Abstract

Objective:Ketepatan taksiran dari berat lahir bayi adalah salah satu pengukuran yang paling penting pada awal persalinan. Bayi dengan BBLR di Indonesia menempati urutan ke tiga sebagai negara dengan prevalensi BBLR tertinggi dan berat badan lahir yang besar berhubungan dengan angka morbiditas, mortalitas yang tinggi dan berbagai komplikasi. Methods: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik yang menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian yaitu sebagian bayi yang lahir di PMB Silvy Kusmiran tahun 2023. Besar sampel yang diambil adalah besaran sampel minimal, yaitu 117 responden yang diteliti adalah taksiran berat janin sebelum bayi lahir. Uji statistik yang diterapkan adalah Uji Chi Square, yang menggunakan perangkat lunak atau program statistik untuk menghasilkan Odd Ratio Results: Usia dengan validasi dan reability rumus taksiran beraat janin (TBJ) untuk prediksi berat badan lahir berdasarkan tinggi fundus uteri. Hasil uji statistic diperoleh nilai p = 0.762 dengan nilai OR = 0,700 (CI 95% : 0,219 – 2,234). paritas dengan dengan validasi dan reability rumus taksiran beraat janin (TBJ) untuk prediksi berat badan lahir berdasarkan tinggi fundus uteri Hasil uji statistik diperoleh p = 0.774 dengan nilai OR = 1,255 (CI 95%: 0,522 – 3,015). IMT dengan dengan validasi dan reability rumus taksiran beraat janin (TBJ) untuk prediksi berat badan lahir berdasarkan tinggi fundus uteri. Hasil ui statistik diperoleh nilai p = 0,274 dengan nilai OR = 1,000 (CI 95 %: 0,560-3,646) Conclusion: Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia dengan validasi dan reability rumus taksiran beraat janin (TBJ) untuk prediksi berat badan lahir berdasarkan tinggi fundus uteri. Abstract

Objective: Back pain that occurs in the third trimester of pregnancy along with the enlargement of the uterus, the weight point of the body is more inclined forward so that the pregnant woman adjusts her position to remain balanced, as a result of which the body will try to pull the back to be more backward, the lower spine is more curved (lordosis) and the spinal muscles shorten. One of the nonpharmacological interventions to relieve back pain is the five basic techniques of massage. Massage using these five basic techniques includes effleurage or rubbing, friction or rubbing, petrisage or massage/squeezing, tapotage or patting/tracing, and vibratie or vibrating.The study was conducted to determine the effect of five basic massage techniques on the back pain of pregnant women in the third trimester. Methods: The approach to this study is a one group pre test and post test design technique. A total sampling of 32 respondents of pregnant women in the third trimester, who were previously given a Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire. The intervention of five basic massage techniques is carried out during patient visits with a duration of approximately 30 minutes Results: Based on the results of the study on the intensity of back pain in the third trimester before (pre-test) and after (post-test) five basic massage techniques for 30 minutes were given which were analyzed using a spearman rank obtained a p value = 0.000. This shows that the value of p<0.05 which means that there is an influence of the five basic massage techniques on the intensity of back pain of pregnant women in the third trimester Conclusion: There is an effect of intervention five basic massage techniques on the back pain of pregnant women in the third trimester

Abstract

Objective: One of the physical changes during pregnancy is edema in the legs. In Kertasari Village, Kertasari District, in 2022, 60.3% of pregnant women in their third trimester were found to experience physiological leg swelling. Management of feet with physiological edema includes foot massage and hydrotherapy or soaking the feet in warm ginger water. To determine the effectiveness of foot massage and foot soaks in warm ginger water on third trimester pregnant women's foot edema in Kertasari Village, Rengasdengklok District, Karawang Regency Methods: Pre experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The samples were 31 pregnant women in the third trimester who experienced leg edema using a total sampling technique. Bivariate analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Results: Univariate research results mean the average leg edema of pregnant women in the third trimester before being given a foot massage and soaking the feet in warm ginger water was 5.26 and afterward was 2.90. The results of the bivariate research showed that the p value = 0.000 Conclusion: There is effectiveness of foot massage and foot soaking in warm ginger water on third trimester pregnant women's foot edema. It is hoped that health workers in dealing with physiological edema in pregnant women in the third trimester are expected to be able to provide complementary midwifery care, one of which is by doing foot massages and doing warm water soaks plus easily available natural ingredients such as ginger to reduce physiological edema

