Abstract

The problem in this research is how the concept of Islamic Education contained in Surah Al-Araf Verse 179. The aim of this study was to determine the concept of Islamic Education contained in Surah Al-Araf Verse 179. In Surah Al-Araf verse 179, Allah describes bahwasannya who will be the inhabitants of hell are people neglect and do not use their sense their minds to understand the true nature of things, is unwilling to avail their eyes and ears either to conclude all who knew and took the sciences as well as to know the signs of God that is in his creation, and the signs of his greatness contained in his books that are both a cause and the perfection of faith into the soul urge to enhance ones Islam. Abstract

Research on Culture and Character Education is a mind that is practical and can be implemented in an atmosphere of education in schools at the present time. Nevertheless, the implementation of the Education Culture and Character require changes in the implementation of the educational process that occurs in the school at the present time. The necessary changes do not change the applicable curriculum but require a new attitude and new skills of teachers, principals and school counselors. Attitudes and new skills is a requirement that must be met (conditio sine qua non) for the successful implementation of Culture and Character Education. Changes in attitude and mastery of the skills required can only be developed through education in-service focused, sustained, and systemic.

Abstract

Abstak: Perbedaan agama dan keyakinan di lembaga pendidikan umum, merupakan sebuah keniscayaan. Jika toleransi tidak diimplementasikan, akan menyebabkan intoleransi yang menghambat tercapainya tujuan lembaga yang menjadi tujuan bersama. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui bentuk toleransi di SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan. Penelitian kualitatif ini digali dengan metode observasi partisifan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Dianalisis mulai dari awal sampai akhir pembuatan laporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa toleransi umat seagama, dan toleransi antar umat beragama di SMP Negeri 2 Arut Selatan dilakukan dengan saling memahami dan menghormati, serta berkomitmen mengutamakan team work. Dilakukan dengan cara: memfasilitasi dan memberikan kebebasan beribadah; memperingati hari besar keagamaan bersama dalam batas kelaziman; berkunjung dan mengucapkan selamat bagi sebagian yang melakukan; dan, menghargai ketentuan makanan/minuman halal dan haram bagi yang muslim.  Kata Kunci: toleransi, kehidupan multikultur

Abstract

Globalization is a process of integration of the national economies of Nations into a global economic system. Globalization also a cultural process which is characterized by the existence of a tendency of the regions in the world, both geographically as well as physically, being uniform in format of social, cultural, economic, and political. In social life, global process has created a culture of egalitarianism, in triggering the emergence of internationalization of culture, creating economic interdependence in the process of production and marketing, and in the field of political liberalization creates. Although globalization campaigned as the era of the future, a promising era of economic growth will bring globally and global prosperity for all. The challenge of national education is growing. Because in the era of the MEA challenge is one of the free flow of skilled workforce ASEAN cross country. If a resource teacher in Indonesia still covered a variety of flaws at both aspects of the competency, qualification, productivity, and well-being, then they can be marginalized in regional and global competition. To that end, the efforts of professional development teachers need to touch up the most fundamental aspects in a change of their competencies

Abstract

Abstract: Efforts have long been focused on trying to explain and justify riba (Usury) and dozens of theories have emerged in this area. This approach went to some Islamic economics writers, who also tried to justify and interpret interest in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics. This is one of the most important economic topics in the past and present, and although the writings on some of the elements of this subject began about half a century ago, but the observer renewed the introduction of these views and ideas in different formats in the present era, Islamic economics issues only show a picture of this subject for discussion. Therefore, this discussion aims to collect these opinions and theories and evaluate them in order to present them to the new discussioners - with different scientific backgrounds - in a suitable manner that serves to discuss this subject and clarify the general framework for it. This discussion will focus briefly on the presentation of some of these theories, opinions and justifications and discuss the hypotheses of these views and theories. Keywords: Riba, Justification

