Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of foot massage and joint mobility exercises on the value of ABI in type 2 DM patients. The quantitative research used a quasi-experimental approach with pre-test and post-test designs with two intervention groups. The results showed that the Wilcoxon signed ranks test statistic on 20 respondents in the two intervention groups showed a difference after being given foot massage and joint mobility exercises intervention on the ABI value, with each p-value (p = 0.00). In conclusion, foot massage and joint mobility exercises effectively improve peripheral circulation and increase ABI values in Type 2 DM patients. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between pharmacological therapy of epidural analgesia in normal delivery and the stability of newborns' vital signs at X Hospital Jakarta. The study used secondary data, electronic medical records, patient registration books and used quantitative methods with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed a significant relationship between temperature with p-value = 0.000 OR 5.179 (95% CI 2.684-9.992), respiratory rate with p-value = 0.027 OR 4.377 (95% CI 1.055-18.160) with and without epidural analgesia. There is no significant relationship between the first minute APGAR scores, p-value = 0.486 using the chi-square test and fifth p-value = 1,000 and pulse p-value = 0.621 using the Fishers exact test. In conclusion, epidural analgesia is safe for both mother and baby with proper monitoring. Keywords: Epidural Analgesia, Breathing Frequency, Pulse, Normal Delivery, APGAR

Abstract

This study aims to dissect the problem of diabetic neuropathy by analyzing risk factors such as age, length of suffering from Diabetes Mellitus (DM), history of contraceptive use, and glycemic control, which are the source of triggers. This study is a cross-sectional study with an analytical observational design. The results showed that from a sample of 225 patients with type 2 diabetes, 192 samples (85.4%) had diabetic neuropathy, while the remaining 33 samples (14.6%) did not have diabetic neuropathy. Regarding the length of suffering from DM, history of contraceptive use, and glycemic control, this study showed a significant relationship between these three variables on the incidence of diabetic neuropathy with -values of 0.048, 0.044, and 0.004, respectively. On the other hand, in terms of the relationship between age and the incidence of neuropathy, this study revealed no significant relationship between the two with an -value of 0.476. In conclusion, the factors associated with diabetic neuropathy are the duration of diabetes mellitus, history of contraceptive use, and glycemic control. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the level of family satisfaction of BPJS PBI and non-PBI patients in the inpatient room at Mutiara Sukma Hospital, NTB. This research is a quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach. The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in the level of family satisfaction of BPJS PBI and BPJS non-PBI patients. Based on the IKM value, the level of family satisfaction of non-PBI BPJS patients is higher than that of BPJS PBI. Still, based on statistical tests using Mann-Whitney, it shows that there is no significant difference between family satisfaction of BPJS PBI patients and BPJS non-PBI patients (p = 0.698). In conclusion, overall, there is no difference in the level of family satisfaction of BPJS PBI and non-PBI patients. Keywords: BPJS, Health Insurance, Satisfaction
