Abstract

Implementation of information systems is currently needed in all areas of life such as economics, social, health and education. One of the uses of information systems in the field of education is to assist in managing the schedule of activities at Islamic boarding schools. Some Islamic boarding schools currently still use the manual method of scheduling activities, such as recording in the agenda book and the delivery of activity information still uses the bulletin board. This causes the possibility of redundancies of activities and activity information being delivered late. So an application system was developed to assist in managing scheduling at Islamic boarding schools. The application is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and developed using Kodular tools. The results of the development are then tested using blackbox testing, the results that all menus and features in the application are running according to the performance flow, there are no errors and bugs and according to the needs of the Islamic boarding school. So that the application can be used to assist in managing the scheduling system at Islamic boarding schools effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Today, information technology has a very important role for companies to achieve their goals. Palembang University as an educational institution has a goal to be able to implement good higher education governance by utilizing information technology, especially in the field of academic services. Currently, the University of Palembang requires measurement of the implementation of information technology to support the institution's goals in providing effective and efficient academic services. In measuring the level of academic service capability, the Cobit 5 framework is used where the selected domain is Deliver, Service and Support (DSS), which is to ensure that services for supporting aspects are optimal or not. The results of measuring the level of academic service capability at the University of Palembang show that there is still a gap is the average value of the maturity level is 2.6.

Abstract

Servisin is a new startup with a business process, namely being an intermediary between consumers and electronic equipment service providers/technicians in servicing household electronic equipment. In carrying out its business processes, consumers cannot choose service providers according to the desired criteria, resulting in service providers not in accordance with consumer wishes and will have an impact on consumer satisfaction. Therefore Servisin requires an application-based system that can help recommend service providers to consumers according to the desired criteria. The research method uses the SDLC prototype model with problem solving using the Weighted Product (WP) method in making service provider recommendations. The criteria used are Price, Distance, Rating and Experience. The research resulted in the Servisin application which has a service provider recommendation feature based on the criteria and weights that have been selected, and has been tested using Black Box Testing with an application success percentage of 100%. The survey distributed to 30 respondents said that 93.3% assisted in choosing a service provider according to consumer needs and preferences.

Abstract

The system development process should ideally begin with proper analysis and design so that the system can still be developed easily even though there are deficiencies in system functions during the implementation process. In this study, we develop a system design that balances task requirements, individual capabilities, and technological functions to minimize system deficiency gaps, with the aim that when evaluated, the system will be a quality product that meets user needs. To minimize the gap between the function and the completion of the task, an evaluation is carried out using the Task Technology Fit (TTF) model developed by Goodhue and Thompson (1995). The case study in this research is STMIK AUB Surakarta. The feedback provided is in the form of a system design that has been adjusted to the needs of business processes in the form of a flowchart and compiled based on the results of an analysis using the Task Technology Fit model.

Abstract

There are four major races in human populations: Caucasian, Mongoloid, Negroid, and Australoid. The lack of knowledge about human races has become a problem in recent times. Therefore, this research was conducted to increase public knowledge about the different races found in humans. The research used Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and a 50-layer architecture called ResNet-50, also known as a Residual Network, classification model are using Chat Bot feature in Telegram App.. The trained CNN model was tested with a test dataset and resulted in an accuracy score of 84%. The Recall score was 84%, and the Precision score was 85%.

