahli, bahan ajar Membaca Kritis yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan baik atau layak digunakan oleh mahasiswa. Hasil tes membaca kritis oleh mahasiswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata 47,00 menjadi 69,26  dengan nilai selisih 22,26. Dengan demikian, prototipe bahan ajar Membaca Kritis hasil pengembangan peneliti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membaca kritis dan layak digunakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Baturaja.

Abstract

Researchers examine the Ability of High School Students of SMA N 06 OKU Finding Value of Religion in Short Story 4 Kopiah Karya Faqih Sulthan. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the ability of high school students of SMA N 06 OKU find the value of religion in short story 4 Kopiah by Faqih Sulthan. This study aims to describe the ability of students of grade X SMA N 06 OKU to find the value of religion in short story 4 Kopiahkarya Faqih Sulthan.Manfaat this research is expected to give description about religious values in short stories, and can be useful for teachers, students, readers, and researchers. The method that researchers use is descriptive method. Data collection techniques are test techniques. The sample in this study amounted to 36 students. The result of the research on the ability of the students of grade X of SMA Negeri 06 OKU find the religious value in the short story that there are students who can find the religion value on the element of aqidah with the value of 11-20 as many as 34 or 94.4%, with the value of 21-40 as many as 32 people or 88.9% the value of 21-40 as many as 10 people or 27.8%, with a grade point average of 68.9. Based on the Kreteria Complete Minimal value of Indonesian language in SMA N 06 OKU with a value of 75, then the students of class X.2 otherwise have not been able to find the value of religion in the short story 4 Kopiah works Faqih Sulthan.Keywords: ability, religion value, short story

Abstract

This research aims to (1) to know the ability of VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 OKU to write posters before and after using the meaningful instructional design model and (2) to know the effectiveness of instructional model Meaningful Instructional Design in writing poster of student of class VIII SMP Negeri 32 OKU. The method used in this research is the experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of the research is class VIII B totaling 36 people. Technique of data collection using essay test. Data analysis using statistical technique with t-test formula (t-test). The results showed that on pretest writing posters, students who scored 56-65 amounted to 11 people, students who scored 46-55 amounted to 21 people, students who get the value of 00-45 amounted to 4 people with an average value of 55 or less category . On posttest writing posters, students who score 80-100 amounted to 20 people, students who get 66-79 amounted to 9 people, students who get 56-65 amounted to 7 people with an average of 74.58 or good category. Based on the calculation, 5% significant level of writing poster known t-table 2.00 and t-count 15,53, t-count bigger than t-table (15,53 2,00). Thus, it can be concluded that the instructional model Meaningful Instructional Design effectively used in learning posters writing students of class VIII SMP Negeri 32 OKU.Keywords: effectiveness, meaningful instructional design, learning, writing, poster

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the novel building structure, the moral aspects of Tere Liye's Hafalan Shalat Delisa novel, and its relevance to literary learning in high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is the moral aspect. The data source in this study is the novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa by Tere Liye. The technique of collecting data uses library techniques, listening, taking notes, and interviews. Data analysis techniques using dialectical techniques. The results showed that (1) structural analysis resulted in the theme of this novel being unyielding, patient, and steadfast. The flow used is a progressive path. The main character is named Delisa and additional figures are Ummi Salamah, Kak Fatimah, Kak Aisyah, Kak Zahra, Abi Usman, Koh Acan, Ustadz Rahman, Ibu Guru Nur, Sersan Ahmed, Prajurit Smith/Salam, Suster Shopi, Tiur, Umam, and Kak Ubai. The setting in this novel is located in Lhok Nga, the aircraft carrier, and the hospital. The time frame is between 2004 and 2005. The social background includes life habits, traditions, and beliefs in religion; (2) moral aspects in the novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa include honesty, authentic values, responsibility, independence, and realistic and critical morals. Then, (3) the results of this study have relevance to literature learning in high school which is indicated by the existence of material about moral values ​​in novels as part of character education that must be learned by students.

Abstract

Novels are unique in telling every event in the life of the main character. Likewise, in the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari, he tries to tell the main female character from a gender perspective according to his era. For this reason, this study aims to describe: 1) the structure of the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari, 2) the manifestation of gender equality in the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari, and 3) the implementation of research results in the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari in learning literature in high school. The data in this study are in the form of words, sentences, expressions, and discourses that contain elements of gender issues in the novel Bekisar Merah. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, while the data collection uses documentation and note-taking techniques. Test the validity of the data applied, namely member check and validation of literary experts. The data analysis technique used a semiotic model reading technique consisting of heuristic and hermeneutic readings. The results of the study show that: 1) the structure of the novel Bekisar Merah, which is based on Stanton's fictional theory, carries the theme of women's struggles in realizing gender equality with men. The facts of the novel are divided into three, namely: characters and characterizations, setting, and storyline. 2) The forms of gender equality contained in the novel are: (a) women as equal partners of men, (b) equal rights and obligations between men and women, and (c) opponents of violence against women. 3) The results of the study were implemented in a learning scenario with KD 7.2 analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the novel. Thus, it can be concluded that the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari can be implemented in learning literature in high school.

Abstract

The purpose of the research are to analyze language style im Till It's Gone and the relevance of language style toward learning in SMA. Data collection used documentation, meanwhile data analysis used fiction analysis. The steps includes identification, classification, interpretation, and conclusion of the data. The result of the research found 18 simile, 8 hyperbole, 5 personification, 2 metaphor, 2 euphemisms, 2 anaphoric, and 3 sarcasm. It is concluded that Till It's Gone Novel by Kezia Evi Wiadji more dominant used simile and hyperbole in language style. For relevance in learning literature for SMA, This novel can be used as additional material in learning Indonesia languange and literature subject for eleventh grade students about intrinsic and extrinsic elements of novel related to three aspects namely language, psychology and cultural background. In summary, Till It's Gone by Kezia Evi Wiadji used comparative, affrimative and allusive language styles. Keywords: Language style and relevance. literary learning

Abstract

Kewajiban guru ataupun dosen dituntut untuk mampu menyusun bahan ajar yang inovatif. Bahan ajar tersebut bisa berwujud bahan ajar cetak, model/ maket, bahan ajar audio, bahan ajar visual, bahan ajar audio-visual, ataupun bahan ajar inovatif sesuai dengan kurikulum. Pada dasarnya penyusunan bahan ajar tersebut harus sesuai dengan perkembangan kebutuhan peserta didik maupun perkembangan teknologi informasi. Mengingat bahan ajar memiliki posisi yang sangat penting dalam suatu proses pembelajaran maka guru atau dosen dituntut untuk mampu menyusun bahan ajar. Kenyataannya sekarang bahan ajar tersebut tidak disusun dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Mereka cenderung mengambil bahan ajar yang telah tersedia di pasaran tanpa membuat bahan ajar sendiri. Untuk itulah guru dan dosen dituntut untuk mampu membuat bahan ajar sendiri. Metode penyelesaian masalah dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu mempersiapkan materi pelatihan, memberikan materi pelatihan, dan mengevaluasi hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan.
