Abstract

One of the business sectors that rarely gets digital innovation is the sports business sector, such as the sports field rental business. The problem in this business is that there are still many business actors and their customers who carry out the conventional reservation process, namely by making books manually and this has an impact on the customer experience when conducting leasing transactions, and for business actors it also has an impact on financial recapitulation due to incorrect calculations. The purpose of this research is to develop an Android-based application that is able to provide a much faster and easier sports rental transaction process by integrating with firebase services (firebase authentication, firebase realtime database, firebase cloud messaging). This study uses the method of developing the Rapid Application Development system and in collecting data using qualitative methods, namely observation, interviews, and literature study. From this research, an android-based application has been successfully developed that is able to solve the problem of conventional sports facilities rental and minimize the occurrence of calculation errors in financial recapitulation by integrating it with firebase services.

Abstract

The use of websites for advertising activities is rarely found in Indonesia. Most of the websites developed are still for commercial purposes and some are free but limit certain facilities. This study aims to develop a website that can facilitate these needs. The website that is built is a website that can be used to help display advertisements from advertisers and provide opportunities for people who want to help researchers in serving advertisements with certain benefits. The system will pay members who promote ads even if they only see the ad. Website development begins with designing a website database. The next stage is designing a website using a codeigniter framework. This web development model uses the concept of model, view, and controller (MVC) in codeigniter. Website model development is becoming faster and more structured. The results of this web design research are used for community social activities to earn income via the internet.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has emerged starting in 2020. To know the development of cases, a good calculation is needed. A prediction system can help in analyzing accurate data on positive causes, cures, and deaths. The right prediction or forecast can be the answer to the question of the impact that will occur, forecasting will provide an overview to the government and the community so that it is hoped that related parties can prepare for future impacts or even reduce the number of cases growth. In this study, the Exponential Smoothing method was used as a prediction calculation. This method is simple but effective in producing accurate predictions. Forecasting data used comes from the Indonesian government with the assumption that the data is valid and reliable. Based on research that has been carried out to predict the increase in new cases of the Indonesian National Covid-19, the best alpha (α) value is 0.33 with an SSE of 1048027,939. This shows that the number of cases is increasing. The results of forecasting in this study using the time series approach and the SES method are more suitable for predicting the percentage increase in cases than knowing the exact number.

Abstract

The process of teaching and learning activities (KBM) during the Covid-19 pandemic in schools cannot be done in the classroom, but along with technological developments it can be applied through online media. The use of e-learning using google classroom functioned as an online media with many benefits, so it is very suitable for its application in schools. The use of e-learning with google classroom is a means to complement class learning which aims to improve the competence of students. The application of this media is certainly very helpful for educators in providing material both in the form of assignments, discussions that can be carried out outside of classroom learning activities. The research conducted aims to measure the effectiveness and satisfaction level of educators in the implementation of learning through e-learning using google classroom which is applied in schools. The method of calculating the effectiveness of using the Likert scale is based on the respondent's data obtained from the questionnaire. The Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is used to measure the level of importance, and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) is used to measure the level of satisfaction. The use of e-learning with googles is a means of learning in schools to get very effective results. The results of the calculations are obtained based on indicators of learning planning, making teaching materials, delivery, student interaction, and learning evaluation. The level of suitability and the level of user satisfaction gets a figure above 80%, so it means that the application of e-learning is very satisfactory.

Abstract

Publishing scientific articles online in journals is a must for researchers or academics. In choosing the journal of purpose, the researcher must look at important information on the journal's web, such as indexing, scope, fee, quarter and other information. This information is generally not collected in one page, but spread over several pages in a web journal. This will be complicated when researchers have to look at information in several journals, moreover, the information in these journals may change at any time. In this research, web harvesting design is conducted to retrieve information on web journals. With web harvesting, information that is spread across several pages can be collected into one, and researchers do not need to worry if the information has changed, because the information collected is the last or updated information. Harvesting technique is done by taking the page URL of the page, starting the source code from where the information is retrieved and end source code until the information stops being retrieved. Harvesting technique was successfully developed based on the web bootstrap framework. The test data is taken from several scientific journal webs. The information collected includes name, description, accreditation, indexing, scope, publication rate, publication charge, template and quarter. Based on tests carried out using black box testing, it is known that all the features made are as expected.

