Abstract

Hoax is information that is not true. The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) found that there was 2,099 hoax news that was spread thousands of times via social media. This generally impacts the community so it can lead to a crisis of confidence in the government. This arises because many message recipients have different literacy levels, which will affect how people analyze the information conveyed. This research uses the Random Forest method, which is used to classify large amounts of data to detect hoax news. The research results show that the Random Forest method is proven to be able to classify hoax news based on data that has been weighted and entered into the system. From the results of the study using 200 data sets, which were divided by 80% in the form of training data and 20% of testing data, the classification results obtained from the testing data were in the form of 28 positive sentiments and 23 negative sentiments with an accuracy rate of 98%.

Abstract

LinkedIn is the largest professional networking application in the world, classified as a social networking site (SNS) application. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest number of active LinkedIn users. To ensure user comfort, LinkedIn regularly updates their application. However, recently there have been some negative ratings regarding the LinkedIn application. To directly assess this, a research study was conducted to determine user satisfaction while interacting with the features available on LinkedIn. This research was carried out using the user experience questionnaire method, with 35 respondents participating. This method consists of 26 questions representing six assessment indicators, including attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The indicator with the highest score is stimulation, with a score of 1.48, which is categorized as good. On the other hand, the lowest indicator score is perspicuity, which only obtained a score of 0.79, below average. Overall, LinkedIn has received predominantly positive feedback. However, it is still recommended to continue innovating, especially focusing on improving perspicuity aspects that are tailored to the needs and issues faced by users.

Abstract

User authentication and authorization play a vital role in securing sensitive data within applications. E-commerce applications, in particular, require robust authentication and authorization methods to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of exchanged data. JSON Web Token (JWT) has emerged as a popular authentication mechanism for securing data transmission over networks. This paper explores the implementation of JWT in a RESTful API to achieve user authentication and authorization in an E-commerce application. The objective of this study is to analyze the implementation of JWT in a RESTful API for user authentication and authorization within an E-commerce context. The detailed implementation of JWT in the Thrifty Shop application is discussed, encompassing its utilization for user authentication and authorization. Additionally, the benefits derived from employing JWT in the Thrifty Shop E-commerce application are explored. In conclusion, the implementation of JSON Web Token (JWT) in a RESTful API proves to be an effective approach for user authentication and authorization in E-commerce applications. The use of JWT ensures that only authenticated users gain access to sensitive data, thus enhancing the security of the Thrifty Shop E-commerce application. This implementation can serve as a model for other E-commerce applications seeking to bolster their security measures.

Abstract

The attendance system is a mechanism to record the attendance of students in each class they take. The attendance system serves as evidence of students' presence in the learning process. In its journey, Universitas Islam Raden Rahmat has been using manual attendance through attendance journals in the learning process. However, with technological advancements, the attendance process has followed this trend, one of which is face recognition. In this research, the researcher designed a face recognition application for the attendance system that can be implemented on mobile platforms, especially Android. This application using the Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) method and the OpenCV library. The objective of this application is to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of the current attendance system by eliminating the need to repeatedly retrieve attendance forms, preventing fraud, and reducing paper usage. By using the waterfall system development method, testing showed a face recognition accuracy of 70%