Abstract

During the pandemic, education institutions have applied online learning methods as emergency learning solutions during duress situations. Online learning affects the engagement,satisfaction, and perception of students. Because of that, to understand better how Perceived ease of use, Perceived usefulness, Satisfaction, and Acceptance intention affects students that participate in online learning during the pandemic, we conducted this research using an online survey (N = 390) among online learning students. We found that students are satisfied with online learning whenever the service is easy and more useful when used. We also identified every positive experience from online learning, therefore, encouraging enhancement. We also identified that every positive experience gained in online learning can increase the intention to use it again. This study will help students identify things that can increase student satisfaction and acceptance intentions during the post-Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Transportation that is not supported by adequate road and bridge access will result in hampered aid to victims of natural disasters. Moreover, bridges that collapse due to natural disasters will cripple the region's economy. The importance of this bridge access requires a tool that can describe a bridge's resilience and strength. So if the strength of the bridge decrease, then corrective action will be taken immediately. In this research, a system will be created that can measure the bridge's strength from the vibration load received by the bridge. This system will be made using a vibration sensor, the ADXL335 accelerometer. This sensor will measure the vibration on a miniature bridge where the vibration is created using a DC motor which is weighted on one side of the rotor. This sensor will be read by a microcontroller with an Arduino type. This measurement will be compared with the Benetech GM63A type vibration meter. The results show that the measurement of this system produces a measurement error of 2.97%. From this, it can be known that the system is good as a vibration measurement tool on a real steel truss bridge.

Abstract

Game is a media that is played with the aim of entertaining, relieving stress, filling time, even exercising and making money. One of the ways games make money is through in-game purchases or microtransactions, which have become commonplace among players and are found in many types of games nowadays. Although the Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the economy in Indonesia, this has not stopped Indonesians from spending money to buy in-game items. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors that encourage someone to make an in-game purchase in Batam. The research will be carried out quantitatively by distributing online surveys and having 385 respondents. The method of analysis that will be carried out is using SPSS and AMOS with SEM analysis. From the results of this study, it can be observed that monetary value, enjoyment value, and social value affect purchase intention positively. Therefore, a conclusion can be made that by paying attention to these factors, a student can be encouraged to spend in-game.

Abstract

The making of this credit analysis application is designed to facilitate the credit analysis team (financing company), so that it can assist company management in making decisions whether or not customers are eligible for credit facilities. Good or bad performance of companies engaged in credit, depends on the strength of credit analysts in analyzing potential customers. This research topic is very important for finance companies, considering that many finance companies are not careful in analyzing credit, so that it can result in high arrears. A high level of arrears can cause the company's profitability to decline, even loss. This study uses the 5-C analysis method, namely Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Condition. While the procedure used in this study is to use the software development method with the Waterfall System Development Line (SDLC). This study aims to create an application that can be used by multi-finance companies in conducting credit analysis of prospective customers, using the 5C method. The result of this research is the formation of a web-based application that can be used to decide whether prospective customers deserve credit or not by using 5C analysis. With the creation of a computerized system in deciding whether or not prospective customers are given credit, of course, it is very helpful for company management (credit division) in analyzing credit. This of course can increase the productivity of the company, which in the end will affect the welfare of employees.

Abstract

Pencurian motor merupakan kriminalitas yang setiap tahunnya selalu terjadi peningkatan, mengunci stang motor dirasa belum aman karena teknik pembobolan kunci saat ini bermacam-macam. Dengan adanya kejadian tersebut, maka diperlukan peningkatan dalam sistem keamanan sepeda motor Pada penelitian ini dibuat sebuah sistem keamanan sepeda motor menggunakan voice recognition yang terintegrasi dengan helm. Penelitian ini merancang sistem keamanan untuk sepeda motor menggunakan mikrokontroller arduino nano. Secara garis besar desain sistem terdiri dari voice recognition sebagai akses untuk menyalakan sepeda motor yang ditanam dihelm, modul NRF24l01 sebagai komunikasi secara wireless antara voice recognition sebagai transmitter yang tertanam dihelm dan receiver yang tertanam di motor, modul relay untuk menyalakan kunci kontak dan menyalakan motor, serta OLED untuk menampilkan informasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sistem keamanan sepeda motor dapat bekerja dengan baik, alat ini dapat menyalakan kunci kontak dan motor menggunakan kode suara yang sudah ditetapkan pada modul voice recognition serta dapat menampilkan informasi keadaan motor sehingga dapat meminimalkan tindak kejahatan pencurian terhadap sepeda motor.
