Abstract

According to data compiled from BNPB, it can be seen that disasters occurred in Indonesia from the period of January 1 to August 5, 2021; as many as 1677 natural disasters occurred in Indonesia. These disasters include floods, landslides, tornadoes, and earthquakes. These natural disasters took many victims of the disaster. In addition, the natural disasters that occurred destroyed the existing infrastructure in the area. Various damage to infrastructure has paralyzed the lives of residents in the area. This will be worse if the bridge is damaged because the transportation access point will be cut off. Therefore, this research will create a system to check the strength of a bridge that has a steel frame. This examination is carried out by measuring the deflection of the bridge frame, and the results are displayed through the LCD. This system measures a frame deflection by utilizing a strain gauge sensor. This measurement will be compared with measurements using the actual deflection measuring instrument, LVDT. The results show that this system's measurements produce a measurement error of 3.79%. In conclusion, this study shows that the system is quite good as a measuring instrument for deflection on a real steel truss bridge.

Abstract

Penggunaan Google Map pada era modern saat ini sangat dibutuhkan, banyak aplikasi mengadopsi Map untuk dikembangkan menjadi fitur seperti contohnya pemetaan. Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) adalah teknologi yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk membuat pemetaan tersebut dengan tujuan membantu memberikan informasi lokasi, pemetaan ataupun membantu pengambilan keputusan seperti contohnya pada kasus penjual sayur segar dimana penjual dapat memposting produk mereka lewat website secara online dan dapat dilihat semua orang termasuk dalam lingkup Kota Mojokerto, sehingga antara penjual dan pembeli dapat mendapatkan keuntungan seperti pembeli bisa mengecek produk penjual secara online dan mendapatkan informasi lokasi penjual sayur disekitar. Hasil pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode blackbox yang megujian setiap fitur yang ada pada sistem dengan mendapatkan hasil pengujian 85,45% yang memiliki arti bahwa sistem yang dibuat dapat digunakan dengan baik.

Abstract

The registration information system is an information system flow where students who will register at the post office use an application/web mechanism. For this reason, the post office seeks to maximize efforts in providing an easy, effective and efficient way for student applicants at the Cirebon Post Office. In this case the author designed a registration program using the programming languages ​​php, css, mysql, javascript and then compiled a flowmap and uml. In data collection and design, then the data collection process such as interviews and analysis at the Post Office. This will provide a solution for designing a registration application design with an easy and attractive user interface so that in this design the editing software used is figma and it contains student internship registration information such as dashboards, registrant files and edit profiles. The internship registration information system at the post office is a means to assist agencies and students in the registration process to make it easier to manage application system data effectively and efficiently. so that the author can provide suggestions for future development so that the application can be accessed online, and can contain news or information about the Cirebon post office

Abstract

In relation to the increase in coal prices worldwide in the post Covid-19 pandemic, the heavy equipment business in Indonesia has had a positive impact, one of which is the heavy equipment spare part business. It is very important for the company to maintain the supply of goods to satisfy customers, therefore supply chain management is essential to be evaluated. The aim of this study is to prove that Artificial Neural Network can be applied to assess the supply chain performance of a heavy equipment spare part company. This study will collect data from a holding company in the heavy equipment spare part business located in Jakarta, which will provide an assessment of supply chain performance to all of its subsidiaries located in Jakarta. The research method will use Artificial Neural Network and its accuracy is proven with a confusion matrix. This research to prove that Artificial Neural Network for supply chain performance assessment of heavy equipment spare part companies that has never been done by previous research. The main results from this research are Artificial Neural Network can be applied to measure supply chain performance of heavy equipment spare part companies. State a brief limitation of the study is only limited to spare part companies under PT. XYZ. This study can provide a contribution to Supply Chain Management and Operation Management in the field of heavy equipment.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the challenges of healthcare practice in the artificial intelligence era. This is a narrative literature review. Literature was searched from Science Direct, Google Scholar, and PubMed. The inclusion criteria are research and review. The exclusion criteria are unavailable in full-text journals. Artificial intelligence (AI) is applied in large activities of daily life. However, besides the positive sides of AI, there are still many concerns about implementing AI in medical practice and healthcare services. The sources of the problems are uneasiness at the beginning, lack of understanding, the position of the physicians and patients, the decision-making process, reliability of the data, and accountability. AI has some gaps in handling the privacy of the data. On the other side, the system should be updated for monitoring functions. Therefore, the challenge in implementing AI in the healthcare practice is the integrated work of the AI developer, clinicians, regulators, and researchers. This paper is a narrative literature review, therefore the information would not be as complete as a research study. The contribution of the paper is to the healthcare practice and research development in artificial intelligence. Novelty: This paper includes the development and challenges of artificial intelligence in medical science and healthcare practice.

