Abstract

White oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a mushroom that has a variety of basidiomycetes that grow in tropical forests with high humidity. This mushroom is classified as edible, has even been cultivated for a long time by the community. Therefore, nowadays oyster mushrooms have a high value, it caused many people have cultivated these mushrooms. In this study we want to show a difference in the growth of the white oyster mushroom mycelium before given promol 12 (as control) and after being given 12 types of local microbial probiotics (PROMOL12). The method used is RAK (Design random groups). In this study, it was shown that the influence of the growth of white oyster mushroom mycelium was given PROMOL12. The growth of oyster mushrooms showed a difference for baglog 12 promol medium having an average growth of 0.6 cm and a growth period of 14 days, on the other hand baglog media control had an average growth of 0.7 cm with a growth period of 17 days. With the same environmental conditions, the average temperature is 27-29.5OC and the humidity is also not less than 60%, which has an average of 70% -81% which is in accordance with the growth of oyster mushroom mycelium.

Abstract

Hybrid Petri nets are modeling framework for a system that contains discrete and continuous states. In this paper, we construct a model of water treatment plant using Hybrid Petri nets. We choose hybrid petri nets because the water treatment plant contains discrete and continuous parts. The discrete part consists of the state of pumps and the continuous part consists of water volume in each processing unit. The Petri Nets obtained were further simplified to facilitate simulation. Through simulation we can determine the amount of water production with certain specifications.

Abstract

Pengeringan merupakan salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan dalam proses pengolahan hasil pertanian, penggunaan mesin pengering menjadi hal yang disarankan guna meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kualitas dari bahan yang dikeringkan. Untuk menunjang efektifitas kerja dari mesin pengering perlu dilakukan pemodelan agar diketahui baik atau tidaknya desain dan kinerja mesin tersebut. Metodologi yang diusulkan untuk membangun hybrid petri net adalah dengan menurunkan himpunan persamaan massa dan persamaan energi yang menentukan perilaku distribusi aliran udara panas. Alat pengering tipe batch terdiri dari beberapa bagian utama yaitu ruang plenum, ruang pengeringan dan tungku. Pada tungku terdiri dari ruang bakar, blower dan plat pembatas. Petri net terdiri dari 6 place dan 5 transisi. Yaitu blower, energi udara (dari blower), gas LPG, ruang bakar (energi panas), heat exchanger, ruang pengering, transisi udara dari blower, transisi gas dari LPG ke ruang bakar melalui aktuator 1, transisi gas dari LPG ke ruang bakar melalui aktuator 2, transisi panas dan udara ke heat exchanger, transisi udara panas dari heat exchanger ke ruang pengering. Mesin pengering biji-bijian tipe batch dapat dimodelkan secara matematis menggunakan Hybrid Petri Net. Petri Net yang diperoleh terdiri dari 6 place dan 5 transisi. Bagian diskrit dari Petri Net digunakan untuk menggambarkan blower, sedangkan bagian lain dari mesin pengering menggunakan bagian kontinu dari Petri Net. Abstract

The agricultural sector is a sector supporting economy and welfare of many people in Indonesia. The direction of life development of Indonesian people themselves has been headed todominant direction, preferring practical and dynamic activity. This of course indirectly influences the point of view of the farmers to do their farming activities using more practical and modern things. Traditional ways have gradually been abandoned, although there are still some farmers we still use them. The development of modern technology in all fields, particularly in agriculture, is certainly very helpful for farmers in terms of saving time and energy. Artificial intelligence systems adopting human mindset into a computer programming language can create technology that works like a human, with training data that has been examined into programming languages.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTamarillo (Solanum betaceaum) is shrub, of Solanaceae family member. This species cultivated at warm temperate region 20oC. Tamarillo only grew in highland, above 1000 m from sea surface level. The aims of this research were to know the diversity and insect species abundance land and to know the potential role of insects that was beneficial and harmful on tamarillo plants at Dieng. The diversity of insect species was obtained from catching insect directly using insect net and indirectly using pitfall trap and light trap in research land. The data was analyzed by using Shannon-Wiener diversity index. The result showed that the diversity index value in 1,80 . The conclusion of the result was the diversity of insect species on monoculture was lower than polyculture land of Tamarillo in Dieng Plateau. The potential role of the insects were natural enemy and destructive insect. Key Words: Diversity, Tamarillo, Monoculture, Polyculture ABSTRAKTamarillo (Solanum betaceaum) adalah semak, dari anggota keluarga Solanaceae. Spesies ini dibudidayakan di daerah beriklim 20oC. Tamarillo hanya tumbuh di dataran tinggi, di atas 1000 m dari permukaan laut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan spesies serangga tanah dan untuk mengetahui peran potensial serangga yang menguntungkan dan berbahaya pada tanaman tamarillo di Dieng. Keragaman spesies serangga diperoleh dari penangkapan serangga secara langsung menggunakan jaring serangga dan secara tidak langsung menggunakan perangkap lubang dan perangkap cahaya di tanah penelitian. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai indeks keanekaragaman pada 1,80. Kesimpulan dari hasil ini adalah keanekaragaman spesies serangga pada monokultur lebih rendah dari tanah polikultur Tamarillo di Dataran Tinggi Dieng. Peran potensial serangga adalah musuh alami dan serangga perusak. Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman, Tamarillo, Monokultur, Polikultu