Abstract

AbstractThe renewal of Islamic law has always coincided with the development and renewal of thought in the Muslim world with respect to the sacred text and discussing topics more closely related to philosophy or thought. Of the many prominent figures of Islamic law thinking are contemporary Islamic legal thought, such as Fazlur Rahman which offers specific moral and legal ideal terms in the meaning of texts and the early division of Islamic tradition, Muhammad Shahrur offers theoretical limits in the provisions of Islamic law, and Abdullah Ahmad An-Naim who offers an alternative answer based on the theory of nasakh in melalukan reformulation of Islamic law that arises because the theories or results of traditional Islamic legal thinking is no longer relevant to the circumstances of the times. So the offer of renewal of contemporary Islamic legal methods such as Fazlur Rahman, Muhammad Shahrur, and Abdullah Ahmad An-Naim. Contemporary thinking is applied in the Islamic law reformation method which can be used as a renewal in Islamic family law such as Rahmans double motion theory, Shahrurs boundary theory, and nasakh theory as an alternative answer by Naim in the context of renewal of family law in accordance with the objectives of Islamic law applies in every place and time (shalih likulli zaman wal makan).Keywords: theory and application, contemporary, renewal, Islamic family law

Abstract

Reading is an important language skill for students. Through reading, students are able to get  lots  of  information from various  reading sources. However, after observation and interview  are  conducted, it shows that the ability of interpretative  reading comprehension for the students still needs to be improved. Therefore,  the  researcher thinks that the improvement of the students’ ability in interpretative reading comprehension can be done by using constructivism approach.In relation with the effort to improve the ability in interpretative reading comprehension, the specific problem limitation studied is as follow. How far is the implementation of constructivism approach in pre reading stage, while reading stage, and post reading stage can improve the ability of interpretative reading comprehension for the students of the grade? Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out how the process and results of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) to deal with anxiety in patients Extrapyramidal Syndrome student of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The subjects in this research was a student of the Faculty of Da’wa and Communication UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya 3rd semester who suffer from anxiety disorders because Extrapyramidal syndrome since the age of 10 years. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a case study and comparative descriptive analysis, the researchers compared before and after the counseling process using Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). The results of this research showed that the process of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) in dealing with anxiety in patients Extrapyramidal syndrome using three techniques on REBT approaches (techniques disputing irrational belief, rational emotive imagery techniques, and modelling techniques) that do quite successful. It can be seen from the values obtained in the calculation by the standard test with a percentage of 50% - 75% which can be considered quite successful.Keywords: Rational Emotive Behavior therapy, Anxiety

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inequality of character development of students, particularly confidence when speaking in public. This study aims to answer the problem formulation which is reflected in the research hypothesis that modelling techniques effective in increasing the confidence of students in Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al-Fithrah Surabaya (Ha). The approach used is a quantitative approach with the research methods true experimental design, pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were taken by purposive from the population are students of class Istidad Ulya  A and B. The results of data analysis showed that the modeling techniques effective in improving students confidence when speaking in public in Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al-Fithrah Surabaya.Keywords: Modeling Techniques, Self Confidence

Abstract

In the globalization era, people are increasingly competitive and increasing their ability to become productive human beings. Human development is the main thing in doing change and progress in life. In the discussion Human development in the era of globalization which is a world program through the unity of nations is inseparable from the study of Islam. So that Islam as a religion can enter to become a very important discussion in development issues of course. National development becomes the main task of the government from the regional level to the province, thus providing human resources as a form of mover and its managers. Policies on human resource development always experience dynamics and perkembangnnya in terms of sociology, anthropology and culture. Islam as the majority religion in Indonesia becomes a determinant and has a major influence on development issues nationally. Islam and human development in the era of globalization becomes the most important thing to build Indonesia into a culture, character and progress. Thus the development process becomes the main part to reconstruct the infrastructure, human, network and every aspect. Construction in religious thought that is the study of Islamic thought in the development process becomes the goal for tercipatanya development in the era of globalization.