Abstract

West Sulawesi is an area in South Sulawesi province that is experiencing a sudden increase in seismic activity. There have been 264 earthquake events recorded during the 2021-2022 period. The increase in seismic activity occurred around the west Sulawesi segment and the Mamuju segment, which are local faults located in west Sulawesi. Sulawesi Island itself is the result of fragments due to larger complex reactions and has quite high seismic activity. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the earthquake hypocenter relocation to obtain more accurate hypocenter parameters for fault zone identification and micro fault orientation. This study aims to relocate the earthquake hypocenter based on mathematical measurement data using the Double-Difference method for identification of fault zones and micro-fault orientation. The data used is BMKG earthquake catalog data for the western Sulawesi region with a range of 118.49 East - 119.59 East and 3.67 LS -2.45 LS in the 2021-2022 period. The Double-Difference method is a method based on the Geiger method using residual travel time data from each pair of hypocenters to the earthquake recording station. The principle is to compare two earthquake hypocenters that are close to the earthquake recording station with the assumption that the distance between the two hypocenters must be closer than the distance between the hypocenter and the earthquake recording station. This is done so that the raypath of the two hypocenters can be considered close to the same value. From the calculation of the earthquake hypocenter relocation, it was found that the hypocenter after relocation experienced changes in distribution that accumulated in the Mamasa fault segment area. From the residual histogram, it is found that the RMS residual is close to 0, indicating an improvement in data quality as evidenced by the observation travel time and the calculated travel time are almost close to the same value. In the cross-section results, it is obtained that the depth changes vary in the subsurface depth from the initial depth of 10 km before being relocated, indicating that the earthquake that occurred in West Sulawesi was included in the shallow crustal earthquake type.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the SISKEUDES application in Dangin Puri Kauh Village, whether it is in accordance with applicable regulations and theories, the benefits of the SISKEUDES application in village financial management, the constraints and obstacles encountered in its implementation and the internal controls applied. This study uses qualitative research techniques with interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of the SISKEUDES application in managing village funds in Dangin Puri Kauh Village is in accordance with applicable regulations, namely Permendagri Number 20 of 2018. The SISKEUDES application also has a role in accountability in managing village funds and managing village finances to become more efficient. The internal control of the SISKEUDES application is also considered quite good. In the implementation in the field there are still obstacles such as slow applications when operating, server down, and other obstacles.

Abstract

Corn is a staple food source that is rich in carbohydrates. As a source of carbohydrates, some people consume corn as daily food. Determination of corn seeds is an aspect that needs to be considered by farmers before planting because inaccurate selection of seeds can cause unsatisfactory yields and cause farmers to suffer losses. Determination of corn seeds carried out by farmers in Nansean Village and East Nansean Village is still using a manual method by looking at the size of the large fruit and choosing from seeds that have a fast harvest time but will produce unsatisfactory yields which causes farmers to feel crop failure. So it is necessary to build a decision support system that can provide answers to problems using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The capability of the system built can provide solutions in selecting superior corn seeds for farmers and the results are in the form of rankings. The system development model used in developing this system is the waterfall model. Based on the research results, the chosen alternative in this study was alternative A01, namely NASA 29 Hybrid Corn with a total value of 0.88.

Abstract

The changes in various aspects of life have led to the rapid development of information technology, enabling it to encompass all fields of knowledge in the education world and support the teaching and learning process. E-Learning is an integrated system developed through a holistic approach to ensure the effectiveness and interconnectedness of learning. It directly connects learners with relevant learning-teaching resources, facilitating active interaction and in-depth exploration. Flexible-Learning (F-Learn) is a distance learning platform at Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) that supports academic activities. The End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method is used as an evaluation tool to measure user satisfaction with the application system by comparing their expectations with their actual user experience. The research aims to measure and evaluate students' satisfaction level with the use of F-Learn as a benchmark for the quality of services provided. Based on the conducted analysis, the content rating score is 3.9775, accuracy is 3.485, format is 3.31, usability is 3.82, and timeliness is 4.115.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been felt by all sectors, including the economic sector. UMKM have really felt the impact after the covid 19 pandemic with declining sales turnover..This study aims to classify products from UMKM that are not selling well and selling well. The K mens method was chosen for grouping because it is simple and the K means method can group according to the same criteria grouped into a data cluster, for different data entered into another cluster. There are 28 data sets which will be grouped into 2 clusters . With the criteria of total goods sold, total transactions, difference in days and final stock. The data was taken from January 2022 to August 2022. After clustering, it was found that C1 had 12 products that were selling well, and for C2 there were 16 products that were not selling well. Therefore, UMKM can carry out sales promotion strategies that are fast and precise so that products that are not selling well can increase sales volume. Promotions can be carried out in the form of discounted promotions, mailer promotions, and fractional promotions

Abstract

Technology is growing rapidly and has covered almost all areas of life, one of which is education. The learning process at Yaperna Tuamese Elementary School is still experiencing problems in providing learning media and dealing with students who are left behind in material due to illness or activities outside of school. The learning process only uses textbooks in front of the classroom with so few book packages, so students feel bored and lazy to study. So while the concentration on students must be directed specifically at science subjects. Through an Android-based interactive multimedia learning application, students can explore the material independently. The designed media includes text, images, audio, and video to help teachers prepare learning media and maintain students' attention and concentration on lessons. Rapid Application Development (RAD) with 4D mode is the configuration method used. Through the results that have been tested, users feel more interested and more easily understand material with interactive multimedia than those who are used to using textbooks.
