Abstract

Development carried out in Bali, where people's livelihoods depend on agriculture, plantations, and tourism, must prioritize the Balinese cultural side, which is based on Hindu spiritual teachings. It is essential to pay attention to the teachings in Bali, as they are the basis for Bali's sustainable development. One of these teachings is the Tri Hita Karana teaching, especially in the weakening section. This weakening concept teaches humans to maintain a harmonious relationship between humans and the nature around them, which is related to human survival. The aim of the research is to describe the use of plants in the spiritual life of Hindus in Bali. The method used is qualitative research with library data collection techniques. The research results show that Balinese people are very close to the environment, especially plants that complement ceremonies or rituals. These plants are an inseparable part of the spiritual life of the Balinese people, considering that these plants act as materials for religious services and healing and provide educational teachings related to environmental conservation.

Abstract

This research fundamentally aims to build a spirit of optimism and straighten the perspective of religious believers regarding their existence as religious people in a pluralistic country. The three issues that are the focus of attention in this research are related to the causes, consequences and also solutions in overcoming the phenomenon of negative contestation in religion in the digital era in a pluralistic country. As a qualitative research, the data obtained is collected by relying on library techniques and also document recording, where the analysis knife used to dissect the data that has been collected is done through qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the analysis show that the phenomenon of negative contestation in religion is actually caused by the extreme point of view of the people, egocentric personalities, technological developments, religious populism, excessive freedom of social media, the Three Education Centers (family, school and society) lack of synergy, and national disintegration. This has resulted in the emergence of intolerance, religious arrogance, reduced religious empathy, and disturbed people's mental health. However, this can be overcome through religious moderation, cultivating tolerance intensively, maximizing the collaboration of the Three Centers of Education, refraining from negative debates, improving the quality of religious instructors, tightening supervision of social media, broadening horizons, improving the moral quality of the people, and obeying the rule of law.

Abstract

Implementing habituation activities is something that is very important for every individual in forming character. Considering that in this era the decline in student ethics and morals is caused by various factors, apart from that in public schools, the portion available for studying Islam is limited to only 3 hours of lessons (JP) every week, of course these 3 hours of lessons are a short time for guiding students to have noble character by always carrying out God's commands. This is different from Madrasah schools which under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion receive a large portion of Islamic religious learning, because in Madrasahs Islamic religious learning is divided based on their respective fields. With these clear differences, Adhyaksa Medan Middle School carries out a program of religious habituation and character development activities. The aim of this research is to reveal the influence of religious orientation and character development activities on students' religious behavior. This research used quantitative methods, the sample was 42 students. The data in this research was obtained through questionnaire results. From the results of the research, several important findings were found, firstly, there was a significant influence between religious habituation activities on the religious behavior of students at Adhyaksa Medan Middle School, as shown by the results of the t test that the significance value of Religious Habituation Activities on Students' Religious Behavior was 0.000 < 0.05 and the t_count value was 8.548 > ttable 2.022, secondly, it can be seen that there is a significant influence of character development activities on the religious behavior of Medan Adhyaksa Middle School students, as shown by the results of the t test that the significance value of Character Development Activities on Religious Behavior is 0.000 < 0.05 and the t_count value is 5.772 > ttable 2.022, and thirdly there is an infl/ /uence of Activities religious habituation and character development simultaneously (simultaneously) on religious behavior in Adhyaksa Medan Middle School students is shown by the results of the F test that the significance value for the influence of X1 and 3.24.

Abstract

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia is a ministry that carries out an important function, namely managing state finances. There are five Ministry of Finance values ​​that must be adhered to by all employees in their attitudes and behavior, namely integrity, professionalism, synergy, service, and perfection. It is necessary to strengthen the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance among employees and officials of the Ministry of Finance so that every employee and official can apply the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance, one of which is through understanding the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance based on a religious perspective. This research aims to analyze the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance based on the perspective of religions, especially Dharmic religions, namely Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. The approach used in this research is a qualitative and descriptive approach. The data collection method uses in-depth interviews and literature study. The results of this research show that the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance are contained in Hinduism which is spread in the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita. Buddhism also teaches a lot regarding the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance which are spread in various Suttas. Likewise with Confucianism, the values ​​of the Ministry of Finance are spread in various books in the Confucian religion.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of character-based Islamic education management at the Islahuddin Islamic Boarding School in Kediri and its impact on the formation of the morals and character of the students. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the research show that the Islahuddin Kediri Islamic Boarding School has succeeded in implementing character-based Islamic education management through structured and integrated programs, including the habituation of Islamic values in daily activities, personality development, and the cultivation of noble character. The impact of this implementation can be seen in increasing moral awareness, responsible attitudes and high social awareness among students. These findings provide an important contribution in the development of character-based Islamic education management models in other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The Jihad Resolution period in Indonesia was an event where Muslims agreed to defend Indonesia's independence. At this time, almost all elements of society took part, including women. The role of women during the Jihad Resolution period included supporting Laskar Hezbollah. This role of women cannot be separated from women's organizations, mothers, wives, and other individuals. However, the role of women during this period is less discussed in history, especially through the dimensions of women's femininity itself. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to present the role of women in the perspective of struggle in general and women's historiography through the dimension of femininity. In examining this research, a historical qualitative research type with a historical or historiographic approach is used with data collection methods through interviews and literature studies. So that the results of the research show that women have a role in the front line through the perspective of the struggle at that time, and have a role in the back line through the dimensions of women's femininity that are set aside by the patriarchal culture at that time which views how the act of struggle should be. Women contributed directly or indirectly, consciously, or unconsciously participated in the struggle through the things they could and used to do. Things that women did that were seen as not important, but had a chain effect on Indonesia's independence. And how women's actions are synonymous with gentleness which becomes a strength for them to support fighters who need that side amid the chaos of war. Thus, the role of women became complex in times of war, not only on the front lines and rear lines but in society emotionally, socially, and morally.

