Abstract

Hybrid Petri nets are modeling framework for a system that contains discrete and continuous states. In this paper, we construct a model of water treatment plant using Hybrid Petri nets. We choose hybrid petri nets because the water treatment plant contains discrete and continuous parts. The discrete part consists of the state of pumps and the continuous part consists of water volume in each processing unit. The Petri Nets obtained were further simplified to facilitate simulation. Through simulation we can determine the amount of water production with certain specifications.

Abstract

One method of image recognition that can be used is a convolutional neural network (CNN). However, the training model of CNN is not an easy thing; it takes tuning parameters that take a long time in the training process. This research will do Batik pattern recognition by using CNN. From the experiment that we conducted, the result shows that the feature extraction, selection, and reduction give the accuracy more significant than raw image dataset. The feature selection and reduction also can improve the execution time. Parameters value that gave best accuracy are: epoch = 200, batch_size = 20, optimizer = adam, learning_rate = 0.01, network weight initialization = lecun_uniform, neuron activation function = linear.

Abstract

The bank’s business processes target business plans for the next year. Existing conditions, the business plan is based on the growth asset portfolio every year, so that the purchase of productive assets awaits issuers’ offers. This condition will cause a portfolio not to be measured and the inaccuracy of portfolio selection. Asset Liability Management (ALM) is the management of the structure of assets and liabilities to achieve profit. Banking books and trading books are bank portfolios to earn income. In selecting each portfolio, it contains liquidity risk, market risk and, credit risk. The level of profit is reflected in returns, while returns and risks are a trade-off so that calculations require mathematical and simulation models. Each bank needs an overview of the composition of productive assets, as short-term, medium-term and, long-term assets must be measured risk and target achievement. Linear programming method will allocate productive assets as the bank’s leading source of income, to achieve optimization of profit on the risks received. The problem with this research is that there are 830 variables as banking assets and 19 constraints as indicators of risk. In the seventh iteration of mathematical models, return 1,803 Trillyun from 11 banking book assets.

Abstract

Let F, G, and H be simple graphs. The graph F arrows (G,H) if for any red-blue coloring on the edge of F, we find either a red-colored graph G or a blue-colored graph H in F. The Ramsey number r(G,H) is the smallest positive integer r such that a complete graph Kr arrows (G,H). The restricted size Ramsey number r∗(G,H) is the smallest positive integer r∗ such that there is a graph F, of order r(G,H) and with the size r∗, satisfying F arrows (G,H). In this paper we give the restricted size Ramsey number for a matching of two edges versus tree and triangle unicyclic graphs of order six.

Abstract

In this paper, we study the existence and stability of advection-diffusion equation involving square-root. We first change the original equation into the traveling wave by using ansatz transformation. Then, we apply the appropriate perturbation to establish the energy estimate under small perturbation and large wave amplitude. These results of energy estimates are used to prove the stability of traveling wave solutions.

Abstract

In this article, we introduce a new hybrid model called Dual Hesitant N-Soft Sets (DHNSS). This new model is clarified and reformulated as a combination of dual and hesitancy with N-soft sets. We investigate the basic operations of DHNSS. Our novel model is illustrated with real life examples. Moreover, we propose the decision making algorithm to see the application of this model.

Abstract

In this paper, we are interested in the numerical results on the temperature and velocity profiles over a sphere of unsteady nano fluid by dealing with the effect of Prandtl, mixed convection, and magnetohydrodynamics. We first employ the boundary layer theory to establish the continuity, momentum, and energy equations. We further solve those differential equations numerically by using the finite difference scheme of Crank-Nicolson and Thomas algorithm for the iteration technique. The temperature and velocity profiles are established graphically for the variations of Prandtl, mixed convection, and magnetohydrodynamics. The velocity profile decreases when the variations of Prandtl numbers increase. Moreover, the velocity profiles increase when the variations of mixed convection and magnetohydrodynamics are increased. The temperature profiles are decreased for all variations of Prandtl numbers, mixed convection and magnetohydrodynamics.

Abstract

In Indonesia there are many companies that are engaged in tire retreading or reuse of unused used tires. One of the problems in the retread business in Indonesia is that the tire production target is often not fulfilled and the lack of available tires is used as the main raw material for retreading due to the long process of sending tires from consumers to companies. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal needs of resources, determine the priority of achievement and determine the value of sensitivity to the optimum solution achieved. The method used in this study is the Goal Programming Method, because it is suitable for problems that have many goals because through its deviation, the method can automatically capture information about the relative achievement of the goals to be achieved. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the maximum income earned by the company is IDR 474,426,000 or an increase of 36% from the limit set by the company. In addition, it can also be concluded that the sensitivity range for the boundary quantity value is the distance at which the shadow price remains valid. If it increases above the upper limit of sensitivity (increases) or decreases below the lower limit (decreases), the value of the shadow price will change.
