Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivation, discipline, and the employees’ performance in PT XXX, the effect of work motivation on the employees’ discipline in PT XXX, and the motivation on the employees’ performance both directly and indirectly through discipline in PT XXX.   The data collection was conducted in March 2017.  The method used wasa case study because this study involved all members of the population from the study area.  The available number of respondents in this study were 38 people. The first purpose was analyzed descriptively.  The second and third purposes were analyzed using path analysis.  The employees’ work motivation in PT XXX was included in the medium category (good enough).  The discipline of the employees was inthe good category for each dimension of three, namely working time, carrying out the work, and obeyingrules.  The employees’ performance in PT XXX was included in a good enough category.  In this study motivation did not affect the employees’ discipline in PT XXX.  Discipline had the biggest direct influence on the performance by 65.90 percent, compared with motivation by 36.50 percent,  the indirect effect value of motivation on performance is 11.30 percent.                                                                                                                                              Key words : dicipline, motivation, path analysis, performance employee

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that influence the frequency of tourist visits, find out the willingness to pay admission tickets, and analyze the economic value of Tourism Destination Sentulfresh Education Farm in Bogor District. The research location was chosen deliberately in Indonesian Sentulfresh, Sukaraja Subdistrict of Bogor District.  The sample in this study was 68 respondents for original visitors and potential visitors from Sentulfresh Education Farm who were selected by accidental sampling methods with criteria of age 17 years and above.  Research data collection were conducted in March-May 2018.  The analytical method used in this study were qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis.  The results showed that: Frequency of tourist visits was influenced by travel costs, education level, income, and distance.  Willingness to pay entrance fees by visitors to the tourism destination of Sentulfresh Education Farm in Bogor District was Rp75.367,65/individual for happy kids tour packages, Rp95.220,59/individual for super kids tour packages, and Rp71.323,53/individual for parent travel packages.  The total economic value of the Tourist Destination for Sentulfresh Education Farm in Bogor District was Rp11.101.412.264,62 with the value of the consumer surplus/individual/visit of Rp504.082,65.                                                           Key words: economic value, sentulfresh, tourism, travel cost

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of partnerships between sugarcane farmers and PT PSMI, the income of partner farmer’s sugarcane farming, and the main income of sugarcane farmer households.  The study was conducted in Pakuan Ratu Subdistrict and Negara Batin Subdistrict of Way Kanan Regency in Lampung Province.  There were 31 samples in this study drawn by simple random sampling.  The data was collected in February-April 2018.  Primary data was obtained by direct interviews with sugarcane farmers and secondary data was from several related institutions.  The research data was analyzed by farm income analysis and household income analysis.  The study showed that in overall the implementation of partnership activities was in accordance with the partnership contract between the company and the partner farmers. The income of independent cost sugarcane farming was higher than the income of the pure sugarcane partners and partial contracts.  The income of all sugarcane farmer partners of independent cost, partial contract, and purely cost were mainly obtained from sugarcane farming. Key words: farming, income, partnership

 This research aims to analyze the role of Mandiri woman farmer group members, time allotment for productive and reproductive sector, access and control in family economy.  The research wasbegan on 29 November until 29 December 2018 at Mandiri woman farmer group. The research method is a survey with complete enumeration as many as 30 respondents. Data were collected usings questionnaires, depth-interview, observation, documentation, and records. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The research results showed thatmembers of Mandiri woman farmer group in household economy earned average income of Rp1,968,810.00 from participating in the Woman Farmer Group and side bussiness. Thetime spent on productive sector was 6 hours 2 minutes (23.4%) and on reproductive sector was 11 hours 2 minutes (44.3%).  On daily basis, women spend their time more on reproductive sector than productive. Abstract

The research goals were to determine the level of food security, farmers’ household dependences on Tahura WAR, know the relationship between income and household expenditure and the level of energy consumption. This research was conducted in Kebagusan Village, Gedong Tataan Subdistrict with respondents of 76 farmers around the Tahura WAR, which utilized the tahura and joined  farmer groups. Data were analyzed quantitatively and statistically, i.e. the first goal with cross-classification between the share of food expenditure and household energy consumption level, the second by measuring the value of income contribution  from Tahura WAR and other sources toward  total income, and the third with the Pearson Product Moment correlation.  The results showed that farmer households who achieved the level of food security as withstand was 17.11%, as vulnerable was 26.32%, as less  was 34.21%, and food insecurity was 22.37%.  Farmer households around Tahura WAR have a dependency on Tahura WAR which is indicated by the amount of income contribution from Tahura was 62.51%.  Income has a negative relationship with food expenditure, but a positive relationship to nonfood expenditure.  The income does not have a significant relationship with the level of energy consumption. Key words: Dependence, Food security, Tahura WAR