Abstract

AbstractThe chopper is a machine that is widely used to assist agricultural product processing activities, the most common problem is that the chopper machine will experience a decrease in efficiency if it is used frequently or the machine has passed a service life of more than three years. Another thing that often happens is that the main driving components, namely the dynamo, pulley, v-belt and chopper, wear out so that the efficiency of the engine decreases. Modeling using the petri net method aims to understand the dynamics that occur in the chopper. The chopper is said to be good in this modeling if it does not experience deadlocks and there are no long queues. The resulting Petri Net consists of four places and five transitions. Each place and transition describes the dynamics of the chopper. The transition  is a critical transition which, if enabled and fired, will cause the engine to turn off and make the queue to be chopped more and more. This happens because the initial assumption that is built requires that every enable transition will be immediately fired, namely the .Key words: Petri Net, Chopping Machine, ModelingAbstrakMesin pencacah merupakan suatu mesin yang banyak digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan pengolahan hasil pertanian, permasalahan yang banyak terjadi yaitu mesin pencacah akan mengalami penurunan efisiensi jika sering dipakai atau mesin tersebut sudah melawati masa pakai di atas tiga tahun. Hal lain yang sering terjadi yaitu komponen penggerak utama yaitu dynamo, pulley, v-belt dan chopper mengalami keausan sehingga efisiensi mesin mengalami penurunan. Pemodelan dengan menggunakan metode petri net bertujuan untuk memahami dinamika yang terjadi pada mesin pencacah. Mesin pencacah dikatakan baik pada pemodelan ini jika tidak mengalami deadlock dan tidak terdapat antrian yang panjang. Petri Net yang dihasilkan terdiri dari empat place dan lima transisi. Masing-masing place dan transisi menggambarkan dinamika pada mesin pencacah. Transisi  menjadi transisi kritis yang apabila enable dan difire akan mengakibatkan mesin off serta membuat antrian yang akan dicacah menjadi semakin banyak. Hal ini terjadi karena asumsi awal yang dibangun mengharuskan setiap transisi enable akan langsung difire, yaitu transisi .Kata kunci: Mesin Pencacah, Pemodelan, Petri Net

Abstract

Kalimantan Utara merupakan salah satu provinsi yang berbatasan langsung dengan Negara Malaysia perlu didukung untuk dapat berkembang sehingga masyarakatnya tidak tergantung dengan produk-produk pertanian dari daerah Negara lain. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan guna mendukung hal tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan program pertanian terpadu. Desa batu kajang merupakan salah satu desa terluar di wilayah Kalimantan Utara dan sebagian besar masyarakatnya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani tanaman hortikultura, permasalahan yang ada di desa Batu Kajang yaitu masyarakatnya belum banyak yang memiliki usaha sampingan lain untuk menunjang ekonomi keluarga sehingga masyarakat disana hanya bergantung pada pendapatan hasil panen yang dijual kepasar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Batu Kajang Kabupaten Malinau Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Mekanisme kegiatan dibagi kedalam beberapa tahapan yaitu survei, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan pelatihan merupakan kegiatan puncak dari PKM yaitu bimbingan teknis kepada masyarakat mengenai pembuatan instalasi hidroponik dan pembuatan kolam terpal untuk ikan lele. Tahapan pelatihan terdiri dari beberapa tahapan diantaranya pembuatan instalasi hidroponik, Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berjalan dengan baik ditunjukkan dengan antuasisme masyarakat desa batu kajang yang sangat besar dalam mengikuti pelatihan tersebut. Budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik dan ternak lele merupakan salah satu solusi terbaik sebagai usaha sampingan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