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Proses penyembuhan luka perineum memiliki waktu kesembuhan yang bervariasi yaitu 6-7 hari . Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal seperti karakteristik ibu bersalin, sttus gizi, perawatan dan kondisi perlukaannya. Luka perineum ini dapat cepat sembuh apabila ibu nifas mendapatkan asupan nutrisi yang cukup terutama makanan yang kandungan proteinnya tinggi. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh konsumsi Protein Nabati Kacang Almond untuk penyembuhkan luka Perineum pada Ibu Nifas di Rs. Medirossa 2 Cibarusah tahun 2023. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. desain penelitian dengan menggunakan two group post test only design, Populasi dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada data seluruh ibu nifas dengan luka perineum di RS Medirossa 2 Cibarusah pada bulan Oktober 2023 sebanyak 32 orang . Tekhik pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan tekhnik Purposive Sampling dengan luka perineum yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi Hasil Penelitian : Hasil T-tes dependen diperoleh p value sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa h0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh konsumsi kacang almond dengan penyembuhan luka perineum laserasi derajat dua dan tiga Kesimpulan dan saran : Terdapat pengaruh luka perineum antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dilihat dari luka perineum sudah kering atau masih basah. Pada kelompok intervensi luka perineum signifikan ada pengaruh kacang almond, luka perineum kering

Abstract

Objective: Changes that occur physically, psychologically and sexually cause women who are facing menopause to be anxious and worried. Excessive anxiety can have bad effects on the body. Methods: research with a cross sectional study approach, for the educational variable, the type of research used is quasi-experimental. The research design uses two group measurements (observations) with a Pretest Posttest design. Sampling used a minimum experimental research sample according to Gay and Diehl, namely 20 samples per group, a total of 40 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling Results & Conclusion: 1) The level of anxiety in premenopausal and elderly people after a physical examination of blood pressure is dominant at the level of mild anxiety with normal blood pressure physical examination results, namely 17 people (37.0%). 2) The level of anxiety in premenopausal and elderly people after a physical temperature examination, the level of mild anxiety with normal examination results was the highest, namely 20 people (43.5%). 3) The level of anxiety in premenopausal and elderly people after Hb examination mostly showed a mild level of anxiety with normal examination results, totaling 13 people (28%). 4) The level of anxiety in premenopausal and elderly people after the GDS physical examination was carried out showed that mild levels of anxiety dominated the normal GDS examination results with a figure of 14 people (30.4%). 5) The mean value of the pretest results for the intervention group was 2.74, the mean value of the posttest results was 1.91. The results of the Wilcoxon test were significant, p-value 0.001 <0.05, which means there was a difference in pretest and posttest anxiety levels in the intervention group. 6) The results of the Mann Whitney test are significant p-value .032 < 0.05. This means that there is an influence of physical examination and education on changes in anxiety levels in premenopausal and elderly people.

Abstract

Objective: ANC is a stage of examination of pregnant women carried out by professional staff which is given to mothers during pregnancy which is carried out in accordance with predetermined standards in order to achieve quality services (Siregar et al., 2023). With ANC, it can be used as a forum by health workers to convey information about health to pregnant women better and can improve the quality of life for mothers and babies who are born later. Indirectly, ANC visits will have an impact on improving the quality of health services. Methods: The type of research used in this research is analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The research was carried out in the Baduy tribe area, Kanekes Village. The total sample was 30 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is the side accidental technique. The instrument in this research is a questionnaire. The analytical method used is Chi-Square analysis. Results: The results of the analysis of the relationship between customs and ANC visits in the Baduy tribal area in 2023 from 30 respondents using the chi-square statistical test showed a p-value of 0.638 > 0.05. The results of the analysis of the relationship between culture and ANC visits in the Baduy tribe area in 2023 from 30 respondents using the chi-square statistical test showed a p-value of 0.004 < 0.05 Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between customs and the regularity of ANC visits and there is a significant relationship between culture and the regularity of ANC visits

Abstract

Background: In terms of maternal care during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, Indonesian people cannot be separated from behavior and habits based on customs or culture which are believed to provide benefits and positive impacts. Community beliefs, traditions and culture in the care of postpartum mothers are still widely found in the community. The community believes that the culture of caring for postpartum mothers has many positive and beneficial impacts on them.Research Objective: To determine the influence of postpartum experience on culture in postpartum care at PMB Valen Aprilia R.Research Method: Cross Sectional with the population in this study being postpartum mothers in the PMB Valen Aprilia R work area in November 2023 as many as 34 people. The sample was determined using purposive sampling of 30 people.Research Results: The correlation value obtained a result of 0.531, which means that the influence of postpartum experience on culture in postpartum care is very strong, which means mothers who have good knowledge of postpartum experience tend to have a positive attitude towards culture in postpartum care. The results showed that the significance level was 0.003, which was lower than 0.05. The results of this research show thatConclusions and Suggestions: There is an influence of postpartum experience on culture in postpartum care at PMB Valen Aprilia R in 2023. In order to improve the quality of services, provide guidance to the community such as PKK mothers, posyandu cadres and also the surrounding community, especially providing health education for postpartum mothers in choosing or carrying out cultural practices. To reduce the risk of health problems in postpartum mothers and their babies.

