Abstract

Abstract

Objective: Some evidences found in the world related to Phlebitis case, influence the controlling and preventing infection in the hospital.  Phlebitis case in a hospital is a quality standard of hospital service.  The effort to increase the quality standart of hospital needs nurse's good behaviour (knowledge, act, skill) in giving nursing treatments especially on infusion installation and maintenance. These behaviour has a very meaningful connection with the application of preventing and controlling infection in the hospital. Methods:  This literature review has structural purpose, which is to identify, to evaluate and to synthesize the best evidence whish is available in the world, including in Indonesia. The nurse's behaviour can give an impact  for the quality standart  service  in hospital. Pubmed, Google Scholar or scientist EBSCO and being acceed  to find a prove  about nurse's behaviour and Phlebitis by using ‘behaviour’ OR ‘attitude’ OR ‘knowlegde’ OR ‘obedience’ AND ‘phlebitis’ OR ‘intravenous therapy’ OR ‘dreassing of infusion’ AND ‘standart precaution’ OR ‘nosocomial infection’ as a key words. Results:    The first step to looking the articles is by defind the keywords ‘behaviour’ OR ‘attitude’ OR ‘knowlegde’ OR ‘obedience’ AND ‘phlebitis’ OR ‘intravenous therapy’ OR ‘dreassing of infusion’ AND ‘standart precaution’ OR ‘nosocomial infection’, we got  112627 articles, Google Scholar or scientis,  we got 58 articles, EBSCO we got 764 articles. The second step we sorted the articles from the previous step by using ‘publication date 5 years, abstract, full text availability, as a key words.  And by Pubmed we got 26263 articles, Google Scholar or scientist we got 36 articles, EBSCO we got 112 articles. The next step is by sorting the result of the previous step by filted articles attributes (peer reviewed) for Pubmed we got 467 articles, Google Scholar or scientist we got 27 articles, EBSCO we got 34 articles. Next, by sorting using criteria  Inclusion (behaviour, attitude, knowlegde), phlebitis and exclusion criteria (vena central line) then we got 9 articles from Pubmed, 19 articles from  Google Scholar or scientist , 2 articles from EBSCO.Conclusion:  The effort of controlling  and preventing infection in the hospital can be done by applying universal caution on Phlebitis case,  for example on intravena installation theraphy, needs the nurse that has knowledge,  act and skill on intravena installation.

Abstract

Background. Quality Of Work Life (QWL) is a process in which employees and stakeholders work to improve the quality of life of employees and organizational performance simultaneously. Nurses are one of the service personnel who have greater and longer interactions with patients. QWL is a degree of fulfillment of human needs in the work environment. If human needs have reached, it can increase productivity. This gives an understanding that QWL is the main problem that gives attention to the organization because it allows to increase the participation of members in the organization.Aim. To determine the QWL level of nurses and predictable factors affecting QWL nurses in hospitals.Method. The study uses a cross-sectional approach. The population came from type B hospitals in Makassar, Indonesia with a sample that was meaningful for more than 1 year and respondents obtained 287 nurses. Data were collected by questionnaire and test which was a linear regression with a significance value of 0.001.Results. The results of QWL nurses are at the moderate level and also in each of the QWL dimensions. The best predictors of QWL nurses working in type B hospitals were marital status (b = -0.199) which was able to have an impact on QNWL of 55%.Conclusion. Dimensions and overall QWL nurses are at a moderate level. QWL is important to identify capacity in meeting the needs of both the community and the workplace.

Abstract

The number of child HIV patients in Indonesia in 2016 was 1,185 children. In pediatric and adolescent patients with perinatal HIV, the risk of psychological disorders can arise as a direct and indirect result of HIV infection. The direct effect is derived from HIV infection itself and the indirect consequences are caused by things related to HIV status. These problems include emotional, behavioral, cognitive and psychosocial disorders. At present a child's development check is carried out if a problem is suspected and there are no regular inspections. This includes examining the risk of behavioral disorders for children with HIV. Knowing the risk of behavioral disorders in children with HIV aged 6-18 years. The research respondents were outpatients at Poli UPIPI RSUD Dr Soetomo. Patients and guardians who were present were given an explanation and were asked to fill out informed consent as a sign of agreement to become respondents. All patients and guardians who came and met the criteria were taken as research respondents. This research was conducted by filling out a questionnaire regarding risk factors and research instruments. The instrument used was GPPH to assess the risk of behavioral disorders. Statistical analysis with logistic regression showed that the risk factors for hospitalization history (P = 0.031) and parental completeness (P = 0.011) were associated with risk of behavioral disorders. Children who have been hospitalized in the hospital have a possibility of 22,337 times greater risk of behavioral disorders. And children who don't have parents have a 40.586 times greater risk of behavioral disorders. There was a risk of behavioral disorders in children with HIV aged 6-17 years who do not have parents or had been hospitalized.