Abstract

Dynastic politics is a phenomenon that is currently being discussed by Indonesian people amid the 2024 presidential election campaign. This dynastic politics became a trending topic after the Indonesian president's son ran for vice president. The importance of finding a balance between political stability and justice is a major concern in addressing this issue. There are efforts from several elements of society and political activists to advocate for political reform that creates a more transparent and fair system. Therefore, the study of political dynasties that occurred in Indonesia needs to be studied more deeply. The article aims to describe and analyze the issue of political dynasties in Indonesia with a focus on the Islamic political context. This research is a qualitative literature review research with a phenomenological approach to research phenomena that are currently occurring. This research includes an analysis of the historical, structural, and ongoing social impacts of political dynasties within the framework of Islamic politics. The results of this research show that the issue of dynastic politics in Indonesia in 2023-2024 presents complex challenges, especially when viewed from an Islamic political perspective. By understanding these dynamics and seeking solutions that are in line with the principles of justice and democracy, Indonesia can steer itself toward a more inclusive and sustainable political system. In dealing with the issue of dynastic politics, aspects of accountability and transparency become a significant focus from an Islamic political perspective. These principles are considered crucial in protecting power and ensuring political action is by Islamic values. Through this research, it is hoped that it can open people's views to raise calls for political transformation and reform that reflects Islamic values ​​and leads to more just, transparent, and participatory political governance.

Abstract

The background of this research is the practice of Christianisation that tries to influence the dominant Islamic religious beliefs in the region, to cases of early marriage, free sex, drug abuse, and other juvenile delinquency, these problems cause great concern in an effort to maintain the integrity of religious and moral values. This research aims to explore and examine the concept of tawhid harmony in the context of implementing Islamic parenting in the Siosar relocation area, Simacem Village, Tigapanah District, Karo Regency. The research approach is qualitative method and case study. The data collection method is through interviews with parents and direct observation of parenting practices. The results showed that harmony of tawhid plays an important role in the Islamic parenting approach in the area, with the application of tawhid values that include strong religious understanding, open communication based on Islamic values, strict supervision of children's socialisation, and in-depth understanding of religious concepts. Thus, the findings of this research provide a valuable understanding of how the harmony of tawhid can be a strong foundation in guiding children towards a life in accordance with Islamic teachings, especially in relocation areas such as Siosar, Simacem Village. The concept of harmony of Tawhid in Islamic Parenting is not only relevant, but also a solid foundation in guiding children in the context of relocation areas such as Siosar, Simacem Village.

Abstract

The background of this research is treatment by traditional healers, as an alternative for people who find it difficult to access modern medicine. People in Pargarutan Julu Village seek alternative traditional medicine because they are faced with health problems that are difficult to solve medically, indicating dissatisfaction or unmet needs in the modern health system. The purpose of the study is to find out the community's views on the practice of traditional healers as a form of health treatment has become a subject of complex debate, especially in the context of Islamic aqeedah. This paper investigates people's views on shamans as a form of health treatment, focusing on the perspective of Islamic aqidah. The research method is a qualitative approach and literature analysis. The results show that people's views on traditional healers are influenced by cultural factors, traditions, and lack of understanding of Islamic teachings. The informant mentioned that taking treatment from a shaman is part of shirk treatment. Therefore, there is a need for a better educational approach and religious understanding in the community to overcome the wrong perception of shamans and increase understanding of the correct Islamic aqidah in the context of health treatment.

Abstract

Divorce is the breaking of marital ties between husband and wife both religiously and by court. This divorce has an impact on children both social, psychological and religious impacts. This study aims to determine and reveal the impact of parental divorce on the religious behavior of adolescents in Klambir V Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method uses descriptive qualitative methods through a field / case study approach consisting of five informants using data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation by analyzing miles and huberman and using data validity in the form of triangulation.  The results are that religious behavior due to divorce in adolescents in Klambir Village is low and has a very negative impact, there are factors of divorce in Klambir V Kebun Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, namely: economy, infidelity, night out, lack of attention and affection, lack of sense of responsibility and incompatibility between the two partners both in terms of views, vision-mission of marriage and personal between themselves.  The impact of religious behavior is opening the aurat, being lazy to pray, leaving prayers, neglecting and violating religious rules by dating, getting drunk, promiscuity and free sex, fighting parents by saying harsh words and ignoring the words of parents. Conclusion Parental divorce has a negative impact on adolescent religious behavior.
