Abstract

The purpose of the study is to know the influence of product quality,  service quality, and price  on customer satisfaction on the  middle income society the customers of  modern networking outlets retail in Yogyakarta. The population  of this  research are middle income society ascustomer of modern networking outlets retail in Yogyakarta. The sample of this research as much as 100 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection is done by  questionnaire.  Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) the product quality, service quality, and prices simultaneouslyinfluence  on customer satisfaction. (2) the product quality, service quality, and price  partially positive influenc  on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari jiwa kewirausahaan yang diukur dengan percaya diri dan keberanian mengambil risiko terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada UMKM makanan ringan di Kota Semarang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 56 UMKM makanan ringan pada sentra industri kerupuk, keripik, peyek dan sejenisnya yang terdaftar pada Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Semarang Tahun 2013. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan inferensial dengan menggunakan alat analisis regresi linier berganda. Ditemukan bahwa percaya diri berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan usaha dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 9,777. Variabel keberanian mengambil risiko juga berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan usaha dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 2,585. Bila dilakukan pengujian secara bersama keduanya berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Dari hasil temuan tersebut, diharapkan dapat bermanfaat pengusaha UMKM dalam membantu peningkatan keberhasilan usaha dengan menerapkan indikator pada percaya diri dan keberanian mengambil risiko dalam berusaha.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of absorptive marketing capabilities, adaptive marketing capabilities, and innovative marketing capabilities to marketing performance simultaneously and partially on women's clothing online shops on Instagram. Respondents in this study were the owners of women's clothing online shop on Instagram, amounting to 96 respondents. This research was conducted quantitatively by testing the hypothesis using multiple regression that showed the results of the capabilities of absorptive, adaptive, and innovative marketing simultaneously had  significant effect on marketing performance; but partially only innovative marketing capabilities had  significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

Competition in markets creates rivalry between businesses. A company should be able to pass the competitive environment and have competitive advantage with better strategic planning. The fast growing business in Semarang was the body-fitness service business. Consumers select fitness center venues by the company's image, facilities and services. Strategic planning is related to fulfilling the needs of fitness members and customer decisions and becoming success in business. This research objective was to create strategic planning in the field of marketing and operations that focuses primarily on market penetration and developing products to be competitive. The method used was a qualitative and quantitative method of using the IE matrix. The results of the research was corporate strategic planning. In marketing management function, the strategies were to increase number of classes variations in the form of Yoga, TRX and Zumba dance and improve the quality of equipment; and reactivate healthy cafe. In the operational management function, the strategies were perfecting the company's operational program system, improving the quality of equipment and fitness room, provide space, equipment and a new class variation needs, providing the needs of Healthy Café.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of CSR and the mechanism of GCG on firm value. The main reasons are, first, disclosure of social responsibility is very important for the company's reputation. Second, CSR is no longer voluntary. Third, CSR disclosure can be linked to corporate governance. By using a sample of manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2011-2015, this study provides results that (1) disclosure has a positive and significant influence on firm value, (2) managerial ownership has a positive and insignificant influence on the value of the company, ( 3) institutional ownership has a negative and insignificant effect on the value of the company, (4) an independent board of directors has a positive and significant influence on the value of the company, and (5) the audit committee has a positive influence and significant influence on the value of the company

Abstract

This study aims to see corruption case of driving license simulator procurement project from the forensic accounting side. The number of corruption cases in Indonesia has prompted the government to order all central and regional authorities to carry out any measures to combat corruption. The role of forensic accountants is needed in order to dismantle the number of fraud that comes from corruption. Forensic accounting provides an accounting analysis that can be used for debates in court which are the basis for discussion and resolution in court.A forensic accountant is someone who understands forensic accounting. Forensic accountants have specialized expertise in accounting, auditing, finance, quantitative methods, specific areas of law, research, and investigative skills in gathering evidences, analyzing evidence, evaluating evidence, interpreting and communicating the results of the findings. This research explains the corruption case of driving license simulator project procurement of document evidence, physical evidence, testimonial evidence, and personal observation. From the findings of evidence by the forensic accountant, that can help solve the case of corruption driving license simulator procurement project.

Abstract

Quality control becomes an important key for companies in suppressing the number of defective produced products. Six Sigma is a quality control method that aims to minimize defective products to the lowest point or achieve operational performance with a sigma value of 6 with only yielding 3.4 defective products of 1 million product. Stages of Six Sigma method starts from the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) stages that help the company in improving quality and continuous improvement. Based on the results of research on baby clothes products, data in March 2018 the percentage of defective products produced reached 1.4% exceeding 1% tolerance limit, with a Sigma value of 4.14 meaning a possible defect product of 4033.39 opportunities per million products. In the pareto diagram there were 5 types of CTQ (Critical to Quality) such as oblique obras, blobor screen printing, there is a fabric / head cloth code on the final product, hollow fabric / thin fabric fiber, and dirty cloth. The factors caused quality problems such as Manpower, Materials, Environtment, and Machine. Suggestion for consideration of company improvement was continuous improvement on every existing quality problem like in Manpower factor namely improving comprehension, awareness of employees in producing quality product and improve employee's accuracy, Strength Quality Control and give break time. Materials by making the method of cutting the fabric head, the Machine by scheduling machine maintenance and the provision of needle containers at each employees desk sewing and better environtment by installing exhaust fan and renovating the production room.

Abstract

This research aimed to know how is the description of Occupational Health and Safety in Panca Jaya Company. The research subject was one as the owner of this noodle company. The primary data was about occupational health and safety of the company employees, taken by in depth interview. Based on data obtained, it was concluded that the program was conducted but still can be developed. The company provided medecines and first aid for accidents, work health and safety socialization. They also gave the employees BPJS and JAMSOSTEK (social security services), and the tool for fire extinguisher and first aid help (P3K). The company pro actively protect the employees but the first aid tools remained not in good condition and  needed maintenance.

Abstract

This research aimed to know and analyze what factors affect the decision in using credit card and to know which factor was the most dominant in purchase decision using credit card of Paragon City Mall consumers in Semarang City. Research method conducted was quantative research, which variables measured by questionnaires by Likert scale. Data collection was conducted with list of questions or questionnaires. Data processing used SPSS software version 19, with factor analysis. Research result showed that 5 factors which influenced purchase decision using credit card mall consumers, namely transaction and promotion factor, credit card advantage factor, extra factor, having credit card factor, and prestige factor. The dominant factor among five factors was transaction and promotion factor which consisted variables easing transaction, discount in transaction, buy one get one, and point from transaction.

Abstract

NSS Limited Liability Company (NSS LLC) is a lubricant product distributor which has distribution permit from principal of a certain area. The company should maintain a certain performance as the principal’s criteria. Effort to maintain company’s marketing performance always should be conducted sothat to hold the distribution permit. This research aimed to analyze the marketing performance of NSS LLC based on 4Ps elements of marketing mix. Data were collected from 50 active consumers which routinely purchase in six month lately with questionnaires. Desciptive analyze was used to depict the company’s marketing  performance with tables and using average. Overall, results showed that NSS LLC’s marketing performance were good. Each marketing mix element was scored good by consumers. Place distribution element was scored the best compared to other elements, especially related to product guarentee to reach the consumers’ hands in good condition and on exact time. Whilst promotion as the  marketing mix element  was scored the lowest, though promotion programs were scored interesting and frequently conducted.