Abstract

Objective: to identify Anxiety in third trimester pregnant women is caused by fear of facing childbirth which is caused by several factors, including parity, age and education. To determine the relationship between parity, age and education of pregnant women in the third trimester with the level of anxiety in facing the period leading up to childbirth at the Petir Health Center, Serang Regency in 2023. Methods: This article is quantitative analytical with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study was 55 respondents from third trimester pregnant women using a total sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Primary data was analyzed using the square test. Results: The results of univariate analysis showed that the majority of third trimester pregnant women had low risk parity 65.5%, low risk age 67.3%, low education 63.6%, and moderate anxiety level 60.0%. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between parity (p value = 0.018), age (p value = 0.006) and education (p value = 0.002) with the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing the period approaching delivery. Conclusion: parity, age and education are related to the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing the period approaching delivery. Pregnant women are expected to be able to take advantage of health services to reduce anxiety before giving birth, so that during labor the mother will be calmer

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is still low, efforts to overcome this are by increasing the quality and quantity of breast milk, including giving oxytocin massage which increases the hormone oxytocin which can calm the mother so that breast milk comes out automatically and consuming Moringa leaves because they contain phytosterols which can increase breast milk production. Purpose of writing: To determine the comparison of oxytocin massage and consumption of Moringa leaves on increasing breast milk production at the Salsabila Mom & Baby SPA Clinic, Periuk District, Tangerang City in 2023. Research Method: quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group design. The sample of mothers breastfeeding 3 days after giving birth whose breast milk production was not smooth in December 2023 was 44 samples using the accidental sampling technique. Bivariate analysis uses Paired Samples T-Test and Independent T-test. Research Results: The results of the univariate research were the average breast milk production from giving oxytocin massage before and after 7.00, the average breast milk production when giving Moringa leaves before and after was 4.41 and after 7.91. The results of bivariate research on breast milk production on giving oxytocin massage (p value = 0.000) and giving moringa leaves (p value = 0.000), the difference in the effect of giving oxytocin massage and giving moringa leaves (p value = 0.034). Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a difference in the effect of giving oxytocin massage and giving Moringa leaves on breast milk production. It is hoped that breastfeeding mothers can consume processed Moringa leaves regularly during breastfeeding in order to increase breast milk production, besides that, families can motivate mothers in the process of breastfeeding by providing oxytocin massage so that mothers can breastfeed exclusively.

Abstract

Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is a strategic indicator of health development that reflects the health status and quality of the population. The number of MMR in Indonesia in 2021 collected in the family health profile records at the Indonesian Ministry of Health still shows a high number of 7,389 deaths (RI Ministry of Health, 2022). Infection is one of the causes of maternal death, in developing countries at least one in ten maternal deaths is caused by infection. Postpartum wounds are still a common cause of infection in 80-90% of cases. Infections after childbirth are caused by normal birth wounds or caesarean section, mastitis, thrombophlebitis and pelvic inflammation. Objective: To determine the comparison of the combination of boiled egg white and snakehead fish with the administration of snakehead fish on the healing of cesarean section wounds in postpartum mothers. Methods: The design of this research is quantitative experimental research (quasi-experimental) with a "pretest posttest one group design. The sample in this study was all postpartum mothers with cesarean section wounds at the Ridhoka Salma Hospital, West Cikarang in December 2023 – January 2024 as many as 30 respondents. Results: Based on the research results, there is a comparison with the results of the T Test with a sig value of 0.029 < 0.05, which means Ha Accepted: There is a comparison of the combination of boiled egg white and snakehead fish with the administration of snakehead fish on the healing of cesarean section wounds in postpartum women at Ridhoka Salma Hospital Year 2024. Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a comparison of the combination of boiled egg whites and snakehead fish with the administration of snakehead fish on the healing of cesarean section wounds in postpartum women at Ridhoka Salma Hospital in 2024. It is hoped that the results of this research can become input material and can be applied in the field to provide animal nutrition for postpartum mothers, especially boiled egg whites and snakehead fish for healing cesarean section wounds.