Abstract

The development of communication technology such as the use of mobile phones based on android. Android has the capability of getting good as personal computer and it has a large storage area. Android users use it to store important data. Critical data that is stored to make various ways to membobolnya. The role of cryptography is indispensable for securing the data. Cryptography is the science to encode a message, while to keep the message or document is secure and cannot be read by those who are not entitled to use encryption. The application of encryption uses a symmetric algorithm. On the application of this method used is Simple Columnar Transposition method. Simple Columnar Transposition method by dividing plainteks into blocks with a key length (k) certain then these blocks are arranged in the form of rows and columns. The making of this application using the JAVA programming language and XML. The application is made for a mobile with Android using the Studio. This application was eventually shown on android mobile phone users. The application used to encode text/sentence, the result of encryption in the form of chipertext, and the result of decrypting plaintext form.

Abstract

In company activities, the IT helpdesk plays an important role in ensuring and providing the best quality related to information technology. When carrying out work activities that use information technology, there are problems that arise in the use of IT, including at PT. Mitra Tiga Berlian (MTB). MTB is a company engaged in the service sector, to be precise a car service workshop (body repair and oven painting specialist) located on Jl. Kalimanggis, Jatikarya, Bekasi. In designing the IT helpdesk information system on MTB, the authors conducted observations and interviews beforehand designing a web-based information system using the waterfall method so that the system designed can be used by the IT department in problem reports quickly and can store information on the problem of each problem in the complaint. that occurs, thus minimizing communication errors in the IT Helpdesk.

Abstract

To find out if an employee is present, attendance is usually used. Attendance can be done in several ways, one of which is by filling in the attendance list that has been provided (manual attendance). However, this method is less effective because there is a possibility that employees who are not present will entrust attendance to employees who are present. Therefore, other ways are needed so that this does not happen. In this study, attendance was carried out using facial recognition. Face recognition is one of the fields used to recognize someone. A person's face usually has special characteristics that are easily recognized by people. These special characteristics are also called features. In this study, these features can be searched using the Principle Component Analysis (PCA) method. The PCA method is one of the methods used to produce features by reducing dimensions using eigenvectors from facial images (eigenface). The facial image used in this study consisted of 40 people with each person having 10 facial images with various expressions. Image data is divided into two parts, namely training data and test data. In this study, it is proposed to pay attention to the amount of training data and the number of eigenvectors used to get the best level of accuracy. From the research results, the highest level of accuracy occurs when the training data for each person is 7 and the test data for each person is 3 with an accuracy rate of 96.67%.

Abstract

Design of payroll information systems and requests for funds to the company PT. Boetomix Nusantara Lestari WEB-based still uses Microsoft Excel. By using MS Excel, errors that occur in inputting data and requesting payroll data have many errors. The process of sending goods data still uses whatsapp, because whatsapp used by the salary recapitulation officer has difficulty at the end of every month. This application designed has the aim of providing convenience for users so that the recitation process at PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari can run quickly and has a high level of accuracy. Interviews, observations and document analysis are methods used in the data collection process. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to describe running business processes and the relationship between users and the system. The employee payroll information system has been tested and the results are in accordance with the needs of PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari.

Abstract

Lecturers are one of the main actors in universities. Lecturer performance can affect the quality of a college. Because the quality of higher education is strongly influenced by the lecturers, the performance of the lecturers needs to be assessed. Lecturer performance can be assessed by evaluating the lecturer's performance in teaching. Lecturer performance can be evaluated by classifying student assessments of lecturers. Lecturers are assessed based on how the lecturer mastered the material, the lecturer's discipline in teaching, and the presentation of the material. The process of grouping lecturer scores can be done using the K-Means algorithm. K-Means is a popular clustering algorithm that performs well. K-Means requires a parameter that is K or the number of clusters. The importance of the number of clusters so that there is a need for optimization in determining the number of K. In this study, optimization was carried out using the Elbow method so as to produce the ideal number of groups of 4 groups. The results of the clustering evaluation calculated using the SSE were 54.4% which showed that the results were not optimal. The results of the cluster evaluation are not optimal due to the lack of data for the K-Means application.
