Abstract

CV Ribka Furniture is a company that is involved in the production and sales of shelves, cabinets, chairs, sofas, tables and so on, the company has implemented IS/IT in optimizing business activities to be more effective and efficient. The company uses an ERP application that aims to control all production processes such as recording incoming goods, outgoing goods, total stock of goods, as well as being integrated with other divisions such as payroll, attendance, and so on. However, it is undeniable that there are always possible risks that may occur and may interfere with business activities in the use of related systems. In this case, risk analysis is needed for IS/IT resources contained within the company. Applying ISO 31000 analysis is expected to minimize the risks that may exist in ERP applications. The results of this risk analysis are in the form of an analysis of the possibility of existing risks, evaluations, to risk mitigation plans so that they can produce improvements to existing risks, so the company can adjust to the priorities of the existing risk levels, so as not to interfere with business activities at CV Ribka Furniture

Abstract

The process of borrowing assets for the academic community is generally carried out on a regular basis. However, in the process of borrowing assets, there are times when laboratory officers have difficulty when borrowing because many laboratory officers have to check the conditions one by one manually. With these problems, this research will design and build an online-based goods lending system that can make it easier for laboratory workers to manage asset data.

Abstract

The ideal conditions for growing oyster mushrooms are at 65-75% humidity and 29-31C during incubation, while the stem growth should be at 70-90% humidity and 29-32C. Thisideal ecosystem is maintained by aeration and manual watering, but the results have not beenmaximized in preventing damage to the mycelium during the incubation period which results indecreased crop yields. Automatic control has not been able to create ideal conditions becausethe procedure for regulating air temperature and humidity is only based on fans and sprayerswhich do not directly affect air conditions. Fuzzy logic used in industry to manage sensors,accuators, robotics can be combined with the Internet of Things to solve this problem. Theperformance of fuzzy logic in this system can be seen from the PWM response of the fan and theduration of the pump. The test results of this control device are able to manipulate temperature,humidity, in the oyster mushroom kumbung to create ideal conditions of 29 C-31 C, thus makingoptimal mushroom growth with an average daily harvest of 4 kg.

Abstract

Educational games are one of the most effective learning aids that aim to provoke students' interest in learning to understand the learning material so that feelings of joy, happiness and not boring appear. The purpose of this research is to help increase students' learning motivation and can help students understand the lesson faster and can learn anywhere and anytime. This application is packaged in the form of a game that will be applied to a smartphone. This application will be made on the Android platform using the Java programming language. System testing in this study using the black box method and UAT testing. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it is known that the responses from respondents to the questionnaires distributed are quite good with a percentage of 71%, while the results of the UAT test on design indicators are 92%, convenience is 92% and efficiency is 91% so that aspects of system acceptance to users are presented 91 % with a Very Good scale.

Abstract

After WHO announced COVID-19 as a pandemic in 2020, universities began to implement online learning, after 1 year had passed, limited face-to-face learning would begin again by prioritizing the health and safety of campus residents. The offline lecture attendance system manually by signing the attendance sheet is at risk of becoming a medium for transmitting the virus because it is touched by many lecturers and students. Biometric systems are widely applied in various fields such as security systems and employee attendance. However, it has several weaknesses, such as the possibility of sabotage in fingerprints and palm geometry, difficulty in recognizing facial objects using accessories such as hats and glasses as well as changing expressions and expensive acquisition tools in retina-based recognition applications. This study uses Local Binary Patterns (LBP) to identify the dorsal hand vein. LBP is used as a feature extraction method to optimize the feature value of the vein texture in order to obtain good accuracy and fast processing speed. To match the dorsal vein features of the test image and the image in the database, the Fuzzy k-NN method is used. The test results show a good recognition accuracy of 90.67%.