Abstract

The science of recitation is a science that studies or explains how to read the Qur'an properly and correctly. Allah SWT orders reading the Qur'an with tartil, that is, improving the reading of the letters of the Qur'an clearly, regularly and not in a hurry and knowing the places of endowments in accordance with the law of tajwid. The science of recitation aims to provide guidance on how to pronounce the correct verse so that the pronunciation and meaning are preserved. But in reality there are still many people who do not understand about reading the Qur'an properly and correctly for various reasons. One reason is not knowing the law of tajwid. In this research an Android-based Tajweed Science Learning Application has been built. This application uses Android Studio in the programming process. Android Studio is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for developing software and can be run on all platforms. The system modeling language used is UML (Unified Modeling Language). This application was created to make it easier for Muslims, be it children, teenagers or parents who have limited time to study with religious teachers, because this application can be used at any time, considering that mobile technology is currently widely used, especially android mobile

Abstract

Based on academic data, practicum courses are courses that are difficult for students to take. This can be seen from the number of students who repeat or get a final D or E in practicum courses compared to theory courses. The consequence of getting a final grade of D or E is that students are unable to graduate on time or even fail to graduate from college. Assessment is based on 5 components, namely: Quiz 10%, Assignment 10%, UTS 30%, UAS 30%, and Softskill 10%. Based on the weight of the proportion, UTS and UAS scores play an important role in whether a student can pass the course or not, and usually it is the UTS and UAS scores that make the entire final grade drop even though the scores of other components are high. One way to overcome this is to provide additional lecture points. The decision support system for awarding additional lecture points uses the SMARTER method and uses 5 criteria, namely the number of exercises carried out, liveliness, attitude during lectures and timeliness when submitting assignments can provide recommendations for additional lecture points more objective and more accurate.

Abstract

This paper proposes a novel idea of a fault detection algorithm based on the Regression Tree (RT) algorithm from the decision tree learning and the distance correlation, which is the nonlinear version of Pearson’s correlation, to reduce the number of sensors without significantly decreasing the model predictive accuracy and the fault diagnosis capability. A numerical validation on an experimental dataset provided by the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) with MATLAB software shows that the proposed algorithm has a comparable model predictive accuracy to the classical RT while requiring a smaller number of sensors (5 instead of 24) and more robust in detecting faults with false negative and positive rates < 15%. Furthermore, we demonstrate that our proposed algorithm runs about 4 times faster than the classical RT on an experimental dataset with 4096 samples on an 8-core, 16 GB RAM machine. In a real-life setup, the proposed algorithm can be used to provide a sensor installment plan on a structure. Such that, the user can still monitor the presence of a fault inside a building precisely, but with a cheaper maintenance cost.

Abstract

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has implemented MBKM since 2020. UNIPMA has received assistance from the MBKM program, one of which is the informatics engineering study program. The focus of the MBKM program is on learning outcomes. In accordance with Permendikbud Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education, that in a semester the credits recognized in MBKM activities are equivalent to 20 credits. Furthermore, these 20 credits must be converted to courses in the study program. The purpose of this research is the value conversion process is done manually. The conversion team must work hard to sort out learning outcomes that are in accordance with the courses taken by students outside the study program/college. In the future, there will be more and more students participating in the MBKM program, so that if you convert values ​​manually, it will prolong the conversion process. This study focuses on strategic planning of information systems using the Ward and Peppard method using SWOT, value chain and PEST analysis. This is because this method considers the internal and external business environment of the organization. The results of the research are in the form of a suggestion that the MBKM program conversion data information system is feasible to build and needs to be continued for the system design stage. So that later the information system can support and facilitate the conversion process of learning outcomes to MBKM program for informatics engineering study program.

Abstract

A website becomes an important thing for an institution especially in education. A website may give picture of an educational institution. This attracts the author to do a research on a website. The objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of the website of the library of Ciputra University, Surabaya. WebQual 4.0 and the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) is used. The 50 respondents are users of the Library of the Ciputra University, which are students and lecturers. Data collection done by questionnaire which contains three variables: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. They spread into 22 items of questions. The result shows that the evaluated website has 99.2% of the respondent are satisfied with the services. The gap level is 1.21 which shows that the performance of the evaluated website is bellow expectation. The quadrant analysis found two main attributes which are US5 (the website has an interesting display) and KL3 (the user feels safe about their personal data in the website).
