Abstract

The Independent Curriculum can be interpreted through the implementation of independent learning-based learning in elementary schools as a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila (P5) students. This curriculum adjustment is a form of the government's seriousness in dealing with problems that occur in the world of education. One of the problems currently occurring is the fading of cultural values based on local wisdom in students' identities. Students tend to be interested in gadgets and foreign culture that is gained from using these gadgets. In this way, the author wants to discuss the implementation of strengthening the cultural values listed in lesson P5 with the P5 theme discussed being local wisdom in phase C of elementary school. This research was carried out in class 5b at SDN 1 Kondangsari. The aim of this research is to determine the application of P5 learning and its impacts. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected using interview and documentation techniques. The samples taken were 30 grade 5 elementary school students. The result of this research is that the implementation of p5 with the theme of local wisdom at SDN 1 Kondangsari has been running quite uniquely and creatively. This can be seen from the outdoor- based learning process which is fun and blends with nature.

This research is quantitative research. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample for this research is class X IPS 3. The variables of this research are the suitability of learning media, the process of applying media in geography learning, and student learning outcomes. Data collection methods are observation, tests, questionnaires, documentation. In this research, data analysis uses N-gain analysis. Based on the results of N-Gain analysis of 30 students. The majority of students (77%) experienced an increase in the medium category, while a small number of students (6%) experienced an increase in the low category, and a group of students (17%) experienced an increase in the high category. The N-Gain value ranges from 0.286 to 0.833, overall the average student increase is 0.512, indicating a sufficient increase in learning outcomes. Implementation of learning using replica-based media based on learning outcomes obtained an average score of 84.16. while in the class implementing learning activities using the lecture method, the average score was 68.16. So media and media application activities can have an influence on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research focuses on the application of ethnoecology-based environmental management in social studies learning as well as students' understanding of ethnoecology-based environmental management. Research data was obtained using observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaire methods. The research was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Bae, Kudus Regency, with informants from the school principal, social studies teacher and students. The research results show that: 1) ethnoecology-based environmental management in social studies learning has implemented two habits; namely morning exemplary activities in the form of morning pickets which are carried out before learning begins by students according to the picket schedule, as well as learning in nature in the form of planting activities, making drainage and managing waste which are tailored to learning outcomes; and 2) students' understanding of ethnoecology-based environmental management, including: aspects of wisdom, independence, religion, creativity and healthy living. Wisdom can be seen through the application of 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle); independence through students being able to carry out class pickets without having to be instructed; Religious is seen from students being able to take advantage of the environment by upholding religious values; student creativity in managing used goods in craft activities or class competitions; and healthy lifestyle. With motivation and good examples from teachers, students will be created who understand and care about environmental management.