Abstract

The implementation of a monitoring system on UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) which has two energy sources, namely the PLN source and the Battery Source, is very helpful in monitoring the UPS remotely. With this monitoring system, the parameter values ​​on the UPS can be seen (can be monitored) online. The purpose of this study is to design a monitoring system on an IoT (Internet of Things)-based UPS that is useful for viewing the parameter values ​​contained in the UPS directly (real-time) using Sonoff POW R2. This research uses methods starting from the tool design process and the wiring design from the tool manufacturing process and evaluation. The results of the experiment showed that the values ​​on the UPS can be viewed and monitored online and the results showed that the value of the voltage sourced from PLN did not reach 220 V while the value of the voltage sourced from the battery reached 220 V. The value of the current and power sourced from The PLN value shown on the monitoring screen is stable, while the value of current and power sourced from the battery appears to have increased.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology and Information Systems at this time is very rapid so that business activities apply technology in it. Slingbag Salatiga is a shop that sells bags and several products with various variants. However, in its business activities, Slingbag Salatiga still has not implemented information system technology in it, especially in recording incoming goods from suppliers to warehouses, from warehouses to stores, causing an impact, namely errors in data input and differences in stock between goods from warehouse to store. In this study, designing a-based warehouse recording information system website which is expected to make it easier for admins to record incoming and outgoing goods properly. In designing this system using the SDLC (methodSystem Development Life Cycle)which at this stage starts from needs analysis, design, implementation, testing to maintenance. On website this, there is a function of entering goods that enter the warehouse from the supplier to the goods leaving the warehouse to the store where there is clear information and validation so as to reduce the risk of fraud or manipulation of thedata of the stock goods sent.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a catalyst in changing work culture. Government regulations in implementing restrictions on social activities to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus have become a strong trigger for companies (including software developers) to change their work system from conventional to teleworking. The forced changes that must be made cause the process to be less systematic. One of the challenges as well as an important factor in the success of teleworking is organizational communication. Communication dynamics in teleworking practices that occur in software development teams occur at every development phase. In fact, to obtain quality software quality results, a good development team performance is required. One of the things to achieve this is with good organizational communication as well. Therefore, it is important to know how the dynamics of organizational communication in the software development team as a result of changes in the way of communication at work after the implementation of the teleworking method. This study uses Adaptive Structural Theory, because in this theory communication is placed in an important position in a relationship within the group. The results of testing the hypotheses in this study showed that they were accepted, but some hypotheses did not show significant results. The coefficient of determination on the Decision Result variable is 0.273 indicating that the Decision Result variable is influenced by other variables in this study by 27.3%. Furthermore, the Teleworking Application variable is 0.436 which indicates that the Teleworking Application variable is influenced by other variables in this study by 43.6%. Finally, the Decision Process variable is 0.097 which indicates that the Decision Process variable is influenced by other variables in this study by 9.7%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to classify the data of superior class students so as to facilitate student education based on differences inability to learn and participate in learning at school. Grouping students with more and more data becomes less effective and efficient. Moreover, grouping students who have achievements to enter the superior class, of course, requires a computer-based system. Every year the number of students increases, thus the number of student data also continues to increase and there is a process of data accumulation that is difficult to process optimally. Conventional decision-making, cannot handle very large amounts of data. For this reason, data mining is needed in order to solve these problems through patterns of data accumulation. The application of k-means with a sample of 120 data from student report cards of SMK Raksana 2 Medan, can accelerate the grouping of superior class students by inputting the centroid value and finding the closest value so as to produce 3 clusters, namely: cluster 1 mastery of android programming as many as 10 students, cluster 2 mastery web programming as many as 62 students and cluster 3 mastering desktop programming as many as 48 students. The application of data mining with a web-based k-means algorithm to process it into information and knowledge as consideration for educators in the decision-making process.

Abstract

Abstract Politeknik Kampar is a vocational college in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Determination of scholarship recipients at universities is still manual and takes a long time to make the right decisions. These problems can be analyzed using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) decision support system method so that the decision-making process can be carried out more quickly. Where the analysis of the MAUT method is suitable for many criteria. The assessment criteria used consisted of 10 criteria including parental income, home ownership status, housing conditions, number of dependents, parental status, report cards, academic achievements, non-academic achievements, extracurricular activities and organizational experience with a total of 50 datasets. The research process consists of scientific literature, problem identification, data collection, MAUT method analysis, ranking and drawing conclusions. The results of research using the MAUT method can help the scholarship recipient selection team with a fast, effective and objective process in the decision-making process.