The hydram pump comes from the word Hydraulic Ram, which is a pump that works by relying on the beat of a hydraulic system that can work without using electricity or fuel. Hydram pumps work by harnessing the potential energy in water in a straight pipe and then turning it into dynamic pressure which results in the creation of a water strike resulting in high pressure in the pump. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in exhaust valve weight and input height on the performance of the hydram pump. The exhaust valve weight variables used in this study were 0 gram, 40 gram, 50 gram and 60 gram, with the input height from the surface of 190 cm and 240 cm. The analysis technique is carried out by examining the data obtained from the research results, where the results are in the form of quantitative data made in tabular form and displayed in graphical form. The results of the study showed the highest efficiency of 52.47% at a height of 240 cm, and at a height of 190 cm the highest efficiency was obtained at 40.75%, and the highest yield water discharge at a valve weight of 50 grams was 6.51 l/minute at a height of 240 cm. and at a height of 190 cm, the resulting water discharge is 3.80 l/minute with a valve weight of 50 grams.

Abstract

The process of making tofu includes several steps, namely the process of soaking soybeans, washing soybeans, milling soybeans, boiling or cooking, filtering, settling and adding vinegar. The purpose of this study it was to obtain a Petri Net model of the tofu making process and perform simulations with signed Petri Nets. Simulations are carried out to determine the dynamics that occur during the process of making tofu. The data used is by observation in a household-scale tofu and tempeh processing industry in Tarakan City. The Petri Net model obtained consists of six transitions and ten places. Assuming that every enable transition will always be fired in every state, there are sixteen possible states that can be achieved in the Petri Net simulation.

Abstract

The global pandemic Covid-19 impacts are so wide that almost no country or region in the world is absent. The increase in the number of cases occurred in a short time so that it needed to be handled as soon as possible. One of the impacts of this pandemic includes paralyzing economic activities and hampering educational activities. SMK Terpadu Citra Bangsa, Tarakan City of North Kalimantan Province, has implemented health protocols well by providing a place to wash hands and make hand sanitizers independently, however, there are still shortcomings in its implementation. These deficiencies include low awareness of using these facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of health protocols by every school members. This community service activity is done to facilitate the school members facing a new normal era. Divided into several stages, namely location survey, socialization of activities, technical guidance, implementation of activities, and evaluation, the activities are going well and 87% of the participants understand the given explanation. Hence, we can conclude that this activity is able to foster the awareness and responsibility of the school personnel in implementing health protocols and maintaining cleanliness and health in the current new normal. Pandemi global Covid-19 berdampak sangat luas sehingga hampir tidak ada negara atau wilayah di dunia yang absen. Peningkatan jumlah kasus terjadi dalam waktu singkat sehingga perlu ditangani secepatnya. Salah satu dampak pandemi ini antara lain melumpuhkan kegiatan ekonomi dan terhambatnya kegiatan pendidikan. SMK Terpadu Citra Bangsa Kota Tarakan Provinsi Kalimantan Utara telah menerapkan tata tertib kesehatan dengan baik dengan menyediakan tempat cuci tangan dan membuat hand sanitizer secara mandiri, namun masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pelaksanaannya. Kekurangan tersebut termasuk rendahnya kesadaran dalam menggunakan fasilitas tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang protokol kesehatan oleh setiap warga sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi warga sekolah menghadapi era normal baru. Terbagi dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu survey lokasi, sosialisasi kegiatan, bimbingan teknis, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi, kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan 87% peserta memahami penjelasan yang diberikan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab aparatur sekolah dalam melaksanakan tata tertib kesehatan dan menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan dalam kondisi normal yang baru.
