Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the facts that causing lack of student diversity appreciation at SMPN 2 Jati Kudus. The next is to clarify that Social Science learning activities using synopsis media with multiculturalism aspect efectively to improve student diversity appreciation at SMPN 2 Jati. The research design used in this study is a qualitative research with a case study approach . Subjects researched are relatively limited , focus of research concerning variable and very broad social dimension because it involves students at once psychological dimensions that are influenced by social and civic life. Implementation of this strategy was observed in the social studies class IX with a synopsis media with multiculturalism aspect. Phenomena analyzed classes ranging from: syllabus, lesson plans, preparation of teaching materials or the use of media to arouse the interest of students to understand the concepts of multiculturalism. Students are also given a set of questionnaire contains an attitude scale that contains student opinions about the diversity of ethnicity, religion in the school and the outside. The data were obtained as follows : the causing factor of a lack of student diversity appreciation at the school because the quality of teaching and learning in these schools. The major factor is the weakness of quality and quantity of social studies teachers.  in addition to the surrounding community socio-economic factors behind most impoverished immigrant population. After learning social science with Media Synopsis students begin to understand what is the meaning of the multiculturalism concepts. Students want to hangout and work in group with no barriers of differences culture. When evaluation the results are satisfactory, an average score of 78.6, which means obtaining complete and almost students familiar of multicultural concepts.

Abstract

Government policies to implement online learning during the covid pandemic 19 caused many problems in schools; that is, lack of effectiveness on learning communication, students boredom, too much teacher assignments, and complaints about quota and internet networks. In this emergency situation, teachers must act quickly so that learning can run effectively. The cell phone which was originally only used as a communication media, has now become multifunctional. It is now used to provide learning material and assignments in a very short duration. The flipped classroom learning model is learning that combines learning in the classroom with learning outside the classroom with the aim of maximizing learning activities. Learning activities that are usually done in class, are now done at home. The problem in this study is " Can the use of the flipped classroom learning model in online learning Sociology be effective in increasing the competence of class X students. IPS SMA Negeri 1 Juwana in exploring, interpreting, summarizing data and creating concepts as well as creating ways of solving problems in everyday life?" This research was conducted using a class action research approach (CAR). The results of this study indicate that (1) the learning achievements of SMA 1 Juwana students in Sociology subjects can be improved through the use of a flipped classroom learning model; (2) the integration of this learning model can be done by: students (a) are given a general explanation on how to join the class in the google classroom application; (b) fill out an online attendance list individually; (c) learn the topic of the material themselves which usually uses video lessons or ppt made by the teacher; (d) independently then try to apply knowledge by solving problems and doing practical work. Flipped classroom learning is very efficient, because students are asked to study material at home, while in the Google classroom group, students can focus more on their difficulties in understanding the material or their ability to solve questions related to the material; (2) the use of the flipped classroom learning model and the integrated CTL approach can improve the cognitive competence of students in learning Sociology not only to the level of C1, C2 and C3, but also to the level of analysis, synthesis and evaluation of the concepts and generalizations they formulated.

Abstract

This study aims to determine; (1) Can the implementation of contextual-based learning methods in class X social science subjects improve student motivation? (2) Does the implementation of contextual-based learning methods in class X social science geography subjects improve student achievement? (3) What is the response of class X students regarding the application of contextual based learning methods to geography social studies subjects ? The method used in this study is quantitative with an analytical descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that from the data on the recapitulation of students' activeness in the discussion, CTL is able to increase motivation shown by the activity of students in the discussion, it can be seen from the number of students who are quite active from the first cycle to the second cycle. Learning achievement of students from the first cycle to the second cycle has increased, and classically with the application of contextual learning methods / CTL (contextual teaching learning) fulfills an increase in competency standards. Recapitulation of observational data about contextual learning generally shows that students' responses increase, all in the categories tend to agree and agree.Keywords:IPS Geography, Contextual, Madrasah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan nilai toleransi siswa melalui pembelajaran sejarah tokoh Sunan Kudus dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana guru menumbuhkan nilai toleransi melalui pembelajaran sejarah tokoh Sunan Kudus dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning. Project Based Learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan pemecahan masalah dan memberikan peluang siswa bekerja secara mandiri mengkonstruksi belajar mereka sendiri dan puncaknya menghasilkan karya siswa yang bernilai realistik. Tokoh Sunan Kudus digunakan sebagai pembelajaran mengingat bahwa Sunan Kudus adalah tokoh lokal dari Kota Kudus dimana letak objek penelitian yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Gebog. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed kualitatif-kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental tanpa kelas kontrol dengan memberikan penugasan kepada siswa berupa penelusuran tokoh Sunan Kudus yang nantinya dipresentasikan dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil pengamatan selama pembelajaran menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas untuk sikap toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebesar 87,74.Kata kunci: Nilai toleransi, Pembelajaran sejarah tokoh, Sunan Kudus, Project Based LearningThe purpose of this study is to foster students' tolerance values through the learning history of Sunan Kudus figures by using Project Based Learning models. The focus of this research is how teachers foster tolerance values through historical learning of Sunan Kudus figures using the Project Based Learning model. Project Based Learning model that involves students in problem solving activities and provides opportunities for students to work independently to construct their own learning and ultimately produce student work that is of realistic value. Sunan Kudus figure is used as a learning given that Sunan Kudus is a local figure from Kudus City where the object of research in SMA Negeri 1 Gebog. This study uses a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach to the type of field research. The method used is experimental without a control class by giving assignments to students in the form of tracking Sunan Kudus figures who will later be presented in history learning. Observations during learning show the average value of the class for tolerance in daily life is 87.74.Keyword: Tolerance values, Learn the figures history, Sunan Kudus, Project based learning

Abstract

Samin community in Dukuh Bombong still mantain and practice Samin’s rule in their daily life. Rapid flow of globalization, does not rule out the possibility that the teachings Samin’s shifted. The purposes of this research are to analyze the existence of marriage order Samin community in the era of globalization. The research uses the qualitative method and the ethnography approach. Method of collecting data in this research is deep interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the research shows Samin community in Dukuh Bombong still maintain the marriage order according to their teachings. The Samin community in Dukuh Bombong married without involving the government, such as KUA (Office of Religious Affairs), village apparatus. The marriage stages of Samin community, including shortening, nyuwito, rukunan/seksenan. The Samin community in Dukuh Bombong are more open about marriage customs only on the affairs of choosing a spouse.Keywords: Samin community, marriage

Abstract

Tradisi Lomban atau Syawalan adalah tradisi yang telah berlangsung sejak ratusan tahun silam yang berada di Kabupaten Jepara khususnya Desa Ujungbatu dan masih dilestarikan sampai sekarang. Tradisi ini merupakan sebuah budaya lokal yang dilaksanakan pada bulan syawal dan berlangsung atas dukungan bupati, lurah, dan masyarakat Jepara. Pesta rakyat Jepara ini banyak dikunjungi oleh wisatawan dari berbagai daerah sekitar seperti Kudus, Pati, dan Rembang yang ingin menyaksikan langsung tradisi yang hanya terjadi satu tahu sekali. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan tujuh hari setelah lebaran Idul Fitri ini sangat unik. Dalam upacara intinya di adakan sebuah kegiatan larung kepala kerbau yang dijadikan simbol dari sedekah laut yang berada di Ujungbatu. Selain kegiatan larung kepala kerbau tersebut, acara sudah dimulai beberapa hari sebelumnya sengan mengadakan berbagai lomba untuk lebih memeriahkan budaya lokal tersebut. Namun demikian, esensi dari tradisi lomban ini yaitu bentuk rasa syukur dari masyarakat Jepara kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas nikmat sumber daya laut yang melimpah sehingga dapat dijadikan sumber mata pencaharian oleh semua orang serta terjalin kerukunan antar masyarakat

Abstract

Anak-anak penyandang cacat memiliki hak yang sama dengan anakanakpada umumnya untuk mendapatkan pendidikan. Sayangnya,ketersediaan pendidikan yang memadai untuk anak berkebutuhankhusus tidak memadai dan setara. Karena penyediaan sekolah luarbiasa hanya ada di kota-kota besar. Pendidikan inklusi datangsebagai solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah sosial anakpenyandang cacat. Tujuan pembentukan sekolah inklusif adalahmeminimalkan dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh sikap eksklusif.Sekolah inklusi juga memberi kesempatan kepada anakberkebutuhan khusus dan kurang mampu menempuh pendidikanpascasarjana.

Abstract

The fast spread of Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has prompted the Indonesian government to enact policies to combat the virus. Using a literary and empirical approach, this research is utilized to create an accurate picture and provide information connected to the socio-economic situations in Indonesia as a result of the government's implementation of policies to restrict the growth rate of covid-19. The implementation of pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB) policy is thought to be effective in reducing the spread of covid-19, but it has an impact on the limited space for people to move in Indonesia. The Covid-19 has also had an impact on Indonesia's economic situation, with rising unemployment rates, declining economic growth, and rising poverty rates.

Abstract

Forests are the largest natural wealth owned by Indonesia, which contains thousands of species of living things, both animals, plants and the human race. Forests must be protected and preserved by the caliphs of the earth for their survival. But the greedy attitude of humans makes forests in Indonesia arid because the environment does not have enough water absorption so that disasters occur everywhere and become a problem in Indonesia every year. The purpose of this research is to collect information based on data from the location and provide insights so that the public is aware of and understands the importance of preserving the beautiful natural environment in the Kendeng Mountains area which frequently occurs flash floods and landslides. This research method uses a literature study research method from two references, namely the primary reference, namely data collection which is carried out directly without intermediaries and secondary references obtained from documents, books, journals, etc. The results of this study indicate a relationship between environmental damage that occurs with human actions who lack awareness of environmental preservation. The Wonosoco people who live in the foothills of the Kendeng mountains still need socialization about the importance of preserving nature. The need that makes their excuse to cut trees so that the forest becomes deforested, but there must be an effort to replant it to reduce major risks.

Abstract

Sayyid Ja'far Sodiq or known as Sunan Kudus is a figure who has an important role in the entry of Islam in Kudus. The multicultural Holy Society has a unique typology in morals, science and economics, known as "Gusjigang", Bagus-having good behavior), Ji (Ngaji-good at reciting the Qur'an) and Gang (Dagang —good at trading). The identity crisis brings human consciousness to explore the wealth, wisdom and excellence contained in local culture, build and strengthen the identity and pride of the nation. Modernization or more accurately said as Westernization on the one hand is able to achieve rapid progress, but on the other hand it fails to achieve prosperity for nature and humans. This study reveals the influence and relevance of Gusjigang from Kanjeng Sunan Kudus in moderating Islam in Kudus in life with a unique format and typology that is able to become a new concept for the development of morals, science and economics (trade) so as to create a prosperous and prosperous society.
